NO, PLEASE ON UPDATE. COORDINATE AND UPDATES 21 DAD'S 1158. STARTING WITH THE CHAIRMAN. NOTE THAT I DON'T HAVE ANY EVERYTHING SAY OTHER THAN YOU KNOW. HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYBODY. THIS IS OUR LAST MEETING OF THE YEAR AND LOOK FORWARD IN JANUARY OF DRIVING FORWARD AND. WE GET PLANT HERE AND OUR EXECUTIVE SESSION. WILL GO INTO THE CITY OF MCKINNEY, MR GRIMES. GOOD MORNING, MR CHAIRMAN, MR PRESIDENT. MEMBERS OF THE BOARD. MY NAME IS PAUL GRAHAM CITY MANAGER. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU. HAPPY NEW YEAR WHEN I MAKE SURE I SAY THAT BEFORE I FORGET MY OTHER COMMENTS. IT'S BEEN A. BEEN A LONG YEAR. A LOT OF THINGS GOT DONE. I WAS MENTIONING THE OTHER DAY. I GUESS WE HAD A VACCINATION HUBS SOMETIME THIS YEAR. IT SEEMS LIKE FIVE YEARS AGO THAT WE ACTUALLY HAD A VACCINE HUB EARLIER THIS YEAR.

THAT'S HOW TIME HAS FLOWN THIS YEAR AND ALL THE DIFFERENT THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN DONE ANYWAY. JUST A COUPLE OF ITEMS TO UPDATE YOU ON TONIGHT AT THE THIS AFTERNOON. I SHOULD SAY IT OUR WORK SESSION. WE HAVE A COUPLE OF ITEMS THAT MAY BE OF INTEREST TO YOU. ONE OF THEM IS, UM. UPDATE ON DISCUSSION CONTINUING DISCUSSION ON OUR PARKLAND DEDICATION ORDINANCE.

WE HAVE PARKLAND. DEDICATION IS REQUIRED AS PART OF COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND I'M SORRY RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT. AND THOSE GET UPDATED FROM TIME TO TIME. SO UM MAJKOWSKI, DIRECTOR KOWSKI HAS BEEN STUDYING THIS. WE'VE COME BACK TO THE COUNCIL A COUPLE OF TIMES TONIGHT. WE'RE GOING TO CONTINUE THAT CONVERSATION. BUT THAT HAS SOME IMPACT ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

WHEN YOU THINK OF WHEN RESIDENTIAL BUILDERS COME IN, AND THEY BUILD THEY NEED TO MAKE CERTAIN DEDICATION FOR PARKLAND. AND WE WANNA MAKE SURE THAT IT'S THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF DEDICATION AND THAT WE'RE ACTUALLY ALLOCATING. FAIRLY THE OBLIGATION TO MAKE PARKLAND ADDED CAPACITY, OR I SHOULD SAY, ADDED DEMAND OR PARK SO THAT WE CAN BE ABLE TO BUILD THE CAPACITY. OFTENTIMES COMMUNITIES WILL BOND IT OUT AND BUILD A PARKS. BUT YOU CAN GET A LOT OF THAT DEDICATION UPFRONT WHEN THE DEVELOPERS COME IN, AND SO WE TRY TO MAKE SURE THAT IT'S CALIBRATED. IT'S REALLY VERY MUCH A POLITICAL DECISION ON HOW ARE WE GOING TO ALLOCATE THOSE? OBLIGATIONS SO THAT'S AN INTERESTING POLICY CONVERSATION THAT WILL BE AT WORK SESSION TODAY. WE ALSO HAVE. DISCUSSION WE'RE GOING TO HAVE ON, UM, THAT WE'RE GOING TO INTRODUCE THE CONCEPT OF A COMMUNITY LAND TRUST TO THE CITY COUNCIL. THIS IS THE INITIAL CONVERSATION WE EXPECT THERE WILL BE SEVERAL MORE. SUBSEQUENT TO THIS BEFORE MAKING ANY ULTIMATELY DECISIONS . BUT A COMMUNITY LAND TRUST IS GOING TO BE A KEY STRATEGY WE THINK TOWARD, UM UM, NEIGHBORHOOD PRESERVATION ON THE EAST SIDE OF MCKINNEY WITH AS WE REDEVELOP THAT AREA. THERE ALSO IS A STRATEGY FOR PUTTING IN PLACE SOME TOOLS FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING, DEVELOPMENT, AFFORDABLE AND WORKFORCE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT. SO THAT IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN THAT THAT INTRIGUES YOU CONSIDER IT A TEASER. YOU CAN DIAL IN TUNE IN TODAY AT WORK SESSION, THE COUNCIL WILL BE DELIBERATING THAT, UM. OTHER THAN THAT, THAT IS ALL I HAVE. TODAY. I JUST WANTED TO WISH YOU ALL HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS AND I WILL STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS.

