[Board and Liaison Updates Board Chairman City of McKinney Chamber of Commerce Community Development Corporation Visit McKinney]

LIAISON UPDATES. BOARD CHAIRMAN. NOT A LOT TO SAY. THIS MORNING WE HAD A. CREDIBLY SUCCESSFUL WEEK LAST WEEK WITH BYRON NELSON. WE HAD. SEVERAL PROSPECTS AT AT THE EVENT. THAT HOPE TO BRING. NEW BUSINESS TO OUR CITY AND THE VERY NEAR FUTURE. AND JUST THE OVERALL.

IT WAS REALLY INTERESTING TO ME BECAUSE. WALKING AROUND AND LISTENING TO PEOPLE TALK AND.

SOMEWHAT UNDER THE RADAR WITH NOT REALLY GETTING IN THE CONVERSATION. IT WAS REALLY NICE TO HEAR. A LOT OF GOOD COMMENTS ABOUT. JUST DETERMINED BUT ABOUT THE CITY MCKINNEY AS A WHOLE AND. AND THE JOB THAT OUR POLICE AND FIRE WERE DOING AND JUST THE WHOLE. WAY THAT THE CITY WAS PRESENTED IN ADDITION TO THE TOURNAMENT ITSELF. CITY MCKINNEY. THANK YOU, MR CHAIRMAN, MEMBERS OF THE BOARD. MR PRESIDENT. MY NAME IS PAUL GRAHAM CITY MANAGER. GOOD MORNING. JUST A COUPLE ITEMS STOPS UPDATE YOU ON. WELL JUST CARRYING FORWARD YOUR COMMENTS. CHAIRMAN LOCK MILLER ON THE BYRON NELSON. I WOULD. OF COURSE, THERE ARE SO MANY THANKS TO GO AROUND. IT WAS A VERY SUCCESSFUL, EXCITING EVENT. YOU KNOW THAT WE HAD ABOUT 10 OR 12,000 PEOPLE A DAY IT WAS LIMITED PURPOSELY BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC.

[00:05:03]

CHALLENGE FOR US WILL BE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET 40,000 PEOPLE OR MORE PER DAY MANAGE, BUT I'M SURE WE'LL BE WAY ARE UP TO IT. WE'VE GOT LOTS OF AFTER ACTION REVIEW TO DO.

THERE'S CERTAINLY SOME THINGS THAT WE LEARNED AND SOME THINGS THAT WE THINK NEED TO BE CHANGED OR ADJUSTED. THAT'S A CASE WITH ANY TYPE OF EVENT LIKE THIS. OF COURSE, THEY WERE EXCITED TO TAKE THAT ON POLICE AND FIRE. OF COURSE, I HAD THE SAME COMPLIMENTS THAT WE RECEIVED. ARE THEY? THEY'RE THE MOST VISIBLE BECAUSE THEY WERE THERE AND THEY'RE IN UNIFORMS, BUT THEY'RE A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE WHO PARTICIPATED IN THIS PARTICULARLY OUR PUBLIC WORKS.

