YEAH.

MOTION PASSES.

THANK YOU.

AT THIS TIME, WE WILL HAVE OUR FINANCIAL REPORT BY

[Financial Report]

CHANCE MILLER ITEM TWO, TWO DASH OH ONE SIX.

OH, SORRY.

GOOD MORNING.

CHANCE MILLER FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE MANAGER.

WE'LL BE GOING OVER THE MONTH OF JANUARY TODAY.

UM, WE HAD QUITE A BUSY MONTH FOR REVENUES.

WE SAW WELL CLOSE TO 1.7 MILLION, WHICH IS ENTIRELY OF SALES TAX REVENUE.

IN REGARDS TO EXPENDITURES.

WE'VE HAD A LITTLE OVER 200,000 AND COMMUNITY GRANTS GET PAID OUT IN JANUARY.

WE HAD CLOSE TO 450,000 TO BE PAID OUT RELATED TO THE PARK CONSTRUCTION FUND.

WE ALSO HAD CLOSE TO $1.1 MILLION BE PAID OUT CLOSE TO OR FOR CONSTRUCTION RELATED PROJECTS, WHICH IS TOPS IN THE APEX EXPANSION.

THIS WAS ALSO ONE OF THE TWO, UH, PAYMENTS OF OR DEBT SERVICE THAT GETS PAID OUT.

SO THAT WAS 331,000.

WE'LL HAVE ANOTHER ONE IN NOVEMBER TOWARDS THE END OF THE YEAR, UM, REGARDING, UH, SALES TAX REVENUE, JANUARY APPLIES TO THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER.

SO THIS IS THE MONTH BEFORE DECEMBER.

UM, OBVIOUSLY DECEMBER IS OUR BIGGEST MONTH THAT WE LOOK AT FOR SALES TAX REVENUE, BUT WE SAW A 23.9% INCREASE WHEN WE COMPARE THAT TO LAST YEAR, THAT WAS A TRUE INCREASE.

OBVIOUSLY THERE'S INFLATION THAT FACTOR INTO THAT, AND WE'VE BEEN USING AROUND A 7% FIGURE FOR THAT.

BUT IF WE'RE LOOKING AT AUDIT COLLECTIONS AND STUFF LIKE THAT, THAT WAS CONSISTENT OVER A YEAR TO YEAR BASIS.

SO, UM, IF YOU WANT TO FACTOR OUT, UM, INFLATION, YOU'RE STILL LOOKING AT CLOSE TO 17%, TRULY INCREASE IN SALES TAX REVENUE THAT BRINGS OUR YEAR-TO-DATE INCREASE UP TO 19.6%.

ALAN SAW 26.4% INCREASE.

FRISCO'S SAW 26.9% INCREASE AND PLANO SAW 27.5% INCREASE, UM, SLIGHTLY BEHIND THEM.

THEY DID HAVE MORE AUDIT COLLECTIONS AND STUFF LIKE THAT COME IN.

SO THEIR NUMBERS ARE SLIGHTLY SKEWED, BUT STILL WE'RE ALL FAIRLY CONSISTENT WITH OUR SISTER CITIES AT THAT POINT.

UM, AND THE ONLY OTHER THINGS THAT I'LL MENTION THAT WE DID FINALIZE

[00:05:01]

THE AUDIT THAT WAS APPROVED BY THE COUNCIL AT OUR LAST BOARD MEETING AND OUR LAST CITY COUNCIL MEETING.

AND SO ALL THAT IS FINALIZED AND I'LL BE COMING BACK TO THE BOARD NEXT MONTH, THE FINAL 2021, UM, NUMBER.

SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT THE, UH, FUND BALANCE ENDED UP AT AND EVERYTHING ELSE RELATED TO THAT.

UM, AND WE'RE ALSO STARTING THE BUDGET PROCESS.

SO, UM, IT'S A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT FOR THE, UM, MCDC THAN THE DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY, BUT IT FOLLOWS A SIMILAR PROCESS.

IT'S, UH, OBVIOUSLY WE'LL COME TO Y'ALL AND CLOSE TO, YOU KNOW, JUNE, JULY THAT PROCESS, BUT I MEAN, IT'S ANY WE'LL WORK TOGETHER AND GET THAT OVER TO YOU AND I'LL STAY FOR ANY QUESTIONS.

THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS THE CHECKS WERE ATTACHED FROM JANUARY.

THANK YOU.

AT THIS TIME.

UM, ITEM TWO, TWO DASH OH 1 6 1

[Board and Liaison Reports Board Chair City of McKinney Visit McKinney McKinney Economic Development Corporation McKinney Main Street/MPAC McKinney Parks and Recreation]

BOARD AND LIAISON REPORTS, I WOULD JUST SHARE MARCH IS NATIONAL WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH.

AND THIS YEAR'S, UM, THEME AS PRESENTED BY THE NATIONAL WOMEN'S HISTORY ALLIANCE IS PROVIDING HEALING AND PROMO PROMOTING HOPE.

AND SO I JUST WANT TO, FOR THE CITY OF MCKINNEY CELEBRATE ALL OF THE AMAZING WOMEN AND SHE ROSE THAT WE HAVE IN OUR COMMUNITY THAT ARE SEEN AND UNSEEN, UH, IN OUR COMMUNITY.

I APPLAUD MY SISTERS HERE ON THE BOARD FOR ALL THAT YOU DO IN THE SACRIFICE.

AND ALSO ALL OF THE WOMEN OF THE LEADERS AND THE WIVES AND THE DAUGHTERS OF THE LEADERS AND THE MOTHERS OF THE LEADERS, THE MALE LEADERS THAT WE HAVE IN OUR COMMUNITY, BECAUSE THEY TO MAKE A SACRIFICE WHEN THEY SUPPORT, UH, OUR LEADERS IN OUR COMMUNITY.

SO OUR EDUCATORS, OUR HOSPITAL FIRST, UH, FIRST RESPONDERS.

SO JUST WANT TO CELEBRATE EVERYONE, EVERY WOMAN IN THE CITY OF MCKINNEY, BECAUSE THEY'RE MAKING A DIFFERENCE RATHER ON THE LARGE PLATFORM OR ON THE SMALL PLATFORM, TAKING CARE OF THE CHILDREN, TAKING CARE OF THEIR PARENTS, UM, HELPING OTHERS THAT ARE NOT EVEN, UM, CAN TO THEM.

SO I JUST WANT TO SAY CELEBRATING THE WOMEN IN THE GREAT WOMEN OF THE CITY OF MCKINNEY, A COUPLE OF THINGS TUFTS, GROUNDBREAKING, UH, COURSE WAS DONE IN, WAS IT J JANUARY IN JANUARY AND THINGS ARE MOVING.

UH, SO YOU CAN GO BY THE AREA AND KIND OF SEE WHERE DIRT IS BEING TURNED.

WE'RE EXCITED FOR THE PROGRESSION OF THAT PARTICULAR PROJECT.

ALSO, UH, THIS PAST MONTH, I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO MCDC FOR SUPPORTING, BEING A SPONSOR OF THE MCKINNEY BLACK HISTORY MONTH.

IT WAS A GREAT MONTH WITH A LOT OF AMAZING, UM, EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL THINGS.

WE KICKED THE MONTH OFF WITH A HISTORY, UM, EXHIBIT A LOT OF THESE GREAT THINGS WERE HELD AT THE IMPACT CENTER EVERY THURSDAY WITH EXCEPTION OF THE DAYS THAT WE HAD SOME INCLEMENT WEATHER THAT WE HAD TO CANCEL.

WE HAD LECTURE SERIES ON BUSINESSES, UH, ENTREPRENEURSHIP WE'D HAD A COLLEGE EXPO THAT WE EVEN HAD INDIVIDUALS COMING OUT OF THE DALLAS AREA THAT CAME DOWN AND GOT GREAT INFORMATION FROM VARIOUS COLLEGES, UH, COLLIN COLLEGE HBC U COLLEGES THAT ARE IN OUR COMMUNITY.

SO IT WAS WELL ATTENDED.

UM, WE ARE REALLY EXCITED.

WE ALSO HAD OUR SIGNATURE EVENT, TWO SIGNATURE EVENTS, AGAIN, THE ART EXHIBIT, AS WELL AS THE, UM, HARLEM RENAISSANCE.

REMEMBER FOR ANYONE THAT ATTENDED, IT WAS, IT WAS MORE THAN WE COULD HAVE EXPECTED.

AND WE THANK THE COMMUNITY FOR SUPPORTING THAT EVENT.

NOW WE'RE JUST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT, OH, DO WE KEEP IT AT THAT NUMBER? DO WE EXPAND IT? CAUSE WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO GET A BIGGER PLACE BECAUSE WE WANT TO EXPAND IT.

BUT WE ALSO, UM, LIKED THE INTIMACY THAT IT PROVIDED AT THE VENUE.

SO AS THE TEAM WILL START LOOKING AT NEXT YEAR TO A PRE-PLANNING FOR THAT, AND ALSO SOME OF THE EVENTS HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED BECAUSE OF THE INCLEMENT WEATHER THAT WE HAVE.

SO THE LEGACY KEEPERS POP-UP MUSEUM WILL BE RESCHEDULED THIS MONTH, AS WELL AS THE MISD INTEGRATION LECTURE SERIES, WHICH WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR THIS MONTH.

AND AGAIN, JUST THANK YOU FOR THE, TO THE COMMUNITY MCDC FOR ALL OF THOSE THAT ATTENDED AND SUPPORTED THAT GREAT EVENT.

UH, YOU CAN STILL VISIT, UH, MCKINNEY B H M.COM, UH, IN, HAS IT, THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS GOING TO BE CONTINUOUS, UH, AS WE ADD INFORMATION BECAUSE ALSO FEBRUARY IS CELEBRATED BLACK HISTORY MONTH, BUT WE ALSO KNOW THAT AFRICAN-AMERICAN HISTORY IS CELEBRATED 365 DAYS OF THE YEAR.

SO WE HOPE TO PROMOTE THINGS ON THERE JUST AS AN ONGOING BASIS.

UM, ANY OTHER COMMENTS OR MEMBERS, EVERYBODY QUIET BECAUSE THEY'RE TRYING TO GET THE T SO

[00:10:01]

AT THIS TIME WE WILL HAVE, UM, CITY OF MCKINNEY, MR. GRIMES, GOOD MORNING, MADAM CHAIRMAN AND PRESIDENT MEMBERS OF THE BOARD.

MY NAME IS PAUL GRIMES, CITY MANAGER.

I WILL BE QUICK BECAUSE I KNOW WE HAVE THE HEB GROUNDBREAKING THIS MORNING.

SO WE'RE ALL LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT.