THANK YOU, OKAY. YES. NEXT. WE HAVE ANYBODY FROM THE CHAMBER. MOVING ON. WE'LL HAVE A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. CINDY. MORNING, CINDI. MR CHAIRMAN, MR . PRESIDENT, MEMBERS OF THE

[00:05:12]

BOARD. GOOD MORNING THERE. I JUST WANTED TO HIGHLIGHT A COUPLE OF THINGS FROM THE REPORT THAT WAS ATTACHED TO THE AGENDA ITEM LAST WEEK AT OUR MEETING. THE CDC BOARD HEARD PRESENTATIONS FROM 13 APPLICANTS FOR PROMOTIONAL AND COMMUNITY EVENT GRANTS. UM GREAT PRESENTATIONS THAT THE EXCITING THING ABOUT THIS GROUP IS OF THE 13. THERE ARE FIVE THAT ARE FIRST TIME APPLICANTS, SO THAT'S SOMETHING THAT THE BOARD ALWAYSE CHALLENGE WILL BE. WE HAVE 100,000 TO GRANT AND ABOUT 132,000 AND REQUESTS SO SUBCOMMITTEE WILL BE MEETING IN EARLY JANUARY, AND BOARD ACTION WILL BE SCHEDULED NEXT MONTH. WE'RE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FIRST ROUND OF PROJECT GRANTS THROUGH DECEMBER. 31ST. SO I HAVE HAD CONVERSATIONS WITH SEVERAL GROUPS ABOUT THEIR INTENT TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION SO WE WILL SEE WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS AT THE END OF THIS MONTH. AND THEN THE LAST THING I MENTIONED IS CDC ACCEPTS NOMINATIONS FOR THE ANNUAL QUALITY OF LIFE AWARD. AND WE ARE DOING SO THROUGH JANUARY, 15TH WE AWARD TO ONE TO AN INDIVIDUAL AND ONE TO AN ORGANIZATION, SO WE'VE BEEN PUTTING INFORMATION IN THE WEEKLY E NEWSLETTER AND ALSO ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE. BUT IF YOU ALL HAVE. SOMEBODY OR AN ORGANIZATION THAT YOU THINK WOULD BE GOOD FOR CONSIDERATION . WE'RE ACCEPTING THOSE THROUGH JANUARY 15TH. AND THE LAST THING IS JUST KIND OF WISH YOU ALL A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR AND LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU IN 2022, WHICH SOUNDS REALLY WEIRD TO SAY. AND I'M HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. I THOUGHT WE HAD A BED TO LIVE MICHIGAN ONE THAT YOU WOULD WEAR YOUR MICHIGAN GEAR, NOT YOUR OHIO STATE LOOKING COLORS I'M HEARING TODAY. I TOLD YOU I DID WORK FOR THEM AFTER THAT. THANK YOU AND EXTENDING. NEXT. WE HAVE A VISIT A KIDNEY. GOOD MORNING. HOW ARE YOU? THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK THIS MORNING, SO WE HAD A LITTLE FOOTBALL GAME THIS WEEKEND AND FAIR STATE, LITERALLY A LUBRICATED VALDOSTA STATE. THE SCORE WAS 58 TO 17. WE HAD A LOT OF FUN KICKED IT OFF WITH TOPS. WE HAD TACOS, TEQUILA AND SERVICE. JUST AN AMAZING EVENT.

AND I JUST WANT TO THANK AM I S D. FIRE IN PD, THE CITY OF MCKINNEY, M C. D. C UM FOR THEIR PARTNERSHIP. I HOPE YOU ALL GOT TO COME TO THE GAME. I ALSO WANTED TO LET YOU ALL KNOW THAT I RECEIVED A LINEUP FOR D C, WHICH WILL BE JULY 26TH. WE WILL HAVE. REALLY SOME GREAT CORES.