EMPLOYEES IN OUR PARKS EMPLOYEES WHO DID A LOT OF SET UP IN A LOT OF BEHIND THE SCENES WORK. PREPARE FOR THIS TYPE OF EVENT. I WANTED TO THANK THEM. CERTAINLY, UM WE ARE. WELL UNDERWAY WITH OUR BUDGET. I JUST CONCLUDED YESTERDAY OR LAST INTERNAL BUDGET MEETING S. SO NOW WE'VE TAKEN ALL THE BUDGET REQUEST FROM THE DEPARTMENT'S. THERE ARE ALWAYS MORE REQUEST AND RESOURCE IS AVAILABLE. THAT'S NORMAL IN THE BUDGET PROCESS THIS YEAR IS NO DIFFERENT IN THAT SENSE NOW WILL WE NEED TO DO THEN IS GO BACK. WE TAKE THOSE BUDGET REQUEST. WE LOOK OUR FINAL REVENUE PROJECTIONS OVER THE COMING WEEKS, AND THEN WE SORT OF CALL THE LIST. WE GO DOWN AND. AND IT'S BEEN ENTERED OF PROCESS WITH THE DEPARTMENT DIRECTORS ON BASED ON THE RESOURCE IS AVAILABLE ON WHAT THEY'RE ASKS, ARE AND WHAT WILL BE ABLE TO ALLOCATE, BUT WE ARE ON SCHEDULE, OF COURSE FOR BUDGET PRESENTATION IN EARLY SEPTEMBER. FOR TO THE CITY COUNCIL. I'M SORRY WE EARLY AUGUST, THEN THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPTED BUDGET ROUND MID SEPTEMBER. SO WE ARE MOVING AHEAD WITH THAT. AND THEN LASTLY, I JUST WANTED TO SHARE WITH YOU. SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE SEEN THIS LITTLE BIT OF A G WIZ FACTOR. ONCE I HIT MY PASSWORD INTO MY COMPUTER, BECAUSE IT DOESN'T RECOGNIZE ME MY GLASSES ON. SO, UM THE. THE ELECTIONS THIS PAST MAY WE HAD 22,604 TOTAL VOTES CAST IN THIS LAST LOCAL ELECTION. THAT DOUBLES THE AMOUNT LAST MAYORAL ELECTION 2017 THAT WAS 11,376 VOTES CAST. SO, UM, IT DOESN'T DOUBLE THE PERCENTAGE. AND WHY WOULD THAT BE? WHY WOULD YOU DOUBLE THE NUMBERS NOT PERCENTAGE. WE'VE GROWN. THAT'S RIGHT. SO WE'VE GONE FROM WE WENT FROM 12.16% PARTICIPATION 2017 TO 19.71% WITH THIS LAST ONE ALMOST 20% PARTICIPATION.

NOT A BIG NUMBER TO BRAG ABOUT 20% PARTICIPATION, BUT FOR A LOCAL ELECTION THAT'S QUITE GOOD. ALWAYS FIND IT INTERESTING, THOUGH, THAT WE HAVE TO TRY TO ENCOURAGE FOLKS AT THE LOCAL LEVEL TO VOTE, GIVEN THE FACT THAT THE LOCAL ELECTIONS ARE THE MOST IMPACTFUL FOR ANYBODY YOUR SCHOOL BOARDS. YOUR LOCAL CITY COUNCIL, THE MAYOR THOSE OF THE DECISIONS THAT HAVE THE MOST IMPACT ON OUR DAY TO DAY LIVES AND GETTING FOLKS TO FOCUS ON LOCAL ELECTIONS IS THE HARDEST THING TO DO. BUT NONETHELESS, IT WAS A RELATIVE SUCCESS.

