OBVIOUSLY, OVER THE SUMMER AS WE. READY TO MOVE INTO THE FALL AND BUDGETS AND I WILL SAY THAT GOES OUT THERE WATCHING THE MEETING. AS YOU MAY OR MAY NOT. NO BOARD APPOINTMENTS ARE COMING UP AND. A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE IN THE CITY OF MCKINNEY. ABOUT VARIOUS SPORTS, NOT JUST IN MCKINNEY ECONOMIC DEVELOPED CORPORATION BOARD OTHER BOARDS AS WELL. SO IF YOU HAVE AN INTEREST THERE IS AN APPLICATION FORM THAT YOU CAN FILL UP ONLINE. SUBMIT THAT THE DEADLINE MAY HAVE ALREADY PASSED. UP. WELL THERE'S NEXT YEAR SO BUT ANYWAY, THAT'S COMING UP IN AUGUST. AND FROM THERE. WE HAVE PAUL GRAHAM, STEVE MCKINNEY. GOOD MORNING, MR CHAIRMAN. MEMBERS OF THE BOARD. MR PRESIDENT. MY NAME IS PAUL GRAHAM CITY MANAGER. JUST A COUPLE OF UPDATES FOR YOU. I RETURN FOR VACATION, SO I DON'T HAVE, UH, TOO MUCH TO SHARE WITH YOU. AS I GET MY BEARINGS. WE WERE DOWN IN MEXICO AND IT WAS VERY HOT AND VERY HUMID.

BUT VERY NICE SITTING IN THE POOL AND CHILLING OUT A LITTLE BIT, BUT ANYWAY, UM IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK. WE DO HAVE. STAFF OF COURSE, HAS BEEN WORKING FOR QUITE A WHILE ON A NEW CODE DEVELOPMENT. WE ARE UPDATING OUR DEVELOPMENT CODES. OF COURSE, THAT'S GERMANE TO YOU BECAUSE. THE PERCEPTION OF HOW WE DO HOW IT IS TO DO BUSINESS IN MCKINNEY, OF COURSE, IS REALITY IN THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY WORLD IN THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY, AND OUR STAFF HAS BEEN SPENDING AN AWFUL LOT OF TIME WORKING ON THAT, IN FACT, WE'RE GETTING TO THE POINT NOW WHERE WE ARE STARTING TO HAVE A SERIES OF JOINT MEETINGS WITH RP NZ WITH THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO REVIEW SOME OF THOSE MAJOR CHANGES. WE'RE GOING TO HAVE PROBABLY FOUR MEETINGS WITH PNC. IN THE COMING MONTHS. THE INTENT IS TO HAVE OUR NEW DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY THE END OF THIS CALENDAR YEAR. IF POSSIBLE. THAT'S OUR THAT'S OUR GOAL. THAT'S OUR AIM. IT'S BEEN MULTI YEAR PROGRAM PRETTY MUCH SINCE I STARTED. I KNOW WE'VE BEEN WORKING ON. WE HAD TO GET OUR. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IN PLACE. AND THEN WHEN YOUR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN THAT FOLLOWS THAT AS YOUR ZONING ORDINANCE IN EUROPE DATED REGULATIONS, SO IT HAS BEEN A LABOR OF LOVE WITH OUR STAFF, CERTAINLY, BUT LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THAT, AND IT WILL. CERTAINLY WE'RE CONFIDENT IT'S GOING TO MAKE THINGS A LOT CLEARER. UM, FOR IT MAY NOT GIVE THE SATISFACTION THAT SOME FOLKS IN THE DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY MAY ONE ON VARIOUS MATTERS, BUT IF IT'S CLEARER. AND IT'S EASIER TO UNDERSTAND AND SIMPLE AND SAVES TIME. THAT'S A THAT'S VALUABLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORLD. THAT'S THE FEEDBACK WE GET FROM THEM, SO WE'RE VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT. THE OTHER THING I WOULD ADD. IS THAT ON AUGUST 13TH, WE WILL BE PRESENTING OUR BUDGET RIGHT HERE IN THIS ROOM. WE WILL PRESENT THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR BUDGET FISCAL YEAR 21 22 BUDGET TO THE CITY COUNCIL. AND IT'S COMING TOGETHER NICELY. WE ARE KIND OF GOING THROUGH AS I MENTIONED BEFORE WE HAD $27 MILLION OF SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET REQUEST. THESE ARE BASICALLY ADDITIONAL BUDGET ITEMS AND IN ADDITION TO THE BASELINE, AND WE HAD ABOUT. SIX OR $7 MILLION TO WORK WITH, SO WE HAD TO GO THROUGH THE UNENVIABLE TASK OF CALLING THAT LIST DOWN, BUT THAT'S HOW IT IS EVERY YEAR.

AND WE WILL PRESS AHEAD BUT THAT'S NEARLY DONE AND WE WILL BE PRESENTING OUR BUDGET