SO UM, WE HAVE SOME T SHIRTS THAT WE CAME IN WITH OUR NEW BRANDING. AND I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU ALL KNOW, BUT IF YOU ALL NEED SOME GIFTS FOR CHRISTMAS, STILL SOME STOCKING STUFFERS OR WHAT HAVE YOU? THE T SHIRTS ARE 16 AND THE SWEATSHIRTS ARE 36. ARE FREE. HISTORIC WALKING TOWARDS WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE PLACE. SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU VISIT OUR WEBSITE. UH, VISIT MCKINNEY DOT COM. ALSO WANT TO LET YOU ALL KNOW THAT THE INTERIM IZMERY WOODARD AND SHE IS OUR REMOTE SALES PERSON OUT OF THE AUSTIN AREA AND JUST WANT TO WISH EVERYONE IN VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR. THE NEW YORK GOOD LUCK.

GOOD LUCK LUCK. HAVE FUN. YEAH MR CHAIRMAN OF IF I MIGHT, UH, INDEEDY, I'VE BEEN SITTING UP HERE FOR A LONG TIME. AS PEOPLE HAVE REMINDED ME, BUT BUT BUT I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTNERSHIP. OVER THE YEARS. YOUR ATTENDANCE AT OUR MEETING HAS BEEN AS REGULAR AS THE SUN COMING UP EVERY MORNING AND WE REALLY APPRECIATE I REALLY DID. AND I DO. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO MCKINNEY AND ALSO I MEAN YOU YOU ARE ONE OF OUR HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MEETING OF IT. WE ALWAYS ENJOYED LEO. FIGURE IT OUT AND LIKE, LISTEN TO WHAT'S COMING TO MCKINNEY NOW, SO IT'S A. THE GREAT PLEASURE HAVING YOU HAVING WITH US. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I APPRECIATE THAT. THANKS. GRAB SOMETHING, MR CHAIRMAN AS WELL. I APOLOGIZE FROM OUT OF ORDER. I WANTED TO JUST ALSO PUBLICLY. THANKS, DEEDEE AGAIN, YOU KNOW WE HAD SHE CIRCULATED YESTERDAY A CLIP OF VIDEO AS A COACH FROM FERRIS STATE, DOING HIS POST GAME INTERVIEW. AND HE WAS, OF COURSE, REFLECTING ON THE SEASON AND ALL THIS AND HE ACTUALLY WAS SO IMPACTED BY HOW MCKINNEY

[00:10:05]

RECEIVED THEIR TEAMS AND HE SAID EVEN BACK IN 2018 REMEMBER, THEY WERE HERE. THIS WAS THE SAME TWO TEAMS. IN THE FIRST GAME WE HOSTED IN 2018. AND HE SAID, YOU KNOW, WE HAD 18 LIKE YOU, SAID 18 OR 19 PLAYERS THAT WERE HERE BEFORE. AND HE SAID BOTH TIMES, HE SAID IT WAS AMAZING HOW GOOD OF A JOB MCKINNEY DID AND HOSTING THE TOURNAMENT, MAKING THEM FEEL WELCOME. AND THAT REALLY IN MANY RESPECTS GOES TO DEDE, AND I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT SHE'S PROBABLY RECOGNIZED FOR THAT. SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB. UM WE'RE GOING TO MISS HER. SHE'S WORKED AWFULLY HARD. SHE'S EARNED IT. I THINK SHE'S GOT SOME PLANS THAT SHE WANTS TO DO . AND I I'M JEALOUS. I MUST ADMIT, HOW CAN THEY GET IT ENTAILS SPENDING SOME EXTENDED TIME IN MEXICO, RIGHT? SO THAT'S AWESOME. ANYWAY SHE REALLY DOES DESERVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE HARD WORK THEY DID. YOU KNOW, NOBODY ELSE WAS DOING IT TO ME. THEY WERE ORGANIZING THIS AND GETTING IT TOGETHER. AND THEY REALLY REALLY PRESENTED MCKINNEY. WELL, SO THANKS. THANK YOU. NEXT REGION ITEM. WE HAVE 21-1159

[Consider/Discuss MEDC Monthly Organizational Report]