WE'RE EXCITED TO SEE PEOPLE ENGAGED IN. AND PARTICIPATE IN THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS. THAT'S HOW WE MAKE ALL OF THIS WORK. THAT'S HOW ALL OF THIS WORKS. SO THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS SO WE'RE HAPPY TO SEE THAT ENCOURAGED BY THOSE NUMBERS, THAT IS ALL I HAVE, I WILL STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS. OKAY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. WHAT? YOU'RE LEAVING ME, SOME NOTES PAUL. GOOD MORNING BOARD. GOOD MORNING, CHAIRMAN BOB MILLER. PETER A COUPLE OF THINGS I WOULD BE REMISS IF I DIDN'T SAY WOW, KUDOS TO THE CITY OF MCKINNEY FROM FROM THE BEGINNING. I KNOW CHAIRMAN LOT, MILLER. YOU WERE ON THE HOST COMMITTEE AND WE'RE VERY INTEGRAL. HEART AND BRING THE BYRON NELSON HERE WAS A VERY SUCCESSFUL EVENT. ALL THE PEOPLE WHO PULLED IT OFF THE CITY OF MCKINNEY ALL THE EMPLOYEES, IT WAS. IT WAS A GREAT EVENT. AND IF YOU IF YOU WEREN'T WATCHING. LIVE AND YOU'RE WATCHING FROM HOME. THE CAMERA SHOTS OF OUR COMMUNITY WAS JUST INCREDIBLE. SO IF YOU HAVE TIME TO GO BACK AND WATCH THAT YOU'LL FEEL VERY PROUD OF OUR OF OUR COMMUNITY AND. THE WAY WE LOOKED ON A NATIONAL INTERNATIONAL LEVEL, SO WAS AWESOME. BEEN CARRYING THAT FORWARD? WELL MAYBE NOT AS PRESTIGIOUS. THE BEGINNING CHAMBER GOLF TOURNAMENT WAS YESTERDAY. SO ANOTHER THANK YOU. AT M E. D. C FOR BEING ANOTHER SUPPORTER OF THAT. IT'S ONE OF OUR LARGEST FUNDRAISERS THAT HELP US UNDERWRITE ALL THE WORK THAT WE DO THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. SO WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT OF THAT AND BEING THERE YESTERDAY AND. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MAY HAVE WEATHERED THE STORM IN THE MORNING. I THOSE YOU STAYED LATER IN THE AFTERNOON, AND YOU'VE GOT A BEAUTIFUL AFTERNOON OF GOLF, SO THANK YOU AGAIN. A COUPLE OF THINGS. ALSO TOUCHED UPON WAS THE BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS. ESSO EVERY YEAR, THE CITY THE CHAMBER WERE HOST A SERVE MCKINNEY EVENT THAT HAS CHANGED THANKS LAST YEAR. THANKS TO COVER 19, AND SO WE TOOK IT VIRTUAL. AND SO THIS YEAR WE ARE WORKING THE CITY SECRETARY'S OFFICE. WE'LL DO

[00:10:01]

ANOTHER WEBINAR. THE TENTATIVE DATE RIGHT NOW IS JUNE 3RD. THE THEA UPSIDE TO DOING THAT, NOT IN PERSON AND DOING IT AS A WEAPON OURS THAT WE'RE ABLE TO RECORD THAT AND MORE PEOPLE. WE SAW MORE PEOPLE WATCHING IT THEN PEOPLE THAT WERE ABLE TO ATTEND. THIS YEAR WE WERE LAST YEAR WERE NOT ABLE TO INCORPORATE THE NONPROFITS BECAUSE THAT'S SOMETHING THAT WE ALSO LIKE TO PUT OUT THERE TO THE PUBLIC TO NOT ONLY SERVE ON OUR CITIES, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS, BUT ALSO ARE NONPROFITS AND GIVE HIM BACK IN. VOLUNTEERING AND THAT WAY OF SERVICE. SO THIS YEAR WHAT WE DID WAS WE'RE WE'RE IN A CAMPAIGN. WE ARE DOING A WEEKLY.

WE HAVE A WEBSITE, BUT WE HELL'S VIDEOS OF A LOT OF OUR NONPROFITS WHO ARE PARTICIPATING AND THEN ON A WEEKLY BASIS THIS MONTH, WE ARE SENDING OUT EMAILS HIGHLIGHTING SOME OF THOSE NONPROFITS. SO THAT WILL LEAD UP TO THE BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS, WEBINAR AND THEN THAT PAGE WILL LIVE ON FOR A WHILE ON BEN. WE'LL LOOK TO THE FUTURE. WHERE WILL INCORPORATE SOMETHING IN PERSON, BUT WE ACTUALLY LIKE HAVING SOME OF THE. LONGEVITY THAT WE CAN CREATE BY HAVING SOME OF THOSE VIRTUAL OPTIONS. THAT BEING SAID SOMETHING I'D LIKE TO JUST BRING TO YOUR ATTENTION. WE'RE WORKING ON BUILDING OUT, EH? A WEBSITE AGAIN A SILVER LINING OF COVERT 19 WAS EVERYTHING THAT WE DID THAT WAS VIRTUAL. WE RECORDED.