UM, THE CITY COUNCIL ON FEBRUARY 11TH MET TO, UH, FOR THEIR ANNUAL GOAL SETTING WORKSHOP.

AND FOR THE FIRST TIME WE'RE ACTUALLY GOING TO DO A FOLLOWUP WE'RE ON TO THAT ON MARCH 11TH FOR ABOUT A HALF A DAY.

AND IT'S GOING TO BE A FOLLOWUP MEETING FOR THE COUNCIL TO SORT OF ESTABLISH WHAT THEIR PRIORITIES ARE.

GIVE US A SENSE OF THE RELATIVE PRIORITIES OF THE CITY COUNCIL BASED ON THEIR STRATEGIC GOALS.

THAT'LL BE VERY HELPFUL TO STAFF BECAUSE AS YOU KNOW, WHEN WE'RE PREPARING A BUDGET, IT'S GOOD TO KNOW WHAT THE RELATIVE PRIORITY IS OF PARTICULAR GOALS.

YOU CAN'T DO EVERYTHING, YOU CAN'T DO EVERYTHING RIGHT AWAY.

SO WE HAVE TO GET A SENSE OF WHAT THAT IS.

AND THAT'S WHAT THAT WORKSHOP WILL BE ON MARCH 11TH.

ALSO, UM, YOU MENTIONED BUDGET, OR I THINK CHANCE MENTIONED BUDGET EARLIER.

THE CITY COUNCIL ON TUESDAY ADOPTED THEIR BUDGET ANNUAL BUDGET GUIDELINES THAT REALLY OFFICIALLY KICKS OFF THE BUDGET PROCESS.

SO WE TAKE THE GOAL SETTING, UH, THAT WE'RE DOING NOW.

AND THEN WE HAD JUST KICKED OFF.

WE ADOPTED THE BUDGET GUIDELINES, AND NOW WE WILL BEGIN THE PROCESS OF PREPARING A BUDGET FOR THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR.

UH, IN FACT, STAFF HAD THEIR BUDGET KICKOFF MEETING YESTERDAY IN THIS ROOM.

UH, SO THAT IS UNDERWAY AND ROCKING AND ROLLING.

AND THEN FINALLY, UM, AS YOU ALL KNOW, THERE WAS A, UH, A PETITION, UH, FOR, UH, A LIQUEUR ELECTION TO BE PLACED ON THE BALLOT.

UH, THIS PAST, UM, COUNCIL MEETING ON TUESDAY, THE CITY SECRETARY'S OFFICE DID CERTIFY THAT WE, THEY MET THEIR, UH, REQUISITE NUMBER OF SIGNATURES, UH, TO QUALIFY FOR THE BALLOT.

SO ON MARCH 15TH, THE ITEM WILL BE BROUGHT BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL FOR, TO CALL THE ELECTION.

IT REALLY DON'T HAVE A CHOICE.

IT'S A MINISTERIAL FUNCTION BECAUSE IT'S A VOTER INITIATED PETITION, UH, FOR THE ELECTION, BUT THEY DID MEET THE THRESHOLD.

AND SO THE COUNCIL WILL BE VOTING ON THAT, UH, ON THE 15TH, AND THEN IT WILL BE ON THE NOVEMBER BALLOT FOR ELECTION.

AND I DON'T KNOW IF AMY WROTE HE'S NOT HERE BECAUSE THIS AFTERNOON WE'RE VERY EXCITED BECAUSE WE'RE HAVING A KICKOFF FOR THE MURAL, UM, UH, AT THE SILOS ACROSS FROM THE FUTURE CITY HALL ON VIRGINIA, YOU ALL MAY KNOW ABOUT THAT.

THAT IS THIS EVENING, I THINK AT 5:30 PM OR 6:00 PM.

AND WE'RE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THAT BECAUSE THAT'S GOING TO BE A REALLY COOL PROJECT WHERE THEY HAVE AN ARTIST.

THE ARTIST I BELIEVE IS GOING TO BE HERE, UH, TO KICK OFF THE MURAL PROJECT.

SO, UM, I WILL STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS.

THANK YOU.

THANK YOU.

NEXT VISIT MCKINNEY.

GOOD MORNING.

I'M MURRAY WOODARD WITH ISIT MCKINNEY.

UM, OUR UPDATE, UH, FOR JANUARY, I WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THE AMERICAN BUS ASSOCIATION HAD A LARGE CONVENTION IN GRAPEVINE WITH OVER 1600 ATTENDEES AND MCKINNEY DID HAVE REPRESENTATION OVER THERE.

WE WERE A SPONSOR AND DUE TO THAT SPONSORSHIP, WE WERE ABLE TO BRING TWO BUSES OF ATTENDEES OVER TO OUR SQUARE.

AND THEY WENT TO TWO DIFFERENT DESTINATIONS.

THEY WENT TO THE HEARD MUSEUM AND THEY WENT, UH, TO THE DOWNTOWN DISTRICT, UH, 447 OF THESE PEOPLE WERE DECISION-MAKERS AND WE HAD 53 OF THEM COME INTO OUR COMMUNITY.

SO OUR HOPE IS THAT WE CAN, UM, CONTINUE TO WORK THAT MARKET AND SEE FUTURE BUSINESS.

UM, THE BRIDAL SHOW WAS HELD IN IMPACT.

THEY HAD 224 ATTENDEES, 55 OF WHICH, UH, STOPPED AT THE MCKINNEY BOOTH AND SIGNED UP SO THAT WE CAN GET IN TOUCH WITH THOSE BRIGHTS AND SEE WHAT KIND OF SERVICES WE CAN GIVE THEM AND GUIDE THEM INTO OUR PROPERTIES AND HOTELS.

UM, THE TEXAS RURAL WATER ASSOCIATION DID HAVE A BOARD MEETING AT THE SHERATON.

WE'RE HOPEFUL THAT THAT'S GOING TO BRING A FUTURE CONFERENCE.

AND FOR US, UM, WE CONTINUE TO WORK CLOSELY WITH THE 18 T BYRON NELSON.

THAT IS VERY EXCITING.

THERE'S ALWAYS UPDATES.

UH, THEY SEEM TO BE HAPPENING QUICKLY.

NOW THEY ARE IN TOWN, THEY'RE STARTING THEIR ACTIVITIES AND WE CAN'T WAIT.

THAT'S GOING TO BE ONE OF THE GREATEST EVENTS FOR MCKINNEY.

UM, I WANT TO REMIND EVERYBODY THAT THE HISTORIC WALKING TOURS, THEY DO OCCUR EVERY MONTH, THE SECOND TUESDAY, AND THE FOURTH SATURDAY, THEY START AT THE VISIT MCKINNEY OFFICE AND THEY'RE A LOT OF FUN.

SO I HOPE IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE THAT, YOU'LL COME AND DO THAT.

UM, SINCE OUR LAST REPORT, WE'VE HAD SOME, UM, A BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT, SOCCER TOURNAMENT, UH, THEY'VE BOOKED WITH US.

THE TRACY BEARD CLASSIC HAS BOOKED BRISCOE HOME, HIS SCHOOL RETRIEVED BOOKED.

AND YESTERDAY WE HAD A VERY

[00:15:01]

FUN EVENT WITH THE, UM, ARCADES.

WE HAD SOME COMEDIANS COME IN AND THEY DID A REALLY FUN EVENT AROUND THE SQUARE.

THEY DID A SCAVENGER HUNT THAT DROVE THEM INTO A LOT OF BUSINESSES.

UM, MISCELLANEOUS ITEM.

I WANT YOU TO KNOW THE FAIRFIELD IS OPEN AND DOING EXTREMELY WELL.

THEY ARE STAYING AT 70 TO 80% OCCUPANCY EVERY DAY SINCE THEIR DOORS OPEN, WHICH I WILL END WITH OUR HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX REPORT.

UM, JANUARY OF 21, WE HAD $95,014 REVENUE AND TAX.

BUT JANUARY OF 22, WE SAW 170,465, WHICH IS A 79 POINT 41% INCREASE.

AND THAT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO US RIGHT NOW.

IF WE'RE IN THIS ECONOMY, WE LOOK FOR SALES TAX AND WE LOOK FOR THAT HOT TAX TO HELP OUR CITY CONTINUE TO DO THE GREAT THINGS THAT IT'S DOING.

THAT'S MY REPORT.

AND I STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS.

I'M SORRY.

I JUST WANT TO MAKE A QUICK COMMENT.

I WAS ABLE TO DO THE TOUR, UH, WITH THE GROUP OF THE FAIRFIELD.

UM, SO IT IS A VERY NICE FACILITY.

IT'S, IT'S VERY CLOSE TO RAYTHEON.

THERE'S A JOKE, AN ONGOING JOKE THAT THEY'RE GOING TO RUN A GOLF TRAIL BETWEEN RAYTHEON AND THE IN THE HOTEL.

AND THERE'S A LOT OF EXCITING, UM, BUILD GOING ON ALL AROUND THEM.

SO IT'S, IT'S A GREAT, UH, GROWTH FOR THE CITY.

GREAT LOCATION, GREAT FACILITY.

YEAH, THE BRIDAL SHOW WAS AWESOME.

I WAS FORTUNATE TO GO AND IT WAS REALLY WELL DONE.

I'M GLAD TO HEAR THAT.

YEAH, IT WAS, IT WAS A GREAT EVENT.

ANYTHING ELSE? THANK YOU SO MUCH.

THANK YOU.

NOT FOR ME.

TELL US MORE FOR TRADING.

THANK YOU.

UM, MCKINNEY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION.

UM, A REPRESENTATIVE IS NOT HERE TODAY, BUT THE, UH, REPORT IS ATTACHED FOR YOUR REVIEW.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, NEXT MCKINNEY, UH, MAIN, MAIN STREET IN IMPACT WILL BE PRESENTED BY ANDREW JONES.

HELLO, THANK YOU.

UM, APPRECIATE IT.

UH, GOOD MORNING.

UH, I'M HERE ON BEHALF OF AMY ROSENTHAL.

SHE COULDN'T MAKE IT THIS MORNING.

UH, WE GOT LOTS OF FUN ACTIVITIES PLANNED LATER ON THIS EVENING, UM, AS A PARAGRAPH OR MR. GRIMES, UH, MENTIONED EARLIER.

SO, UH, WE, UH, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT FOR BLACK HISTORY MONTH.

UM, WE HAD LOTS OF DIFFERENT EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES AND IMPACT, UM, AND, UH, WE'RE ALREADY THINKING ABOUT AWESOME EVENTS FOR NEXT YEAR.

SO THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT THERE.

UH, WE'RE LOOKING TO CELEBRATING, UH, THE SILO MURAL PROJECT TONIGHT AT LOCAL YOKO.

YOU'RE ALL WELCOME.