CONSIDERED DISCUSSED, AND BDC MONTHLY ORGANIZATION REPORT. YOU HAVE TO THINK IT WAS CHAIRMAN. I DON'T REALLY HAVE ANYTHING. IN ADDITION TO ADD TO THE REPORT, BUT DISAPPOINTED. SOME HIGHLIGHTS. UM WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE DID HIRE A NEW GENTLEMAN FOR OUR SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PRESIDENT POSITION HE'LL BE STARTING JANUARY 10TH. SURE IF HE'S ANNOUNCED IT YET, SO WE'LL JUST WAIT. WE'LL INTRODUCE HIM IN JANUARY, BUT I KNOW A COUPLE OF YOU. BOARD MEMBERS DID A KIND OF A FINAL INTERVIEW WITH IN AND HE'S AN EXCEPTIONAL GENTLEMEN, AND I THINK HE'S GOING TO BE A GREAT ADDITION TO OUR STAFFS OR EXCITED TO INTRODUCE HIM TO YOU NEXT MONTH. OTHER THAN THAT. WANT TO MAKE SURE WHICH THE BORDER HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR. I'VE BEEN ANSWERING QUESTIONS. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THEM NEXT MONTH. GREAT TO

[Consider/Discuss MEDC Monthly Metrics Dashboard Report]

INTRODUCE THEM TO EVERYBODY ELSE THAT WAY. SECTION 21-1160 CONSIDER DISCUSSED AND BBC MONTHLY METRIC PASSPORT REPORT. METRICS IS WE AGAIN? WE'RE. STILL TABULATING ONLY REALLY THING WE HAVEN'T EXCELLED IN AS YOU CAN SEE IS, OF COURSE, THE BEERY VISITS BECAUSE I THINK WE AGAIN WE DISCUSSED THIS IN OUR BORDER TREAT LAST MONTH. I THINK WE WILL. WE OVERSHOT A LITTLE BIT FOR THE TARGET FOR THAT, BUT , UM, THE 40 BUSINESS WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO REPRESENT PRETTY MUCH THIS LAST SIX MONTHS. SO I THINK MADISON HAS DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB AND RETOOLING. R B R E PROGRAM HAS ONLY BE EVERY MANAGER AND SHE'S GOT SOME EXCITING THINGS PLANNED FOR NEXT YEAR. SOME NEW INITIATIVES SOME SOME NEW EVENTS FOR BUSINESS RETENTION THAT I THINK ARE REALLY GOING TO SHOOT THAT NUMBER UP AND JUST. REALLY RETAIL ARE VERY PROGRAM AS IT IS , AND THEN WE ARE NOW JUST TABULATING THE WE DID SEND OUT THE KEY FOUR NEWSLETTER. I BELIEVE LAST WEEK SO WE'RE STILL TABULATING THE RESULTS ON THAT. BUT EVERYTHING ELSE YOU CAN SEE WHERE AND OF COURSE, THE COMMUNITY FORUMS. WE WERE ABLE TO SQUEAK ONE IN. UM BUT THEN YOU KNOW, WITH RENEWED PUBLIC HEALTH. STRENGTHS WE HAD TO CANCEL OUR LAST ONE. BUT WE WILL WE HAVE A FULL SCHEDULE OF PUBLIC EVENTS. AND COMMUNITY FORUMS PLAYING FOR NEXT YEAR.

HOPEFULLY, WE'LL BE ABLE TO EXECUTE ON US. AND PRETTY QUESTIONS. QUESTIONS WILL MOVE

[Consider/Discuss/Act on October 2021 Financials]