SO WE HAVE ALL OF THIS GREAT CONTENT THAT WE'RE NOW LOOKING AT. HOW DO WE. CATTLE CATEGORIZE IQ HAD A LOG IT I DO, I GUESS IS THE RIGHT WORD AND PUT FOR LACK OF BETTER WORD OF NETFLIX KIND OF AN ON DEMAND SERVICE FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO GO BACK AND REVIEW THAT CONTENT, SO. DEFINITELY HELPFUL ADVICE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES CONNECTING THEM TO THINGS LIKE STATE OF THE STATE OF THE CITY, WHERE THEY COULDN'T FIND OUT MORE ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY IN A WAY, SO WE'RE EXCITED TO BE ABLE TO ADD THAT TO OUR LIST OF OFFERINGS TO OUR BUSINESS COMMUNITY. ALSO ONE ALERT YOU TO OUR QUARTERLY LUNCHEON. JULY 26. IT IS THE STATE OF EDUCATION IN THE CITY OF MCKINNEY. AS YOU KNOW, WE HAVE SIX SCHOOL DISTRICT'S THAT THAT ARE IN OUR CITY LIMITS. WE DON'T HAVE SIX SUPERINTENDENTS JOINING US AND WE DO HAVE THREE. DR RICK MCDANIEL, OUR SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS HERE, IN MY HONESTY, AS WELL AS THE SUPERINTENDENTS AND. PROSPER IN FRISCO WILL BE SERVING ON A PANEL IT WILL BE IN PERSON.

WE'RE SO EXCITED TO HAVE OUR FIRST QUARTER LEGEND BACK IN PERSON AND MISSY BENDER WITH RAISE YOUR HAND TEXAS, WHICH IS AN ORGANIZATION OF FOUNDATION THAT SUPPORTS PUBLIC EDUCATION.

FUNDED BY THE H E BUTTS FOUNDATION. IF YOU'RE FAMILIAR WITH THE MAJOR BE ON DSA, SO THAT'S GONNA BE A GREAT I THINK LOTS OF GREAT INFORMATION. BOND, THEN LAST BUT NOT LEAST.

I THINK WE ARE SOMEWHAT READY TO ANNOUNCE AND WE ARE FINALIZING GETTING FUNDING IN PLACE TO BE ABLE TO DO A PETITION DRIVE OR A PACKAGE. LIQUOR ELECTION LOCAL OPTION ELECTION. THISTLES SOMETHING WE'VE BEEN WORKING ON FOR QUITE SOME TIME. AS YOU KNOW A LOT OF OURSELVES. TAX REVENUE GOES TO OUTSIDE OF OUR CITY LIMITS. SO WE'VE BEEN TRYING TONTO. WORK ON THIS FOR A WHILE, AND JONAS ALI ON A DIFFERENT HAT WAS PART OF OUR CHAMBER BOARD AS WE WERE WORKING ON THIS BECAUSE WE WANT TO KEEP THOSE CELLS TAX DOLLARS LOCAL THAT IMPACTS OBVIOUSLY.

YOUR YOUR BUDGET AS YOU'RE WORKING TO BRING COMPANIES AND CORPORATIONS HERE, SO WE WILL BE KEEPING YOU APPRISED AS THAT MOVES FORWARD, BUT WE WANT TO GET THIS DONE BEFORE THE NEXT GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION BECAUSE THAT. WILL IMPACT THE NUMBER OF SIGNATURES THAT WILL NEED TO GET THAT ON THE BALLOT SO MORE TO COME ON THAT FRONT BUT WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THAT IS MOVING FORWARD. THAT'LL STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS. JUST LISA, CAN YOU JUST MENTION WHAT THE ANNUAL ESTIMATED SALES TAX TO THE CITY WOULD BE? S SO YES, SO AND ALSO WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT? WHEN WE SAY LIQUOR ELECTION? OH THANK YOU. SO I SHOULD I SHOULD BE A LITTLE MORE CLEAR. THIS IS NOT IN SELLING LIQUOR ON ON EVERY STREET CORNER. WE'RE LOOKING AT.