AND, UH, AGAIN, THE ARTIST IS GOING TO BE HERE HIMSELF.

THAT'LL BE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO GET TO MEET HIM.

UH, HE'S YOU KNOW, DONE MURALS ALL AROUND THE WORLD.

UM, I PARTICULARLY WAS, UH, STRUCK BY A MURAL THAT I SAW IN UKRAINE ACTUALLY ON A NEWS STORY THE OTHER DAY.

SO IT WAS A PRETTY NEAT, UM, TO SEE HIS IMPACT, UM, THERE.

SO, UM, MARCH 12TH, WE'RE ALL IRISH.

WE HAVE WE'RE HOSTING THE MCKINNEY, UH, ST.

PETTY'S STAY BEER WALK.

UH, SPGS IS KICKING OFF THEIR, UM, 20, 22 SIP AND STROLL SERIES.

SO THIS IS THE FIRST ONE.

THERE ARE GREAT EVENTS FOR DOWNTOWN MCKINNEY, AGAIN, GET PEOPLE INTO BUSINESSES AND SHOPS ALL AROUND DOWNTOWN, AND THEN, UH, LAST BUT NOT LEAST ON MARCH 14TH, WE'RE EXCITED TO WELCOME, UH, BOB NEWGEN, HE'S A RETAIL EXPERT.

UM, HE'S COMING TO, IN TO HOST, UM, ABOUT 75 SMALL BUSINESSES FROM ALL THROUGHOUT NORTH DFW.

THEY'RE COMING TO LEARN, UM, FOR A WHOLE DAY'S WORTH OF TRAINING ON ALL DIFFERENCE, UM, STUFF, AND HOW TO INCREASE YOUR SALES AND, UM, BECOME A BETTER BUSINESS PERSON.

SO, UM, WITH ALL THAT, IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, I HAVE A COMMENT.

UM, I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO PARTICIPATE IN YOUR STRATEGY SESSION A FEW WEEKS AGO, AND I JUST WANTED TO SAY, UH, UH, IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST THAT I'D EVER BEEN TO.

AND I'VE BEEN LUCKY TO PARTICIPATE IN A LOT WITH THE CITY OVER THE LAST SEVEN YEARS.

AND IT WAS JUST REALLY WELL DONE.

AND I REALLY WANT TO THANK YOU GUYS, BUT ALSO UP PAUL'S BENEFIT.

KIM FLON DID IT, DID AN AMAZING JOB PLANNING THAT AND, UH, AND, AND, UH, UH, BEING THE EMCEE FOR THE BULK OF IT.

SO, THANKS.

THANKS FOR LETTING ME COME.

AND JUST ONE QUICK COMMENT FOR THIS EVENING, I AM JUST SO THRILLED THAT WE'RE GOING TO HAVE AN OUTSTANDING WORLD-CLASS PIECE OF PUBLIC ART.

UM, I DID MY THING WENT ON AND DONATED BECAUSE THIS PROJECT TAKES A LOT OF DOLLARS TO HAPPEN.

SO IF ANYBODY WANTS TO SAY I HELPED BUILD THIS ART IN MCKINNEY, I WOULD REALLY HOPE THAT PEOPLE COME TONIGHT AND PARTICIPATE, MEET THE ARTISTS.

CAUSE IT, IT WILL REALLY PUT MCKINNEY ON THE MAP IN TERMS OF PUBLIC

[00:20:01]

ART.

IT'S AN AMAZING PROJECT.

SO I'M EXCITED.

THANK YOU.

CAN'T WAIT.

I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT THE SILOS.

WE'VE GOT A CARD HERE WITH THE, WITH PICTURES OF OTHER WORK ON SILOS THAT HE'S DONE.

DO WE KNOW WHAT OURS IS GOING TO LOOK LIKE YET? OR IS THAT STILL IN DEVELOPMENT OR, YEAH, THAT'S STILL IN DEVELOPMENT.

SO PART OF THE, UH, PROCESS, AS IT COMES INTO A COMMUNITY, HE SEES, UH, LOTS OF DIFFERENT, UM, COMMUNITY GROUPS AND EVENTS, AND THAT INSPIRES THE ARTWORK THAT, THAT HE'LL ULTIMATELY CHOOSE TO PUT UP ON THE MURAL.

UM, AND I KNOW THAT THAT'S ALREADY BEEN KIND OF DECIDED THROUGH, UM, YOU KNOW, LOTS OF DIFFERENT INPUT SESSIONS AND PUBLIC INPUT ON WHERE HE'S GOING TO GO AND LIKE WHAT SITES HE'S GOING TO VISIT THROUGHOUT THE CITY.

SO, BUT BASICALLY I'M LOOKING AT FOUR DIFFERENT PICTURES HERE AND THEY'RE ALL LIKE OF PEOPLE THAT ARE AS BIG AS THE SILO.

RIGHT.

AND IT'S REALLY COOL.

WE SHOULD EXPECT ESSENTIALLY SOMETHING SIMILAR REPRESENTING MCKINNEY PEOPLE, RIGHT.

OR IT, SOMETIMES HE DOES COMPOSITES OF PEOPLE AND IT MAY NOT BE THE ACTUAL PERSON.

RIGHT.

COOL.

ABSOLUTELY.

THAT LOOKS REALLY COOL.

AND I AGREE WITH CATHERINE, THIS IS GOING TO BE WORLD-CLASS.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY GOING TO PUT US ON THE MAP.

WELL, AND IT'S JUST A REALLY COOL PROCESS THAT HE HAS.

IT'S VERY COLLABORATIVE.

WHEN HE GOES INTO A SITE, HE REALLY TAKES A LOT OF TIME TO GET TO KNOW THE HISTORY OF THE PLACE THAT THEY, YOU KNOW, JUST THE GEOGRAPHY WHAT'S GOING ON, HERE'S STORIES, SO THAT WHAT COMES OUT OF IT IS A VERY COLLABORATIVE PROCESS.

UM, AND I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT ONE OF HIS SITES WHILE IT WAS BEING DONE.

AND THEN WHEN IT WAS COMPLETED IN, UM, IN MANKATO AREA, AND IT'S JUST TREMENDOUS, IT CREATES A LOT OF PRIDE FOR, FOR THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE THERE AND IT BRINGS IN SO MUCH CULTURAL BACKGROUND FOR THE PROJECT.

SO THAT'S EXCITING.

AWESOME.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

OXYGEN-RICH GOOD MORNING, MICHAEL DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION.

SO AS A REMINDER TO YOU AND FOLKS WATCHING OUR PARKS AND RECREATION ACTIVITY GUIDES OR ONLINE, I THINK YOU'LL FIND THAT WE ARE BACK TO FULL HORSEPOWER HERE.

SO ALL OF OUR PROGRAMMING CLASSES AND SO ON, IN FACT, PART OF MY NOTES HERE, BUT OUR SENIOR RECREATION CENTER WILL BE GOING TO BRANSON, MISSOURI FOR AN OVERNIGHT TRIP IN JUNE.

BEFORE YOU ASK, I WILL NOT BE GOING ON THAT TRIP, BUT IN ALL SERIOUSNESS, WE ARE VERY PROUD OF OUR TEAM TO WORK THROUGH ALL THEIR COVID PROTOCOLS.

IF YOU HAVE NOT VOLUNTEER WITH OUR PARKS FOUNDATION IN SOME CAPACITY, PLEASE CHECK OUT THEIR CALENDAR.

WE HAD A GREAT EVENT, A GREAT BRANCH PARK, A FEW WEEKS BACK.

WE HAVE CUT ABOUT A ONE MILE OF NEW NATURE TRAIL AT GREY BRANCH PARK.

UH, AND WE HOPE THAT BEFORE SPRING, WE HAVE A MUCH MORE THAN THAT.

SO KUDOS TO THEM.

UM, THIS IS THE TIME OF YEAR WHEN WEEDS START GROWING FASTER THAN GRASS.

SO PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US.

WE ARE RAMPING UP OUR BOEING SERVICES.

SO AS WE GO THROUGH IT, UH, PLEASE, UH, LET ME KNOW IF YOU SEE SOMETHING WE WANT TO FIX IT.

SINCE WE LAST MET, WE'VE COLLECTED A COUPLE OF AWARDS.

UH, FIRST AND FOREMOST, AT OUR STATE CONFERENCE, WE RECEIVED THE EXCELLENCE AND MAINTENANCE AWARD THAT WAS AWARDED TO ONLY ONE CITY OVER SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND PEOPLE IN ALL OF TEXAS AND THE CITY OF MCKINNEY RECEIVED THAT AWARD.

SO KUDOS TO MARTY SOTO AND HIS TEAM FOR THAT.

AND THEN AT THIS PAST FRIDAYS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE YOU'VE AWARDS GALA, OR WE RECEIVED THE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT OF THE YEAR FOR THE CITY OF MCKINNEY.

UH, IN MY TIME HERE, I THINK THIS MAY BE THE MOST IMPORTANT AWARD THAT WE'VE WON.

UM, THIS AWARD HAS BEEN GIVEN OUT SINCE 1985.

WE ARE THE FIRST CITY PROJECT TO WIN IT.

UH, SO ON BEHALF OF THE ENTIRE TEAM, UM, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT, UH, FINANCIAL MORALLY AND SO ON.

SO THANK YOU SO MUCH.

IT'S A TEAM EFFORT THAT AWARDS AS MUCH FOR YOU AS FOR US.

SO WITH THAT, I WILL STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS, REGULATIONS.

BEFORE WE GO TO THE PRESIDENT'S REPORT, I DIGRESS.

OF LIFE, INDIVIDUAL ANGELA POEM FROM THE COMMUNITY GARDEN, KITCHEN, CONGRATULATIONS TO HER AND HER TEAM, AND ALSO GRACE TO CHANGE SHANNON FOR, UM, WHAT SHE DOES IN SUPPORTING AND PROVIDING MENTAL, UH, SUPPORT AND HEALTH TO OUR ADOLESCENTS AND ADULTS IN OUR COMMUNITY.

SO CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH OF THEM FOR WINNING THOSE AWARDS.

OKAY.

I'M SORRY.

I DIGRESS ONTO PRESIDENT'S

[President’s Report]

REPORT ITEM 22 DASH OH 1 6 2 ADAM CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS OF THE BOARD.

JUST A COUPLE OF THINGS.

THERE ARE REPORTS ATTACHED TO THE AGENDA.

PLEASE TAKE A LOOK, UM, WITH RESPECT TO THE QUALITY OF LIFE AWARD, JUST WANTED TO RECOGNIZE LINDA AND THANK HER FOR OVERSEEING THAT PROGRAM AND MANAGING THAT PROGRAM FROM SOLICITING NOMINATIONS TO, UM, OUR PART IN THE AWARDS CEREMONY LAST, LAST FRIDAY.