ON TO REGULAR URGENT ITEMS HERE. FIRST WE'RE GONNA SECTION 21-1161 DISCUSSION OF THE MONTHLY OCTOBER FINANCIALS. GOOD MORNING TRANSMITTER. FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE MANAGER. UM PAPERS TOGETHER. HAPPY HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON TO YOU ALL AND FINANCE RIGHT NOW WE'RE GOING TO OUR AUDIT SEASON. THIS IS TYPICALLY ARE BUSY PERIODS, SO THEY WERE AUDITORS WERE HERE THESE LAST TWO WEEKS. THEY'RE NOT HERE THIS WEEK. AT THE NEXT WEEK, THEY'LL BE BACK. SO. WHAT DOES THAT LOOK LIKE? FOR YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU ALL YOUR SPINAL FISCAL YEAR, 21 NUMBERS AFTER THE OTHERS HAVE AUDITED EVERYTHING AND WORTH PROGRESSIVE FAIRLY SMOOTHLY WITH THAT, AND TIMELINE IS TO TAKE THAT THE COUNCIL THE BEGINNING OF FEBRUARY. AND AT THAT TIME OR PROBABLY CLOSE TO THAT TIME, I'LL COME BACK TO YOU. WITH THE FINAL FISCAL YEAR . 21 NUMBERS YOU CAN SEE HOW IT ENDED UP. SO WE HAVE TWO MONTHS OF FINANCIALS TO START. THESE ARE THE FIRST TWO MONTHS OF FISCAL YEAR 22 NOW AND IF I START OFF WITH OCTOBER. WE HAVE 1.5 MILLION IN REVENUE. AND WE HAD 420,000 AND IT'S BEEN EXPENDITURES. WHICH RESULTED IN NET SURPLUS OF $1 MILLION AND THAT'S TYPICALLY HOUSE ARE SOLVED WITH ROLLOVER POS AND EVERYTHING FOR THE NEW MONTH OF THE FISCAL YEAR, SO IT TAKES IT TAKES A COUPLE YOU KNOW, THREE WEEKS OR SO TO GET EVERYTHING ROLLING. UM AND WE'RE LOOKING AT SALES TAX NUMBERS FOR OCTOBER. CONCERN. THAT IS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST, AND WE SAW A 19.3% INCREASE, AND WE TYPICALLY FILTER OUT LIKE THERE'S ANY

[00:15:02]

AUDIT COLLECTIONS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. AND OBVIOUSLY THERE'S INFLATION. THAT IS A BIG IN.

THINK I'M GOING ON RIGHT NOW. BUT BESIDES THAT THAT WAS ALL TRUE. THERE'S NO AUDIT COLLECTIONS. THERE WAS THE SAME AS LAST YEAR. THERE'S NO COMPANIES PAYING EARLIER.

ANYTHING LIKE THAT. SO, UM HOWEVER MUCH ON A FACTOR FOR INFLATION. YOU KNOW, SOME PEOPLE ARE GOING UP TO FIVE OR 6% BUT STILL 19.3% INCREASE OVER LAST YEAR'S REALLY SOLID TO START OFF THE FISCAL YEAR. UM NOW I'M GOING TO MOVE OVER TO NOVEMBER FINANCIALS. AND SO THERE'S A WANTED TO TALK ABOUT. SO IN REVENUES. WE SAW 1.7 MILLION BUT IN EXPENDITURES RESEARCH SHOWING 11.1 MILLION AND REALLY, THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE PARKING GARAGE FOR LAST YEAR THAT WE ACTUALLY DID PAY IT LAST YEAR, BUT IT WAS STILL AN ESCROW AT THE END OF THE YEAR, SO WE WEREN'T ABLE TO EXPENSE IT. SO WE WENT AHEAD AND EXPENSIVE THIS YEAR WITH ANTICIPATION THAT IT'S GOING TO BE. UM USED UP THIS YEAR SO THAT ANOTHER YEAR IF IT'S STILL AN ESCROW, THEN WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO DO THE SAME THING WE DID THIS YEAR. BUT BEING ON THE CURL BASIS IS THAT'S WHY THAT'S SHOWING UP RIGHT NOW. WE ACTUALLY DID NOT PAY THAT OUT THIS MONTH. UM. SO THAT'S WHY THAT LOOKS A LITTLE ODD. ALARM AND MOVE OVER TO SALES TAX NOW FOR NOVEMBER. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER CELLS AND WE SAW 14.4% INCREASE. ALAN SAUNDERS 17.8% INCREASE FRISCO SAW 25.5% INCREASE AND PLANO SAW 11.3% INCREASE AND IF WE'RE LOOKING THROUGH THE FIRST TWO MONTHS SO FAR. WE'RE ALL TRAINING PRETTY CLOSE TOGETHER. FRISCO IS A LITTLE BIT HIGHER, BUT THEY WERE KIND OF HIT A LITTLE BIT HARDER LAST YEAR FROM COVID AND STUFF LIKE THAT THEY'RE KIND OF GETTING BACK TO THEIR NORMAL LEVELS. WE START STILL SAW AN INCREASE LAST YEAR, SO STILL SITTING IN THE 16% BUT WE'RE RIGHT ALONG WITH ALLEN AND PLANO, SO IT SEEMS LIKE IT'S CONSISTENT ACROSS THE CITY OF SISTER CITIES. AND ALL NOTES SO AS OF RIGHT NOW, THEY'RE NOT FINAL NUMBERS, BUT FOR PHYSICAL YEAR 21 WE BUDGETED $16.98 MILLION IN REVENUE IS WHAT ARE REVISED BUDGET WAS AROUND JULY OR SO. AND RIGHT NOW WE'RE ANTICIPATING IT TO BE 18.3 MILLION, SO THAT WOULD RESULT IN A LIKE 1.4 MILLION ROLLING IN DEALS FUND BALANCE, AND I'LL HAVE US FINAL FUND BALANCE WHEN I COME BACK TO YOU ON A MONTH OR SO, BUT. RIGHT NOW. IT LOOKS LIKE THERE'S $1.4 MILLION AND ACCESS SALES TAX REVENUE, THEY'LL BE ROLLING INTO FUND BALANCE AT THAT TIME. I'M IN. I'LL STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS. YES IT'S A LOT OF GOOD NEWS. IT IS TRENDING THAT WAY, SO THAT'S GOOD. I'M A REAL 21-1161 AND 21-1162 TOGETHER. THANK YOU HAVE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE FINANCIALS FOR ANOTHER. I MOVED TO ACCEPT AS PRESENTED. ELSE.