PACKETS LIKE HERSELF. AS YOU KNOW, YOU CAN SELL BEER AND WINE IN THE CITY OF MCKINNEY.

BUT IF YOU WANT TO GO TO A TOTAL WINE OR A GOODY GOODY OR RESPECTS, YOU HAVE TO TRAVEL TO ALAN OR PLAY NOW. OR ANNA IN ORDER TO DO THAT, AND SO. BE THERE'S TWO DIFFERENT NUMBERS THAT WE LOOK AT. DR PERELMAN PUT TOGETHER A KIND OF AH, FORMULA. YOU KNOW, DR PYRAMIDS OF. WELL RENOWNED ECONOMIST THE STATE OF TEXAS AND THAT ESTIMATES HOW MUCH WE'RE ACTUALLY LOSING AND SELLS TAX EVERY YEAR. THERE'S ONE WHICH IS THE DIRECT SALES TAX BLEED, WHICH WOULD BE AT LEAST A MILLION DOLLARS AND YOU'RE GOING TO CHALLENGE MY MEMORY OF THIS, JOE. THANK YOU. HAPPY TOL ME SHARE WITH THE BOARD AND WE HAVE A PRESENTATION WE PUT

[00:15:03]

TOGETHER. THEN THERE'S THE ADDITIONAL BLEED, SO LET'S SAY SOMEBODY GOES DOWN TO LIKE A TOTAL WINE IN ALAN. THEY'RE GOING TO CONTINUE THEIR SHOPPING. THEY MIGHT STOP THAT THE TARGET. MIGHT RUN THROUGH THE CHICK FIL A BECAUSE THEY'RE BUILDING THEIR DAY OUT ON RUNNING THEIR ERRANDS IN THAT IN THAT CAPACITY, SO THERE'S ADDITIONAL THEMSELVES TAX BLEED THAT WE SEE AS WELL. THEN THERE'S ALSO THE PROPERTY TAX THAT ALSO GOES ALONG WITH THAT, OBVIOUSLY, OUR GOAL IS NOT TO HAVE A LIQUOR STORE ON EVERY CORNER. WE WANT TO BE A STRATEGIC AND HOW WE'RE HELPING WORK WITH SOME OF OUR PARTNERS THAT WE'VE BEEN TALKING TO SO THAT WE'RE NOT LOSING THE SALES TAX, BUT THAT WE'RE ALSO DOING IT IN A WAY THAT'S COMPETITIVE WITH OUR OTHER COMMUNITIES LIKE PLAYING ON ALAN ON NOW PROSPER ACTUALLY. THEY PASSED THEIR THEIR ELECTION. A SWELL SO THIS IS THIS IS NOT THIS WOULD NOT INCLUDE BARS OR. WHICH I THINK SOME OTHER CITIES HAVE HAVE INCORPORATED. THAT ANSWER YOUR QUESTION? YEAH HELP RELEASE TOO, AND I KNOW THAT THIS IS. PROVE A COUPLE YEARS OLD BECAUSE I TALK TO CINDY AND CREDIT. RETAIL LINKAGE ANALYSIS. OF PACKAGE LIQUOR SALES, AND THIS IS UNDATED ABOUT YEARS OLD, BUT IT WAS A PLUS. HOLD ON. HI. REFERENCING THE SECOND TIER OF NO, ABSOLUTELY. NOT ONLY THE PACKAGE LIQUOR SALES HONEY. ELSE THAT WOULD ENSUE FROM SOMEONE VISITING ALONE. THANK YOU. YEAH. JUST ON ANOTHER ISSUE WAS. TALK ABOUT LIQUOR MORE. NO, I JUST WANTED TO SAY PUB PUBLICLY FOR FEW PEOPLE THAT MIGHT BE WATCHING THIS.