SO MANY THINGS, UM, ONE OF THE REPORTS ATTACHED TO THE AGENDA IS THE ROTARY IS A FINAL REPORT FOR THE ROTARY FOUNDATION PARADE OF LIGHTS.

AND, UM, I JUST WANT TO SAY, I THINK IT IS SO REMARKABLE FOR THAT EVENT.

THEY'VE DONE A GREAT RECAP OF THE EVENT, BUT THAT EVENT DREW NEARLY 33,000 PEOPLE TO DOWNTOWN MCKINNEY.

AND I THINK IT'S JUST A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THE KINDS OF THINGS THAT ARE GOING ON THAT PROMOTE MCKINNEY FOR THE PURPOSE OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND TOURISM, AND WAS ONE THAT, THAT, UH, WE SUPPORTED, SUPPORTED THROUGH A PROMOTIONAL GRANT.

AND THEN LAST THING IS TODAY YOU'LL BE VOTING ON A PROJECT GRANT APPLICATIONS THAT WERE SUBMITTED FOR CYCLE ONE CYCLE TWO OPENED ON MARCH 1ST, WE'LL ACCEPT APPLICATIONS THROUGH THE END THIS MONTH.

AND THOSE WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE BOARD IN APRIL.

AND WITH THAT, I WILL STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS.

THANK YOU.

WE'LL GO ON TO REGULAR

[Consider/Discuss Apex Centre Operational Status and Special Projects Update.]

AGENDA ITEMS, ITEM 22 DASH OH 1 6 3 DIS CONSIDERED DISCUSS APEC CENTER, OPERATIONAL STATUS AND SPECIAL PROJECTS UPDATE.

GOOD MORNING, ONCE AGAIN, MICHAEL KOSKI, DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION.

UH, I HAVE A TEAM WITH ME TODAY.

UH, SO WE HAVE RYAN MULLINS, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR.

WE HAVE ERICA LIGHT, WHO IS OUR NEW MANAGER OF THE APEX CENTER, AND YOU'LL SEE IT VERY FAMILIAR FRIEND IN THE AUDIENCE, PRESET THOMASON.

UH, SHE SERVED AS OUR MANAGER, UH, BEFORE THE CENTER OPENED UP IN FACT AND GOT TO GO.

AND, UH, SHE HAS, UM, EARNED A NEW ROLE WITH THE CITY OF ALLEN AS THEIR ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION.

HER LAST DAY WAS THIS PAST FRIDAY, BUT, YOU KNOW, SHE WELCOMED THE CHANCE TO COME HERE AND SUPPORT ERICA AND THE TEAM.

AND THEN, UH, SHE WANTS TO SAY A FEW WORDS AT THE END AS WELL.

SO TERESA, THANKS FOR COMING.

WE'D LIKE TO COME AND GIVE AN OVERVIEW OF WHAT'S HAPPENING AT THE APEX CENTER.

UH, BASICALLY, UH, WE'LL WALK THROUGH THE TYPICAL THEMES OF MEMBERSHIP AND WHERE WE SEE OUR STRENGTHS AND OPPORTUNITIES EXISTING TODAY.

UH, ERICA WILL TAKE THE LEAD ON THE BULK OF THE PRESENTATION AND THEN I WILL, UH, I'LL COME IN AT THE END TO TALK ABOUT THE PROJECTS AND SOME FINANCIAL ITEMS AS WELL.

SO WITH THAT, ERICA, GOOD MORNING.

GOOD MORNING.

I'M ERICA LIGHT AGAIN, THE NEW CENTER MANAGER AT THE APEX CENTER, UM, AS OF YESTERDAY.

UM, SO THANK YOU FOR HAVING US, UM, AS MR. KELSEY MINT MENTIONED, I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU KIND OF A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE SUCCESS, UM, OF THE APEX CENTER IN FISCAL YEAR 21.

UM, SO THE FIRST SLIDE THAT YOU'LL SEE UP HERE IS JUST A FEW OF OUR NUMBERS, UH, WHERE WE SAT, UM, FROM 2019 UP THROUGH 2021 IN TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP NUMBERS, UM, 2019, WHICH WAS ONE OF OUR STRONGEST YEARS, WE WERE AT A LITTLE OVER 5,300 IN MEMBERS.

UM, OF COURSE, 2020 DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.

WE SAW A SIGNIFICANT DROP IN MEMBERSHIPS AND 2021, WE FINISHED AT ABOUT FOUR, A LITTLE OVER 4,000.

WE'RE CURRENTLY SITTING AT ABOUT 4,200 AS OF TODAY.

SO WE'RE STARTING TO SEE THAT, UH, THOSE NUMBERS RISE TO WHERE WE WERE.

UM, JUST A QUICK OVERVIEW.

UM, THE YEAR END REVIEW AS MR. KELSEY MENTIONED SOME OF THE AWARDS THAT THE DEPARTMENT HAS RECEIVED, UM, OVER THE PAST YEAR APEX CENTER WAS ALSO NAMED, UM, BEST HEALTH CLUB GYM BY LIVING MAGAZINE IN 2021.

UM, WE ALSO HAD, UH, ONE OF OUR FULL TIME STAFF MEMBERS THAT WON THE HORIZON AWARD, UM, BY OUR, UH, REGIONAL ASSOCIATION TRAPS.

AND JUST A FEW OF OUR OTHER HIGHLIGHTS HERE.

UM, AS YOU CAN SEE OUR GOOGLE REVIEWS, WE TAKE, UH, TAKE THOSE VERY SERIOUSLY.

WE HAVE A GREAT TEAM THAT, UM, SENDS OUT OUR SURVEYS TO OUR MEMBERS AND, YOU KNOW, WE TAKE A LOOK AT THAT AND WE LIKE TO SEE WHERE WE ARE AND COMPARE OURSELVES TO YOU, YOU

[00:30:01]

KNOW, INDUSTRY STANDARDS, AS YOU CAN SEE, OUR NET PROMOTER SCORE IS ABOUT 65, WHICH IS ABOUT, UM, A LITTLE BIT HIGHER THAN THE INDUSTRY STANDARD HERE IS JUST A KIND OF A LOOK OF OUR MEMBERSHIPS BY MONTH, AS YOU CAN IMAGINE, OUR, UM, OUR BUSIEST TIME OR OUR HIGHEST NUMBERS ARE TYPICALLY IN THE MONTHS OF JUNE, JULY, AND AUGUST, UM, DUE TO OUR OUTDOOR POOL BEING OPEN.

SO WE SEE A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE DURING THOSE MONTHS.

UM, BUT WE HAVE A COMPARISON HERE OF WHAT THOSE NUMBERS LOOK LIKE.

AGAIN FROM 2020 TO 2021, UM, HERE IS JUST, UH, AN IDEA OF WHAT, UM, OUR MEMBERSHIPS, IN TERMS OF ADULT FAMILY, SENIOR ANNUAL, UM, AND OUR YOUTH MEMBERSHIPS, OUR FAMILY MEMBERSHIPS ARE HIGHEST NUMBER OF MEMBERSHIPS.

UM, THEY MAKE UP ABOUT 68% OF OUR OVERALL MEMBERSHIPS, UM, WHICH IS REALLY GOOD.

WE ARE A FAMILY, UM, RECREATION FACILITY.

SO WE, UM, YOU KNOW, WE SAY WE HAVE SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE FROM THE YOUNGEST, UM, UP TO OUR, UM, SEASONAL MEMBERS, UM, ON THE RIGHT IS JUST AN IDEA OF HOW THOSE MEMBERSHIPS, UM, UM, ARE DIVIDED IN TERMS OF ANNUAL VERSUS MONTHLY.

UM, THOSE NUMBERS WE'VE TRENDED HIGHER IN OUR MONTHLY FOR SOME TIME, BUT YOU CAN SEE THOSE NUMBERS ARE STARTING TO KIND OF LINE UP.

WE DO HAVE PEOPLE THAT PREFER, UM, TO PAY FOR THEIR MEMBERSHIP, UM, ALL UP FRONT AND, UM, RIGHT BELOW THAT, AS YOU CAN SEE OUR RESIDENTS, OF COURSE, 93% MAKE UP OUR MEMBERSHIPS.

AND THEN THERE'S A SMALL PERCENTAGE THAT ARE NON-RESIDENTS.

UM, TYPICALLY WE SEE PEOPLE THAT, UM, EITHER WORK IN THE AREA OR THEY'RE LIVING MAYBE IN A COMMUNITY THAT DOES NOT HAVE A FACILITY LIKE THE APEX CENTER, UM, HERE ARE CANCELLATIONS.

WE, UM, WE HAVE A TEAM THAT TRACKS OUR CANCELLATIONS.

WE RESPOND TO ANYONE THAT IS CANCELING THEIR MEMBERSHIP.

UM, AS YOU CAN SEE, THERE'S A HIGH NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHEN THEY DO CANCEL.

THEY TYPICALLY DON'T PROVIDE A REASON WE'VE STARTED TRACKING THOSE.

AND ACTUALLY FOLLOWING BACK UP WITH THOSE INDIVIDUALS, WE HAVE A TEAM THAT WILL REACH OUT VIA PHONE CALL OR EMAIL, JUST TO KIND OF GET SOME FEEDBACK, UM, IN TERMS OF WHY WE, WHY PEOPLE ARE CANCELING.

UM, SOME OF THOSE ARE DUE TO, YOU KNOW, MOVING OUT OF THE AREA.

WE HEAR SOME PEOPLE WERE STILL, UM, ARE NOT COMFORTABLE COMING BACK INTO THE FACILITY DUE TO COVID.

UM, BUT AGAIN, WE ARE MAKING SURE THAT WE FOLLOW UP, UH, WHAT I WILL POINT OUT ON THIS SLIDE, AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE NUMBERS ARE VERY HIGH IN TERMS OF CANCELLATIONS, WHERE TYPICALLY ON A MONTHLY BASIS, UNDER A HUNDRED CANCELLATIONS, SEPTEMBER IS HIGH.

AND AS YOU CAN IMAGINE, THAT'S DUE TO THE OUTDOOR POOL CLOSES AND, UM, PEOPLE THAT ONLY PURCHASE IT FOR THE SUMMER ARE LEAVING.

UM, OUR PLAN, WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON, ACTUALLY RIGHT NOW, WE HAVE A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPERVISOR AND MARKETING TEAM.

THEY PUT TOGETHER A CAMPAIGN.

SO WE'RE STARTING TO REACH OUT TO THOSE A LITTLE BIT EARLIER IN THE SEASON.

SO WE'RE TRYING TO GET THEM TO SIGN UP FOR THEIR MEMBERSHIPS NOW, AND THEN THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER, WE WILL BE PROVIDING THEM WITH REASONS TO STAY AND TO NOT CANCEL THOSE MEMBERSHIPS IN SEPTEMBER.