SECOND. THINK ABOUT MR SEVERE.

OF COMMERCE AWARDS BASED ON THE NOMINATIONS AND HOW WE DID THISR PACKAGE BOARD MEMBERS WE JUST LAID ON A B. FOR THE B R E ENCORE WIRE AWARD NOMINATIONS AND THEN THE NEW CORPORATE BUSINESS AWARD NOMINATIONS. WE HAVE A BABY. OR C SO WANT TO REVEAL HIM FOR A SECOND. AND THEN UM. IF THERE'S ANY DISCUSSION, LET'S START WITH THE ENCORE WIRE AWARD NOMINATION. MR CHAIRMAN, I WOULD I WOULD SUPPORT. CANDIDATE A FOR THAT AWARD. I WOULD AGREE WITH THAT.

YEAH. IT'S ON THE TABLE. ANYBODY DISAGREE. TAKE A HAND OF CANADA. WE COULD DO THAT. YEAH. FAVORITE A HE WILL BE OUR NOMINATION FOR TO REQUIRE ENCORE. COURT. THE NEW CORPORATE BUSINESS AWARD NOMINATIONS AND WE HAVE A BEER. C I. QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS ON THAT. HEALTHY. YOU HAVE A FAVOR.

I LIKE TO BE IN OUR DISCUSSION. I'M IN FAVOR OF B ALSO I'LL SUPPORT BE FRANK. A PERSON LIKE A BEING A NEW BUSINESS TO NOT ONLY THE CITY BUT ALSO. IN ITS EMPHASIS. IT'S ENCOURAGING TO HAVE SOMEBODY THAT'S. STARTED SOMETHING NEW, BUT THAT'S JUST MY OPINION. I THINK I MEAN, I THINK WE JUST CAN'T. BUT SOME PEOPLE MIGHT CALL IT DELIGHTFUL DILEMMA HERE. SURE YEAH. I MEAN, THESE ARE ALL THESE. ALL ANY OF THESE NOMINEES ARE CERTAINLY. TERRIFIC SO WE'RE VERY FORTUNATE THAT RESPECT BUT. I'M GAME VOTING, BERNIE. I WAS JUST LOOKING, YOU KNOW, ACTING FROM THE STANDPOINT. THINK ONE'S A GOOD CATALYST TO THE CITY AS WELL. SO YEAH. ALRIGHT, SO ALL IN FAVOR B. OF WOMEN. WE'RE GOING NOMINATION BE AND AGAIN. THESE ARE THE CHAMBER AWARDS.

THERE WILL BE. DON'T HAVE THE DATE HERE OF THE ACTUAL WAR. DO YOU HAVE THE PETER IN FEBRUARY 2ND HALF EVERYWHERE. 25TH. WE'LL HAVE JUST PLANNING TO BE IN PERSON THIS YEAR. WE'RE STILL GOING TO GO VIRTUOSO. OKAY? WHAT? WHAT WAS THE ANSWER? SHE SAID, IN PERSON TO PERSON. AND I GUESS YOUR EMOTIONS JUST TO ACCEPT THE NOMINATION. ALL RIGHT , SO WE HAVE A MOTION TO ACCEPT THE NOMINATIONS THAT WERE JUST ALL MOVE TO ACCEPT AS WE VOTED BY HAND IN SECRET. ALSO SECOND THAT MOTION, ALL RIGHT? OKAY? PERFECT. ALRIGHT BEFORE WE GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION. DO WE