YOU KNOW, BECAUSE I HAVEN'T SAID IT BEFORE. BUT, YOU KNOW, IT'S JUST. KUDOS TO THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND THE THINGS THAT YOU GUYS DO. ESPECIALLY DURING THIS PANDEMIC, BECAUSE IT WOULD BE SO EASY AND I'M SURE THERE ARE THOSE THAT KIND OF. ROLL BACK AND SLOW DOWN AND SAY, LET'S JUST WAIT UNTIL WE COME OUT OF THIS AND THE THINGS THAT I'VE NOW SEEN. FIRSTHAND LIKE, FOR EXAMPLE, WITH THE COMMUNITY WARS, THE THINGS YOU HAD TO DO TO GO THROUGH THE PUT ON A VIRTUAL EVENT AND HOW YOU'RE DOING THAT OVER AND OVER AGAIN, AND. I DON'T THINK PEOPLE IN THE CANDY REALIZED THE AMOUNT OF ADVOCACY THAT YOU GUYS PROVIDE. FOR US, UH, ON ISSUES IN AUSTIN AND THINGS LIKE THIS, THAT. YOU'RE HELPING TO TAKE THE LEAD ON THAT. I THINK A LOT OF CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS JUST KIND OF. NO, IT'S EASIER FOR THEM TO JUST STAY AWAY AND STAY IN THE BACKGROUND AND NOT LEAD OUT ON ISSUES AND. YOU KNOW, YOU'VE DONE THAT. AND THE CHAMBERS DONE THAT NOW FOR YEARS, AND YOU'RE SO I JUST REALLY APPRECIATE. EVERYTHING, BOTH AS A CHAMBER MEMBER, AND JUST AS A CITIZEN, WHAT YOU GUYS BRING TO THE CITY MECHANICS? I JUST WANTED TO THROW THAT OUT. THANK YOU. APPRECIATE THAT, AND THANK YOU FOR BEING IN CHAMBER MEMBER. AND IN ADDITION, I JUST HAVE TO SAY, I MEAN, THAT'S IT. THAT'S A BIG KUDOS TO OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS. THEY MADE A VERY CONSCIOUS EFFORT SEVERAL YEARS AGO TO LOOK AT HOW NOT ONLY ARE WE HELPING BUSINESSES THEM AND KENNY, BUT HOW ARE WE HELPING THE CITY OF MCKINNEY AS A WHOLE? BECAUSE BUSINESSES CAN'T THRIVE? RIGHT IT GOES HAND IN HAND TOGETHER, SO WE HAVE A VERY STRONG. WARD AND THANK YOU FOR MENTIONING SOME OF THE OTHER WORK THAT WE'VE DONE, AND I HAVE TO THINK. WHOEVER'S WATCHING MY STAFF BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T EXCELLENT TEAM WHO DO ALL THE DO ALL THE HARD WORK SO SOMETIMES I GET TO BE THE FACE, BUT THEY'RE THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE CURTAIN MAKING EVERYTHING HAPPENED. SO THANK YOU APPRECIATE THAT. ALL RIGHT. ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU SO MUCH. COMMUNITY VELMA CORPORATION.