UM, SO WE ANTICIPATE, UM, SEEING A LOWER NUMBER, UM, IN THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR.

UM, HERE IS JUST AN IDEA OF GIVE YOU AN OVERVIEW OF HOW MANY PEOPLE WE SEE ON A YEARLY AND A MONTHLY BASIS.

THESE ARE OUR SCANNINGS INTO THE FACILITY, UM, IN 2020, AGAIN, OF COURSE WE WERE SHUT DOWN, UM, FOR A PERIOD OF TIME.

AND SO THOSE NUMBERS ARE MUCH LOWER.

UM, IN 2021, WE ENDED WITH THEM ABOUT 445,000 SCAN INS TO THE FACILITY, THE HYDRATE COURSE.

SO THAT'S ONE OF OUR HIGHLIGHTS FOR, UM, THIS PAST YEAR.

UM, WE ARE, UM, AGAIN, WE WERE THE FIRST INDOOR, UM, BUT SLOWLY FACILITY TO INSTALL THE NINJA CROSS WATER OBSTACLE COURSE, THE THIRD IN THE NATION.

SO WE WERE REALLY PROUD OF THAT.

UM, WE HAVE, IT IS TWO OBSTACLE COURSE COURSES, ONE SIDE, UM, OR FOR THOSE THAT REALLY LIKE THE CHALLENGE AND THE OTHER SIDE, UM, IS A LITTLE BIT EASIER.

WHAT WE HAVE FOUND THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE WANT THAT CHALLENGE.

EVEN THE YOUNG KIDS, THEY GET ON THERE AND THEY'RE TRYING THEIR HARDEST TO, TILL THEY ARE ABLE TO GET ACROSS.

UM, WE OPENED IT UP WITH A PREVIEW FOR MEMBERS ONLY ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER THE 11TH, AND IT IS NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

UM, WE DON'T HAVE A LOT OF HISTORY ON IT JUST YET.

WE ARE TRACKING USAGE.

WE ARE WORKING WITH OUR MARKETING TEAM TO, UM, MARKET IT FOR, UM, AFTER OUR RENTALS FOR RENT, UM, BIRTHDAY PARTIES AND THINGS LIKE THAT.

SO WE'LL HAVE A LITTLE BIT MORE HISTORY WHEN WE COME BACK BEFORE YOU, UM, BACK TO OUR FINANCIALS, UM, THIS HERE GIVES

[00:35:01]

YOU A LOOK AT WHAT WE DID IN TERMS OF REVENUE OVER EXPENDITURES, UM, 20, 20 VERSUS 21.

UM, AND 20, YOU CAN SEE WHERE WE WERE AT ABOUT 2.9 MILLION IN REVENUES, UM, AT ABOUT 4.4 IN EXPENDITURES.

UM, AND 21 WE ENDED WITH ABOUT 3.3 MILLION IN REVENUE AND 4.3 IN EXPENDITURES, UM, WITH A NET OF ABOUT A MILLION DOLLARS.

AND THIS YEAR JUST KIND OF SHOWS YOU WHAT THOSE NUMBERS LOOK LIKE COMPARED TO, UH, WHAT WAS BUDGETED.

UM, WE DID OUR WEEK FORECAST FOR REVENUES.

WE WERE LOOKING AT ABOUT 3.2 AND WE ENDED THE YEAR AT ABOUT 3.6, UM, AT THE TIME OF THIS REPORT AND THE NUMBERS BEING GENERATED.

UM, THESE NUMBERS ARE UNAUDITED, BUT WE ARE REALLY COMFORTABLE THAT THESE ARE PRETTY CLOSE TO WHAT THOSE NUMBERS WILL BE.

UM, EXPENSES WE WERE LOOKING AT, WE WERE BUDGETED FOR ABOUT 4.9 AND WE WERE ABLE TO REDUCE OUR EXPENSES DOWN TO ABOUT 4.3 AND 21.

UM, HERE IS AN IDEA OF WHAT THE REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES, UM, OUR HIGHEST NUMBER OF, UM, OUR LARGEST REVENUE SOURCE OF COURSE, IS OUR MEMBERSHIPS.

AS YOU CAN SEE, THEY MAKE UP ABOUT $2.9 MILLION OF OUR REVENUE, AND THEN ABOUT 678,000 IS BROUGHT IN FROM OUR PROGRAMS, OUR OTHER SERVICES, OUR RENTALS, AND THINGS LIKE THAT.

UM, OUR EXPENDITURES, AS YOU CAN SEE ABOUT 62% OF OUR EXPENDITURES ARE PAYROLL COSTS, UM, COMING IN AT ABOUT $2.6 MILLION.

AND THEN OUR OTHER EXPENDITURES OF COURSE, WOULD BE, UM, BUILDING MAINTENANCE, EQUIPMENT UPDATES, AND SUPPLIES.

UM, THIS IS A REMINDER FOR US AS WE'RE PREPARING, UM, YOU KNOW, OUR GOALS FOR THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR.

OF COURSE, WE, UM, MAKE SURE THAT WE'RE TYING THEM INTO THE CITY COUNCIL GOALS AND THE NEXT SLIDE HERE.

THESE ARE OUR FISCAL GOAL FISCAL YEAR 22 GOALS, AND WE'VE, UM, LISTED HOW THEY TIE BACK TO THE CITY COUNCIL GOALS.

BUT OUR TOP THREE, I WILL, UM, KIND OF TOUCH ON.

UM, OF COURSE IT'S INCREASED MEMBERSHIPS TO APPROACH OUR PRE PANDEMIC LEVELS.

UM, AS YOU SAW IN PREVIOUS SLIDES, WE WERE AT ABOUT 4,200 MEMBERS.

CURRENTLY, OUR GOAL IS TO GET BACK UP TO WHERE WE WERE IN 2019 AT ABOUT 5,200.

SO WE'RE WORKING AGGRESSIVELY TO GET THOSE NUMBERS UP.

UM, WE TYPICALLY SEE LAST SUMMER WE HAD ABOUT 900 NEW MEMBERS WHEN THE OUTDOOR POOL OPENS OUR GOAL RIGHT NOW IS TO RETAIN, UM, A GREAT PERCENTAGE OF THOSE MEMBERS.

UM, OUR SECOND GOAL REVIEW AND CONSIDER NEW PROGRAMS AND OFFERINGS, UM, TO SECURE INCREASED REVENUE AND PARTICIPATION AT THE FACILITY.

UM, WE HAVE, UM, SOME NEW PROGRAMS THAT WE'VE, UM, ADDED TO OUR, UM, PROGRAM GUIDE.

AND WE HAVE FEW NEWS, UM, SUPERVISORS THAT HAVE COME FROM DIFFERENT AREAS THAT ARE BRINGING SOME GREAT IDEAS, UM, FOR GENERATING REVENUE.

AND THEN THE THIRD ONE I'LL TOUCH YOU ON IS OUR, UM, THIRD GOAL IS TO CONTINUE TO DEVELOP PARTNERSHIPS WITH COMMUNITY BUSINESSES FOR SPONSORSHIPS, UM, IS A BIG ONE FOR US.

SO WE HIRED A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPERVISOR.

UM, LAST YEAR, LATE LAST YEAR, SHE'S DONE A GREAT JOB, UM, HITTING THE PAVEMENT AND GETTING OUT INTO COMMUNITY, UM, GOING INTO BUSINESSES, WE'RE LOOKING FOR SPONSORS LAST YEAR.

WE WERE ABLE TO, UM, STILL A DEAL WITH A SPONSORSHIP FOR OUR PLAYROOM, WITH KINDERCARE.

SO THEY ARE ONE OF OUR SPONSORS, UM, FOR ALL OF OUR EVENTS THAT WE DO, WHETHER IT IS THE, UM, EASTER EGG, UM, EVENT OR OUR HALLOWEEN EVENT, WE LOOK FOR SPONSORS TO REDUCE SOME OF THAT COST.

AND SO THAT'S WHAT OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPERVISOR IS DOING.

SHE'S GOTTEN HER FOOT IN THE DOOR AND MANY OF THE CORPORATIONS AROUND HERE.

SO WE LOOK TO, UM, CAPITALIZE ON THOSE RELATIONSHIPS.

AND THEN THE LAST THING THAT I WILL MENTION BEFORE TURNING IT OVER TO MR. KOWALSKY, UM, RIGHT BELOW OUR, JUST A REMINDER OF WHAT OUR MEMBERSHIP RATES CURRENTLY SET AT.

WE HAVE NOT HAD A RATE INCREASE SINCE 2019.

AND SO, UM, AS YOU CAN SEE, OUR FAMILY MEMBERSHIP IS $805 FOR THE YEAR NON-RESIDENT, UM, IS ABOUT $978.

WE HAVE BEGUN, UM, IN OUR BUDGET PROCESS AND JUST LOOKING FORWARD AND TRYING TO GET OUR REVENUE NUMBERS BACK UP TO WHERE THEY WERE IN 2019 AND OFFSET SOME OF OUR COSTS AS WE ARE CONSIDERING A RATE INCREASE FOR MEMBERS.

UM, SO WE'RE JUST NOW KIND OF TAKING A LOOK AT THAT AND WHAT IT WILL DO TO OUR BOTTOM LINE AND HOW MUCH THAT RATE INCREASE WILL BE.

UM, WE WOULD, IT'S WHEN

[00:40:01]

WE'RE ABLE TO PULL A, UM, A FULL PACKAGE TOGETHER, WE DEFINITELY WOULD LIKE TO COME BACK BEFORE YOU AND SHARE THAT INFORMATION, UM, WITH THE BOARD.

AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS I CAN ANSWER OR I'LL TURN IT OVER TO MR. KELSEY, I HAVE A QUESTION AND IT MIGHT BE ANY OF YOU THAT CAN ANSWER IT.

UM, SO PRE PANDEMIC, THE, THE, THE APEX WAS APPROACHING, BEING PROFITABLE OR GETTING CLOSE, RIGHT.

OR BREAKEVEN.

WE WERE PROFITABLE.

YEAH.

YOU WERE PROFIT.

YOU WEREN'T OKAY.

YEAH, VERY MUCH.

SO WE WERE MAKING ABOUT $500,000 A YEAR PROFIT ON THE FACILITY.

SO IF YOU ADD A THOUSAND MEMBERS AND IT'S, THIS IS PROBABLY WHAT YOU WERE, THAT'S WHY YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT RATE INCREASES.

YOU GET A 575,000 EXTRA REVENUE.

RIGHT.

OKAY, GREAT, GREAT SEGUE INTO MY PORTION OF THE PRESENTATION.

EXCELLENT.