[BOARD COMMENTS]

HAVE ANY BOARD COMMENTS? YES MR CHAIRMAN. I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND EVERYBODY HERE OF A VERY IMPORTANT PETITION THAT'S GOING AROUND TO THE CITY. UM, WE ARE. A LITTLE PAST THE HALFWAY MARK WORKING WITH, UH, THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND A SUBCOMMITTEE THEREOF. YEAH PUT TEXAS PETITION STRATEGIES TO WORK TO COLLECT 22,000 SIGNATURES. TO ENABLE PACKAGE GOODS STORES IN THE CITY. AND I THINK. WHAT I'VE HEARD IS PROGRESS IS GOOD SO FAR. BUT IF YOU'RE A REGISTERED VOTER IN MCKINNEY, OR YOU KNOW, A REGISTERED VOTER IN MCKINNEY, WHICH I KNOW YOU DO. PLEASE REMIND THEM WE REALLY NEED TO GET THIS DONE. IT'S VERY SIGNIFICANT. $1.34 MILLION A YEAR IS A PRETTY CONSERVATIVE ESTIMATE AND PROPERTY TAX OR SALES TAX. BENEFITS SO I JUST IMPLORE EVERYONE TO PLEASE MAKE AN EFFORT TO SEND AN EMAIL TO YOUR FRIENDS POSTED ON FACEBOOK TALK TO PEOPLE. THAT YOU CAN GO TO THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AS WELL AS OTHER PLACES AROUND THE CITY TO GET THOSE DONE SO WE'VE GOT. 33 PLUS WEEKS LEFT, AND WE GOT TO GET THIS DONE. DO WE KNOW HOW FAR ARE WE FROM THE 22,000 MARK? WE'RE RIGHT ON TRACK, WHICH MAKES ME NERVOUS. RIGHT ON TRACK TO HIT THE NUMBER. THAT'S TOO CLOSE. WE NEED TO BE. WE NEED TO BE OVER OVER ACHIEVING AT THIS POINT WITH THREE WEEKS TO GO. YOU MENTIONED WHAT THEY'RE ACTUALLY SAYING THE

[00:25:02]

POTENTIAL FOR PETITION FOR PACKAGED GOODS STORES AND IN THE CITY OF MCKINNEY. AND I KNOW IF YOU GO TO THE CHAMBER WEBSITE, THERE'S THREE THERE'S ACTUALLY ABOUT THREE LOCATIONS WHERE YOU CAN GO. YOU HAVE THE SIGN IN PERSON AND YOU HAVE TO BE A REGISTERED VOTER TO SIGN THE PETITION. UM THERE'S ALSO OTHER AVENUES ON THE CHAMBER WEBSITE ON HOW TO GET PETITIONS SENT TO YOU IF YOU'RE HAVING A HOLIDAY EVENT YOU WANT TO, YOU KNOW, WE HAVE PEOPLE IN MCKINNEY THAT LIVED. THERE ARE REGISTERED VOTERS THEY CAN SIGN THERE AT YOUR HOLIDAY EVENT. BUT THERE'S MULTIPLE WAYS TO GET THIS DONE. WE JUST NEED EVERYBODY SUPPORT MOVING US FORWARD. YES TO MICHAEL'S POINT. IF YOU RUN BY THE CHAMBER AND WANT TO PICK UP A COUPLE OF FORMS AND BRING THER HOLIDAY FUNCTION. THAT WOULD BE GREAT, TOO. MR CHAIRMAN, MAY I? YES I KNOW WE OPERATE ON A FISCAL YEAR BASIS, BUT WE CAN KEEP SCORE ON A CALENDAR YEAR BASIS AND I WOULD JUST LIKE TO PASS OUT SOME CONGRATULATIONS. SOURCE STAFF WHO HAVE. REALLY CRUSHED IT THIS YEAR. I MEAN, OUR METRICS ARE REALLY STRONG. IT'S BEEN A REALLY, REALLY GOOD YEAR FOR M E. D C, THANKS TO THE HARD WORK OF OUR STAFF AND OUR BOARD TO BE TRUE, TO BE HONEST AS WELL, BUT JUST OUTSTANDING IN A VERY DIFFICULT ENVIRONMENT. AGREED. YOU KNOW THE TEST QUESTIONS. COMMENTS ER. ALL