WE'RE REALLY GLAD TO PARTICIPATE IN THAT. THERE WERE SEVERAL CITY EMPLOYEES, AMY ROSENTHAL, AND SURE, LITTLE CHARLOTTA BEST WHO WE WERE REALLY GLAD TO RECOGNIZE THERE WERE SO MANY GREAT GREAT. FOLKS WHO ARE MENTIONED THAT THIS YEAR AND WE WERE PLEASED TO PARTICIPATE, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS KIND OF A VIRTUAL VIRGIL ANTE IN PERSON. I THINK THERE WAS A GREAT TURNOUT, SO THANK YOU FOR POSING AND CHAMBER FOR BEING PART OF ALL OF THAT. WE WERE ALSO REALLY PLEASED TO HAVE A BOOTH TO REPRESENT M C D. C AND VISIT MCKENNEY AT THE RECENT GOLF TOURNAMENT. WE HANDED OUT A LOT OF SUNSCREEN, AND NEXT YEAR WE'LL HAVE COZIES BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONE THING WE DIDN'T HAVE FOR THOSE LONG NECK BEER, SO. NEXT YEAR THAT WILL GO ON OUR SWAG LIST. GLAD TO BE PART OF THAT, AND THE PART OF THE FUNDS OF THE M C. D. C HELPED TO FIND THIS PAST YEAR WAS FOR THE RETAIL COACH, SO WE'LL DO A CELLPHONE ANALYSIS OF THE KEY SITES WITHIN MCKINNEY. GOOD MORNING AND THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK. WHAT A GREAT WEEK LAST WEEK. WOW, THAT WAS REALLY AMAZING ON BY. JUST HAVE TO THINK I KNOW THERE'S A FEW PEOPLE IN THIS ONE ROOM WHO WERE AN INTRICATE PART OF BRINGING THAT TOURNAMENT HERE. UM WE HEARD NOTHING BUT GREAT THINGS THAT ARE BOOTH. UM JUST REALLY EXCITED. CAN'T WAIT TO CONTINUE THE PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BYRON NELSON AS WELL AS WITH THE SALESMANSHIP CLUB. THOSE RED PAINT GUYS WERE A LOT OF FUN AND JUST SMILING THE ENTIRE TIME. SO THAT WAS GREAT TO SEE. UM JUST WANT TOL LET YOU ALL KNOW WE ARE STARTING TO SEE SOME ARE IF PEACE THEREFORE 2022 2023, THE LEISURE MARKET STILL CONTINUES TO BE STRONG FOR US SPORTS AND WEDDINGS. THE COURTS JUST CONTACTED ME. THEY GOT ANOTHER, UM, TOURNAMENT. IT'S A INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR TENNIS TOURNAMENT THAT THAT WILL BE COMING SEPTEMBER 18 THROUGH THE 25TH. THE PICKLE BALL TOURNAMENT WAS A VERY SUCCESSFUL WE WERE ONLY ABLE TO PICK UP ABOUT 127 ROOMS. BUT WE KNOW THROUGH THE STR REPORT THAT THERE WAS A LOT OF OCCUPANCY. COMPARED TOMOVIC. BUT YOU KNOW, THE NUMBERS WERE GOOD, EH? SO WE'RE EXCITED ABOUT THAT WE HAD ALSO ADVERTISED. I HAD SPOKE A FEW MONTHS BACK ON IN THE A B, A BUS TOUR MAGAZINE AND WE WERE CONTACTED. BUY IT ACTUAL BUS TOUR OPERATOR AND SHE'S BRINGING A MYSTERY TOUR HERE IN SEPTEMBER AS WELL. SO WE KNOW THAT ADVERTISING IS WORKING. THE CHAMBER AWARDS WAS ALSO JUST A REALLY NEAT UM. [Consider/Discuss MEDC Monthly Organizational Report]

DISCUSS M E. D. C MONTHLY ORGANIZATIONAL REPORT. THANK YOU, MR CHAIRMAN. I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING IN ADDITION TO ADD TO THE MONTHLY REPORT, BUT I WOULD LIKE TOE MAKE A FEW ADDITIONAL COMMENTS. WE HAD A REALLY BUSY MONTH. I GUESS IT'S MY TURN TO BEAT THE BYRON DRUM. I JUST WANNA. A LOT OF HARD WORK WENT INTO. OUR BOOTS AND OUR IN OUR SUITE AT THE BYRON AND I'D REALLY LIKE TO THANK THE IMMEDIACY STAFF SPECIFICALLY FOR ALL OF THE INCREDIBLE WORK THEY PUT IN. LOT LIKE LISA SAID. YOU KNOW, THEY ARE THE ONES THAT DO ALL THE HEAVY LIFTING BEHIND THE SCENES TOE. MAKE THAT EVENT HAPPEN. SO HATS OFF TO M E D. C STAFF. YOU GUYS DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB OF EXECUTING THAT AND. WE WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON IT TO IMPROVE ON IT EVERY YEAR, THOUGH WE'RE NOT GONNA SETTLE FOR THE FOR THIS, YOU'RE GONNA MAKE IT BIGGER AND BETTER AGAIN NEXT YEAR, SO. I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT FOUR YEARS OF THAT TOURNAMENT, BUT UP. CDC STAFF THINK. ALSO WE HAD THE KAIZEN GROUNDBREAKING THIS PAST MONTH.