OKAY, GOOD.

SO THAT'S MY QUESTION IS HOW DO YOU GET BACK TO FOR A SECOND? I DON'T THINK ERICA FOR A FANTASTIC PRESENTATION HAS BEEN THE FIRST DAY FOR A MINUTE.

AND THE TEAM FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS, SHE ACCEPTED HER OFFER YESTERDAY AND LIKE ANY GOOD DELEGATOR HE JUMPED IN.

SO THANK YOU, ERICA.

UH, MR. GLUE.

SO, UM, BASICALLY WE'RE UP AGAINST A COUPLE OF STRESS POINTS HERE.

NOT ONLY MEMBERSHIP, NOT BEING WHERE IT WAS BEFORE, BUT ALSO OUR SALARIES AND PAY RATES ARE INCREASING.

RIGHT.

WE HAVE KIND OF AN ARMS RACE WITH SISTER CITIES IN MANY RESPECTS FOR LIKE, SO, SO SORRY, I COULDN'T RESIST.

SO KIND OF LIKE AN AARON ROGERS THING, I DON'T KNOW, THAT'S IT? SO IT MAY NOT SEEM SIGNIFICANT WHEN WE, WHEN WE RAISED LIFEGUARD PAY BY DOLLAR OR TWO, BUT YOU EXPAND THAT IT'S AN EXPONENTIAL INCREASE ALMOST.

AND WE'RE UP AGAINST THAT.

SO OUR MEMBERSHIP RATES WILL NOT BE ABLE TO KEEP US COST RECOVERY.

AND AS I'LL GET INTO IN A FEW SLIDES HERE WITHOUT AN EXPANSION, WE HAVE NO MORE SPACE TO PROGRAM TO MAKE MORE MONEY OFF THE SQUARE FOOTAGE IN THE BUILDING.

SO LET'S START A CHALLENGE.

YOU KNOW, WE SUPPORT PAYING OUR EMPLOYEES A GREAT WAGE, UH, BUT AT SOME POINT WE'D COME UP AGAINST THAT IN OUR COST RECOVERY MISSION.

SO, SO, UH, ERICA, UH, LEFT ME WITH THE GOOD STORY HERE.

UH, WE HAVE SOME PROJECTS COMING UP.

THESE ARE ONES THAT YOU FOLKS SUPPORTED FOR US AND SURPRISE, SURPRISE BETWEEN A TIME WHEN WE GOT QUOTES AND QUANTITY FROM THIS GROUP COSTS WENT UP, IT NEVER HAPPENED.

I APOLOGIZE, IT'S AN ANOMALY, BUT PARKS AND RECREATION.

UH, SO WHAT WE'VE DONE THOUGH, WE'VE LOOKED AT OUR RESOURCES TO OFFSET THE DIFFERENCES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

SO ON THIS TABLE, YOU'LL SEE THE BUDGETED AMOUNTS FOR EACH OF THESE ITEMS, THE ACTUALS, THE DIFFERENCE, AND WHAT WE COVERED NINJA CROSS WAS A BIT OVER RECOVER THAT WITH OUR DEPARTMENT FUNDS, OUTDOOR SLIDES, LOOK AT THAT NUMBER, ALMOST A THREE FOLD INCREASE ON IT.

WE WENT TO COUNCIL ON TUESDAY AND REJECTED THAT BID.

SO WE REJECTED THAT.

AND RIGHT NOW THE TURN ON INVESTMENT IS NOT WORTH SPENDING $300,000 ON THOSE SLIDES AT THIS POINT, THE SAUNA A BIT SHORT AS WELL, COVERED THAT WITH DEPARTMENT FUNDS, UM, SIGNAGE, WE'RE ACTUALLY IN A GOOD SPACE WITH THAT ABOUT $50,000 IN SAVINGS THAT WE'D LOVE TO RE ALLOCATE AT SOME POINT WITH MCDC TO PERHAPS ANOTHER PROJECT HERE, OUTDOOR FITNESS, THAT NUMBER IS, IS EXTRAORDINARILY HIGH.

UH, IT IS EXCEPTIONAL.

SO WE DO THIS FOR A LIVING, RIGHT? WE BUILD FITNESS EQUIPMENT.

WE DO OUTDOOR PLAYGROUNDS.

WE'VE GOT INTO WITH THE VENDORS.

THEIR NUMBERS ARE JUST OUT OF CONTROL.

AND OUR LEAD TIME IS ALSO MANY, MANY MONTHS, UH, SO ABOUT $600,000 DIFFERENCE THERE.

AND THAT SAME THEME IS KIND OF CARRIED THROUGH HERE.

SO JUST TO SUMMARIZE, BUT IT JUST REALLY SAID WHAT WE COVERED, WHAT'S SHORT.

AND SO ON.

LET ME GO BACK TO THIS SLIDE AND A $600,000 DIFFERENCE.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR WAYS TO FUND THAT WITH DEPARTMENT FUNDS.

AT THIS POINT, WE ARE NOT COMING BACK TO MCDC ASKING FOR ANY MONEY TO COVER THAT EXPENSE.

UH, IF IT'S OKAY WITH THE GROUP, WE MAY COME BACK NEXT MONTH WHEN THE BUILDING SIGNAGE NUMBER IS FINALIZED AND PERHAPS REALLOCATE THAT MONEY AS WELL AS THE MONEY FOR OUTDOOR SLIDES INTO THAT OUTDOOR FITNESS ACCOUNT AS WELL.

SO NOT ASKING FOR ANY MORE MONEY PER SE, JUST REALLOCATING MONEY ALREADY GIVEN TO US.

AND THEN OF COURSE THE EXPANSION WE'VE BEEN SHARPENING OUR PENCILS ON THAT.

SO A VERY PRECISE NUMBER HERE THAT PROBABLY GOES UP ONE OR TWO PERCENTAGE POINTS AS I'M SPEAKING HERE.

AND SO THIS IS A HUGE PRODUCT FOR US.

WE UNDERSTAND IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS, MCCS PRIORITY LISTS KIND OF SHIFTING AROUND, UM,

[00:45:01]

THIS IS MAYBE A SECOND OR THIRD TIER PRIORITY, BUT WE WANT TO KEEP IT ON YOUR RADAR SCREEN BECAUSE IT IS IMPORTANT TO US TO HAVE THIS PROJECT DONE AT PRESENT.

WE HAVE MONEY SET ASIDE FOR DESIGN FEES, EVEN THOSE NUMBERS HAVE GONE UP.

SO THE DIFFERENCE IS ABOUT $400,000 IN DESIGN FEES JUST TO EXECUTE THE DRAWINGS FOR THAT.

WE HAVE NOT DISCOVERED A WAY TO FUND THAT.

AT THIS POINT, WE MET WITH A SPECIAL PROJECTS COMMITTEE PERHAPS A FEW MONTHS AGO, NOT LONGER, UH, AND THE DIRECTION WAS SEE IF WE CAN FIND SAVINGS IN OTHER PROJECTS WE HAVE GOING ON AND COME BACK TO THE BOARD, WHICH WE WILL.

UM, BUT IF IT'S ALL THE SAME, UH, TO MADAM CHAIR, I'D LOVE TO GET SOME FEEDBACK ON THE ALLOCATION IDEAS WE HAVE HERE, AS WELL AS WHAT, WHAT INSPIRATION OR ADVICE CAN GIVE US ON THE EXPANSION PROJECT BASED TIME.

AS I KNOW YOUR PLATE IS FULL RIGHT NOW, WE DO NOT WANT TO GO AHEAD AND SPEND $3 MILLION IN DESIGN FEES THAT THIS PROJECT WILL BE PUSHED OUT 5, 6, 7 YEARS.

CAUSE I HAVE A SHOT CLOCK IN THE CONTRACT WITH YOU.

SO AS CINDY AND I NEGOTIATED, WE HAVE UNTIL A CERTAIN DATES, 20, 23, IT MAY BE TO ACTUALLY START TO CONSTRUCTION ON THE PROJECT, THEREABOUTS.

UM, I'M NOT SURE WE'LL HIT THAT IN THE CURRENT MARKET JUST BASED UPON WHAT'S HAPPENING.

SO WITH THAT, I WILL STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS.

UM, INTERESTING.

AND I WOULD PROBABLY SAY FROM THE REALLOCATION PERSPECTIVE, I DON'T, I CAN'T SPEAK FOR THE BOARD.

THEY CAN SPEAK IT, BUT THAT, THAT WILL PROBABLY LET'S REALLOCATE TO SEE WHERE THOSE DOLLARS CAN GO TO SUPPORT SOME OF THESE, UM, OVER, UM, ACTUAL NUMBERS ON SOME OF THESE ITEMS. UM, THE EXPANSION THAT'S, THAT'S A LARGE NUMBER THAT WE WILL HAVE TO RECONVENE AND DISCUSS THE FEASIBILITY.

UM, AS, YOU KNOW, THINGS ARE ADJUSTING EVEN ON THE CITY PERSPECTIVE OF HOW DOLLARS AND THINGS ARE GOING TO BE ALLOCATED.

SO THAT IS SOMETHING, UH, AS A BOARD, WE WILL HAVE TO SIT DOWN AND DISCUSS A BIG AROUND, ASK A CLARIFYING QUESTION.

UM, THE 41 MILLION EXPANSION.

CAN YOU COMPARE THAT TO THE LAST NUMBER WE SAW FOR THAT SAME LEVEL OF BUILDING? WAS IT LIKE 34 MILS? I MEAN, SOMETHING LIKE THAT FOR THE EXPANSION ITSELF, CORRECT.

IT WAS IN THE MID THIRTIES WHEN WE STARTED TO BEAT, ACTUALLY WE ANTICIPATED ON $30 MILLION A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND THEY WENT UP TO 34 ISH.

YEAH, EXACTLY.

UH, AND NOW WITH THE CURRENT CLIMATE RENT, THIS IS THE CURRENT NUMBER IT'S LESS THAN A YEAR.

YES, SIR.

I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS.

I'LL JUST START WITH A COMMENT ON APEX OR THE EXPANSION.

UM, SOMEBODY IS GOING TO HAVE TO BOND FOR THAT, UM, EITHER THE CITY OR US.

RIGHT.

SO I FEEL LIKE WE NEED TO HAVE PROBABLY A CONVERSATION WITH COUNCIL AND STAFF AND, AND YOU GUYS, AND JUST HAVE A BROADER, MORE DETAILED DISCUSSION ABOUT THAT.

DEFINITELY NOT READY TO COMMENT ON THAT TODAY, BUT A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS.

UM, THE HYDRO COURSE, IF I JUST AM A MEMBER AND WALK IN, ARE THERE CERTAIN TIMES THAT I CAN USE THAT? OR CAN I JUST SAY, HEY, LET ME USE THAT.

OR HOW DOES THAT WORK IF MEMORY SERVES IT'S AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAYS AND CERTAIN TIMES YOUR, IS THAT CORRECT? CORRECT.

AND ALSO WE GOT MORE INTEREST FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING AT YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTIES AND WHATNOT.

JUST TRY TO HAVE THAT AS A PIECE OR AT LEAST OPEN DURING THOSE TIMES.

SO WOULD YOU SEE IT AS A DRIVER OF FUTURE MEMBERS AND KEEPING CURRENT MEMBERS ON BOARD? OKAY.

UM, AND JUST GOING BACK TO LIKE ALL OF YOUR GRAPHS THAT COMPARE THE VARIOUS YEARS, UM, I JUST WANTED TO CONFIRM THOSE ARE ON FISCAL YEAR, RIGHT? SO LIKE, IF WE'RE LOOKING AT WHAT IS OCTOBER, 2019, THAT'S ACTUALLY ACTUALLY OCTOBER, 2018, RIGHT? CORRECT.

OKAY.

BECAUSE WHEN YOU GET INTO THAT 20, 20 VERSUS 21, SOME OF IT WASN'T ADDING UP IN TERMS OF WHERE THE PANDEMIC SHIFTED AND I WAS LIKE, THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE, BUT SINCE IT'S ON A FISCAL YEAR CALENDAR, THAT DOES MAKE SENSE.

DEPENDS ON THE KITS, SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR FISCAL YEAR.

RIGHT.

UM, LAST QUESTION, UM, WHERE, WHEN YOU ARE NOW NOT AT COST RECOVERY, WHERE DOES THE ADDITIONAL MONEY COME FROM? FROM A GENERAL FUND.

OKAY, COOL.

THAT'S ALL YET.

SO PROBABLY WHAT I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU, MAYBE YOU SHOULD DO A FUNDRAISER FOR THE NINJA COURSE, AND I'M GOING TO CHALLENGE MAYOR FULLER TO TO CHALLENGE ALL OF THEM.

I'M GOING TO PUT PETER ON THE, ON THE, WE GOING TO DO A FUNDRAISER AND ALL OF THE CHEERS AND THE MAYOR WILL LOSE HER, HAS TO DO THE BOND FOR .

SO WE WILL DO THAT AS A FUNDRAISER AND SEE WHO CAN FALL IN THE POOL FIRST.

SO, UM, I HAVEN'T COMPLETED THE DIFFICULT COURSE YET.

HE NOT,

[00:50:02]

MY JOKE AT RYAN IS THAT I WANT TO RAISE HIM ON THE COURSE.

COULD MAYBE THE ONLY TIME IT COULD BE HIM IN A RACE OVER POOL WATER TO A SWIMMING FOR CERTAIN, ANY OTHER QUESTIONS FOR, OKAY, WELL, IF I MAY MADAM CHAIR, UH, IF I CAN, UH, TURN THE MICROPHONE OVER TO THERESA.

ABSOLUTELY.

THE WEATHER WAS NOT IN OUR FAVOR LAST WEEK.

AND SO I MISSED MY OPPORTUNITY TO DO THIS.

SO I APPRECIATE YOU ALLOWING ME TO COME BACK, EVEN THOUGH I LEFT ON FRIDAY.

SO I WANTED TO JUST SAY, THANK YOU.

I COULDN'T HAVE DONE WHAT I DID WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF THE BOARD AND THE PEOPLE THAT SIT HERE IN THIS ROOM, AS WELL AS THE TEAM THAT ARE AT THE APEX CENTER.

AND IT WAS A GREAT JOURNEY AND I VERY MUCH ENJOYED BEING A PART OF THE FAMILY.

THAT'S THE CITY OF MCKINNEY.

AND I SAID, I'M JUST GOING TO COLLEGE.

I'LL COME BACK AND VISIT.

UM, I JUST WANTED THE OPPORTUNITY TO SAY THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND EVERYTHING THAT YOU'VE DONE TO MAKE THIS JOURNEY SO SUCCESSFUL AND IN SUCH A FUN PLACE TO BE.

SO THANK YOU.

THANK YOU, THERESA.

WE ENJOY THE TIME I'VE BEEN ON THE BOARD AND JUST TO BE ABLE TO MEET YOU AND THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR COMMITMENT THAT YOU'VE SHOWN, UM, THE APEX IN OUR COMMUNITY.

AND YOU CAN ALWAYS COME BACK HOME.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

WELL, I ASSURE YOU, I LEAVE YOU IN GOOD HANDS WITH ERIC AND BEHIND ME.

ALRIGHT, THANKS THERESA.

YOU DO.

YOU DID A GREAT JOB FOR US.

I AGREE WITH RICK.

THIS IS A LITTLE LIKE AARON ROGERS GOING TO THE VIKINGS.

UM, I'D PREFER TO SEE YOU GO TO, UM, YOU KNOW, YOU FOUND THAT THE AFC YEAH.

AN AFC TEAM INSTEAD OF, YOU KNOW, RIGHT ACROSS THE HIGHWAY, BUT CONGRATULATIONS.

OKAY.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

AND CONGRATULATIONS, ERICA, ON YOUR PROMOTION LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU.

[01:00:04]

SO DO WE WANT TO HAVE, WE CAN HAVE JUST A VERY SHORT DISCUSSION JUST IN TERMS OF PREPARATION FOR OUR MEETING IN A MONTH QUICKLY.

FINALLY NOTE, UM, SORRY ABOUT THIS GUYS.

OKAY, SO WE'RE GOING TO SHOOT THERE IT IS.

OKAY.

ALL RIGHT.

SO, UH, EVERY TIME WE'VE DONE THIS, UH, RECENTLY IN THE LAST THREE OR FOUR YEARS CAN ESSENTIALLY WHAT WE'VE DONE IS WE TOOK A LOOK AT OUR PRIORITIES, ET CETERA, ARE THESE STILL SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE LIST? AND THEN WHAT, UH, WHAT WE WERE THINKING, CINDY AND I TALKED ABOUT THIS ABOUT A WEEK AGO WAS IT'S KIND OF LIKE BEEN MORE OF THE SAME OVER THE COURSE OF THE LAST THREE OR FOUR YEARS ON THIS.

LET'S JUST SHIFT THAT SLIGHTLY, THIS TYPE OF THING.

SO WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS, UH, WE STILL ONLY WANT TO SPEND ABOUT AN HOUR, HOUR AND A HALF AT THE END OF OUR NEXT MEETING.

THERE SHOULD BE ENOUGH TIME, RIGHT.

CINDY, BASED ON WHAT IT'S LOOKING LIKE.

SO WE THOUGHT IT'D BE GOOD AT THIS MEETING TO JUST SORT OF HAND OUT A LITTLE BIT OF HOMEWORK TO EVERYBODY IN TERMS OF PREPARING FOR THE MEETING.

OKAY.

AND THE FIRST THING IS, AND WE COULD HAVE SOME, A LITTLE BIT OF DISCUSSION ON THIS.

IF WE HAVE TIME AFTER I'M DONE TALKING, NUMBER ONE IS WHAT DO YOU EACH WANT TO GET OUT OF A STRATEGIC PLANNING SESSION? SO WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE AFTER AN HOUR AND A HALF OF DIALOGUE IN A MONTH JUST TO LIST? IS IT CERTAIN POLICY CHANGES? WHAT IS IT THAT WE'RE TRYING TO GET TO? WE CAN HAVE A LITTLE DISCUSSION HERE, OR YOU COULD WRITE TO CINDY AND LINDA AT LEAST TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE.

SO WE MAKE SURE THAT WE SET UP THE DISCUSSION APPROPRIATELY.

OKAY.

SECOND ONE IS, UM, ARE THERE ANY PET PROJECTS THAT YOU PERSONALLY HAVE THAT YOU'D LIKE TO SEE ACCOMPLISHED WITHIN ONE TO THREE YEARS? OKAY.

LIKE FOR EXAMPLE, DEBRA, LAST YEAR ON THIS TIME YOU HAD A SPECIFIC PROJECT ABOUT, UH, YOU KNOW, WORKING YOUTH THAT WASN'T JUST SPORTS, RIGHT? SO IF YOU HAVE A PET PROJECT, IS IT SOMETHING THAT WE WANT TO EMBRACE? IT DOESN'T, IT DOESN'T MEAN WE'RE GOING TO WORK ON SEVEN PET PROJECTS, BUT LET'S HAVE A DISCUSSION ABOUT THAT.

AN EXAMPLE IN A WAY, A LITTLE BIT WAS A PET PROJECT ABOUT, UM, YOU KNOW, COLLABORATION AMONG NONPROFITS.

SO BECAUSE WE HAD THAT IN OUR MINDS, WHEN THE MUSTARD SEED PEOPLE CAME UP, WE SAID, OKAY, LET'S JUMP ON THAT OPPORTUNITY AND MAKE IT INTO SOMETHING ELSE.

AND IT WAS SUCCESSFUL IN DEVELOPING THE WHAT'S GOING ON WITH 100 MCKINNEY.

NOW I'M REMEMBERING A PREVIOUS DISCUSSION THAT WE HAD WHERE THERE WAS, THERE WAS A LIST I'M GOING TO GET THAT.

OKAY.

SO WE'RE RE ARE WE GOING TO REVISIT OUR OLD LIST? YES, WE SHOULD DO THAT FOR SURE.

YEAH.

AND BY THE WAY, AND LYNDON AND CINDY ARE HANDING OUT OR EMAILING OUT THE LIST, ALL KINDS OF DIFFERENT THINGS AS PART OF THE PART OF THIS HOMEWORK.

OKAY.

I THINK THAT'S GREAT.

AND I WANT TO LOOK AT THE LIST AGAIN FOR LIKE FUTURE, BUT I WANT TO REVISIT LAST YEAR, YOU KNOW, OUR PREVIOUS, UM, RANKINGS ON THAT, ON THAT LIST, WE, WE DIDN'T DO A RANKING REALLY RANK THEM.

OKAY.

I JUST WOULD LIKE TO GO BACK AND LOOK AT THAT AGAIN, TO SEE WHERE WE ARE AT, ON PROGRESS FROM OUR PREVIOUS PRIORITIES.

AND DEFINITELY, YEAH, JUST COMPARE THAT TO THE NEW LIST.

SO ITEM THREE IS ABOUT THE LIST, UH, WHICH IS WE HAVE THIS LIST IT'S LIKE ABOUT 12 ITEMS. YOU'LL ALL SEE IT.

THEY AREN'T REALLY RANKED IN ORDER ABOUT A YEAR AGO.