I KNOW. USUALLY OUR REPORT IS ONE MONTH IN ARREARS. BUT THERE'S BEEN A LOT OF REALLY EXCITING STUFF THAT'S HAPPENED THIS MUCH. HIS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION, SO REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THE CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU KNOW DEREK COVERS AND HIS TEAM WITH COUSIN CRAIG INTERNATIONAL IN THAT PARTNERSHIP TOGETHER. THEN OF COURSE, YOU KNOW IT WAS AN EXCITING DAY TO THROW SOME DIRT AROUND FOR NEW 200,000 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING THAT'S COMING TO ME, KENNY. ON THEN. CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN. TOLO QUE V P AND MY TELE MEDICINE OR TWO WINNERS AT THE CHAMBER AWARDS THIS YEAR FOR OUR BUSINESS EXPANSION OF ORDER IN A NEW CORPORATE AWARD. REALLY PROUD TO HAVE BOTH THOSE BUSINESSES CALLING ME KENNY HOME AND HOPEFULLY THEY CONTINUE TO GROW HERE. THAT'S ALL I HAD CONDITION. THANK YOU. MISSIONS.

[Consider/Discuss MEDC Monthly Metrics Dashboard Report]

WHEN HE WENT UP 432. INSTEAD OF DISCUSSING MEDIA SEMEN THING. METRICS DASHBOARD REPORT. SO WE'RE STILL CONTINUING TO DO REALLY GREAT. HOPEFULLY WE WILL START PUTTING NUMBERS IN THOSE COMMUNITY FORUMS STORE AND WE ACTUALLY DO HAVE. NUMBERS THE FAMILIARIZATION TOURS WILL SHOW NUMBERS NEXT YEAR BECAUSE THE SEVERAL GROUPS THAT WE BROUGHT IN FOR THE PYRE AND WE DID FAMILIARIZATION TOWARDS WITH. AND SO WE WILL FINALLY HAVE SOME NUMBERS TO SHOW THEIR BUTT. OF COURSE, WEBSITE TRAFFIC. I THINK WE'LL WE'LL SHOW A BIG INCREASE IN THAT NEXT MONTH WHEN WE GET OUR NUMBERS BECAUSE I'M SURE LOTS OF PEOPLE WERE CHECKING THINGS OUT FROM THE NATIONAL COVERAGE THAT WE JUST HAD. FOR THE TOURNAMENT, BUT PROJECT PIPELINE IS STILL STRONG WHERE WE'RE DOING REALLY WELL. CAPITAL INVESTMENT. WE'RE ALMOST OUT OF WHAT WE ACHIEVED THE LAST YEAR THIS YEAR. OUR CURRENTLY SITTING IN AROUND 2 53 MILLION. OH THAT'S OUR TARGET THIS YEAR, BUT WE'RE CURRENTLY ALMOST HALFWAY THERE FOR WHICH IS GREAT. WE'RE NOT EVEN HAPPEN TO THE YEAR YET. S O. THINGS GOING LAND, WHICH IS GREAT. AWESOME. QUESTIONS. VERY MUCH. OKAY, THAT BRINGS US BACK TO PUBLIC COMMENTS AGAIN. YOU

[PUBLIC COMMENTS REGARDING MATTERS NOT ON THE AGENDA]

MAY LIKE TO TALK TO US. OKAY? RIGHT? FINE. YEAH. REMEMBER COMMENTS. I WANT TO SAY A