WE DECIDED WHEN WE MET LAST TIME, IT WASN'T REALLY WORTH TRYING TO SAY, WELL, WHICH IS NUMBER ONE AND NUMBER SEVEN, YOU KNOW, WE JUST HAD IT THERE AND WE WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT IT WAS FRONT AND CENTER ALL THE TIME.

SO LOOK AT THAT LIST.

IS THERE SOMETHING THAT'S MISSING? IS THERE SOMETHING THAT'S REDUNDANT? IS THERE SOMETHING THAT'S JUST WHAT WE KIND OF ALREADY DID THAT LET'S SPEND OUR MONEY OR SPEND THE PUBLIC'S MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

OKAY.

SO CAN I ASK A QUESTION? SO SHOULD WE, ONCE WE GET THE LIST, THE PREVIOUS LIST OR SO, OR ADD TO IT, SHOULD WE THEN MAYBE INDIVIDUALLY GO AND RANK INDIVIDUAL INDIVIDUALLY RANK THEM, AND THEN WE CAN SEND OUR RANKING TO LINDA AND SANDY TO SEE THAT MAYBE ARE COLLECTIVELY, DID WE KIND OF ALIGN AS A, AS A GROUP? UM, LIKE, OH YEAH, FOR Y'ALL SAID Y'ALL RANKED THIS ONE, NUMBER ONE, OR, YOU KNOW, A MAJORITY SAID THEY RANKED THIS.

THEY MAY ALSO HELP US KINDA NARROW DOWN OTHER THINGS WE MAY WANT TO FOCUS ON.

SO YEAH.

AND IN WORKING WITH CINDY TO PUT THIS PIE CHART TOGETHER, IT WAS FOR ME, A VERY ILLUMINATING EXERCISE INTO SEEING HISTORICALLY WHERE OUR DOLLARS HAVE GONE.

UM, AND WHAT SLIGHT, WHAT EACH OF

[01:05:01]

THOSE SLICES IS.

SO HAVING SOME STRATEGIC THOUGHTS ABOUT WHERE YOU ALIGN DOLLARS WITH PROJECTS, UM, BECOMES REALLY IMPORTANT WHEN YOU SEE HOW BALANCED OR UNBALANCED THAT PIE CHART REALLY IS WHERE THE LARGEST SEGMENT OF OUR FUNDING IS, IS ACTUALLY GOING.

SO IT MAKES THE PRIORITIES INDIVIDUAL OR COLLECTIVE THAT MUCH MORE IMPORTANT TO DECIDE IT GOES HAND-IN-HAND WITH REVIEWING THE LIST, AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THAT CHART, TWO THIRDS OF ALL MONEY IN THE LAST 20 YEARS IS GOING TO PARKS.

AND WHERE ARE WE IN THAT COMMITMENT? WHAT YEAR ARE WE IN THAT TEAM? WE DON'T FINISH UNTIL 2025.

THE OTHER THING THAT I WANTED TO MENTION WAS SEVERAL YEARS AGO, PROBABLY FOR ONE OF THE PRIORITIES, BECAUSE WE WERE SO LIMITED ON A RETAIL DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT, THAT WAS SORT OF A STRONGER AREA OF FOCUS.

AND I THINK IN TERMS OF WHAT'S BEEN DELIVERED ON THAT ITEM IS PRETTY STRONG, UM, BETWEEN HAVE 1 21 DISTRICT, 1 21 IN THE HUB.

SO MAYBE THAT IS SOMETHING THAT AS THE BOARD TAKES A LOWER PRIORITY, GOING FORWARD, AS THOSE PROJECTS COME TO US THREE YEARS AGO, WE KEPT SAYING WE GOT TO GET SOMETHING GOING ON 1 21.

I THINK WE'RE ALL 1 21 DOWN.

I THINK WE'RE GOOD.

RIGHT.

AND GOING BACK TO THE PARKS AND REC, WHEN DO YOU THINK WE WILL HAVE GUIDANCE FROM COUNCIL AS TO WHAT HAPPENS AFTER 2020? LIKE WHAT YEAR DO YOU EXPECT THEM TO START TALKING ABOUT THAT? UM, I DON'T KNOW.

I THINK IT DEPENDS ON SEVERAL THINGS.

ONE IS THE PROJECT NORTH OF THREE 80, UH, AND WHAT THAT, IF THAT COMES TOGETHER, WHAT THAT BRINGS TO US, I THINK IT DEPENDS ON SALES TAX REVENUE PERFORMANCE AND WHAT WE ENDED UP DOING.

IF WE ENDED UP FUNDING, UM, SOME OF THE NEED FOR HIGHER, UH, ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE, WHAT THAT DOES TO OUR REVENUES DECISION ABOUT WHAT WE'RE DOING, IF ANYTHING, ON APEX EXPANSION, UM, YOU KNOW, MAYBE IT'S A PEX EXPANSION, BUT WE'RE NOT CONTINUING FIVE AND A HALF MILLION.

I MEAN, THERE ARE A LOT OF DIFFERENT WAYS YOU CAN, YOU CAN, YEAH, PROBABLY NOT IN THE NEXT YEAR OR TWO, BUT I'M THINKING 24 FOR SURE.

IF WE'RE GOING TO DO, I'M NOT GOING TO BE HERE, BUT IN 2024, FOR SURE IF WE'RE GOING TO DO SOME KIND OF THING LIKE THIS, THAT WOULD NEED TO BE AND SAID, YOU KNOW, NOW, WELL, THAT CONVERSATION IS VERY DEPENDENT ON THE OUTCOME OF THE ROAD'S CONVERSATION AND THIS SLIDE IS EXTREMELY INFLUENTIAL IN AND SHOULD BE EXTREMELY INFLUENTIAL IN THAT ROAD'S CONVERSATION.

I THINK, UM, I, I WOULD, I'M GONNA TAKE SOME TIME AND THINK ABOUT IT AND I'LL SEND COMMENTS TO CINDY AND LINDA, BUT OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD, UH, MY PERSONAL TOP PRIORITY, OR WHAT I SEE IS KIND OF A LEGACY PROJECT FOR THIS BOARD IS THE HUB, THE NEW, NOT THE, NOT THE HUB PROJECT, BUT I'M TALKING ABOUT THIS NONPROFIT HUB, THE SERVE MCKINNEY MODEL THAT CATHERINE RICK HAVE WORKED, UM, TO BRING US TO IN THAT LOVE LIFE IS MOVING TOWARDS.

I, I WANT TO ENCOURAGE THAT AND SUPPORT THAT AND NURTURE THAT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

AND SO FOR ME THAT I THINK THAT'S MY TOP PRIORITY.

I'M GOING TO CONTINUE TO THINK ABOUT IT, BUT THE DIFFICULT THING AT THIS POINT IN TIME THOUGH, IS THERE'S NOT A LOT THAT WE CAN DO WHEN THEY DECIDE THEY'RE GONNA, THEY'RE READY TO, TO BUILD A BUILDING OR THEY'RE DOING THINGS THAT WOULD BE ELIGIBLE FOR US TO CONSIDER.

I UNDERSTAND NOW THERE'S GONNA BE, OH, I, I KNOW THAT, I KNOW THAT FUNDING OF THAT MAY BE FARTHER OFF, BUT IF WE CONTINUE TO COMMIT TO BEING THERE, WHEN THEY NEED US, IT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE THAT BALL FORWARD AS THEY BUILD MOMENTUM AND SUPPORT FOR IT AS THEY ARE GOING OUT, LOOKING FOR, UM, SUPPORT, YOU KNOW, CORNERSTONE FUNDERS, UNDERSTANDING AND HAVING THAT OUT IN THE PUBLIC, THAT WE ARE THERE WHEN THEY NEED US.

AND THAT THIS IS IMPORTANT TO US, I THINK WILL BE IMPORTANT TO THEM.

ANGIE, I LIKE YOUR IDEA OF, UM, COMING ONCE WE PRIORITIZE OUR OWN WIST TO, UH, BRING IT TOGETHER COLLECTIVELY, I THINK THAT MOVES THE CONVERSATION A LITTLE BIT EASIER INSTEAD OF US ALL INDIVIDUALLY GOING IN A ROW, CROP IT OUT AND ENJOY AN HOUR AND A HALF DISCUSSION ON STRATEGIC PLANNING.

BUT I'M JUST THINKING IN TERMS OF, AT LEAST WE CAN KNOW COLLECTIVELY WHAT WE'RE THINKING, WHICH CAN DRIVE THE CONVERSATION.

YEAH.

SO MAYBE EVEN PUT IT LIKE IN A SURVEY FORMAT, LIKE, UH, YOU KNOW, AND HE'S GONNA PUT IT IN A XL, YOU SOME POST-ITS AND WHITE WORDS AND SEE WHERE PEOPLE ALIGNED.

YOU CAN DO THAT EVEN AS AN ACTIVE GREAT IDEA GETS IT STARTED REALLY QUICK.

YEAH.

UH, TWO MORE THINGS THAT WE, WE WERE THINKING ABOUT BRINGING UP

[01:10:01]

IN THE SESSION, UM, AND AGAIN, REQUIRING A BIT OF PREPARATION.

ONE IS FOR SOME FORETHOUGHT ON ANY ISSUES THAT THE DAY OR OPPORTUNITIES THAT THE DAY THAT WE SHOULD BE TRYING TO EMBRACE AS WE ARE CONSIDERING PROJECTS OR, OR PROACTIVE INITIATIVES, EXAMPLES THAT, UH, CINDY AND I CAME UP WITH, UH, SOMETHING LIKE DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION, YOU KNOW, IS THERE ANYTHING THAT WOULD, YOU KNOW, DRIVE CERTAIN PROJECTS MORE THAN OTHERS IN A WAY ANOTHER ISSUE IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT, BUT THE IDEA OF, UH, PUBLIC SPACES, WALKABLE, DOWNTOWNS, THAT TYPE OF THING, YOU KNOW, IS THAT SOMETHING I'M NOT, AND I'M NOT PUSHING THESE TWO FORWARD AS MY TWO ISSUES OR CINDY'S TWO ISSUES.

THESE WERE JUST EXAMPLES THAT WE COULD THINK OF.

ONE OF THE THINGS ON, SORRY, ON DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION.

UM, WHAT WE TALKED ABOUT WAS SHOULD THAT BE A FILTER THAT WE USE WHEN WE'RE LOOKING AT PROJECTS? NOT IT DOESN'T NECESSARILY HAVE TO BE A DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION PROJECT, BUT DOES IT HELP MOVE THAT, MOVE THAT? SO ALL PROJECTS MUST HAVE SOME KIND OF DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION LIKE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB.

IT'S NOT PRESENTED AS A DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION PROJECT, BUT I THINK IT CERTAINLY WOULD BE AN EXAMPLE.

YEAH.

I THINK IF WE COULD, WE COULD TAKE HIM AND PUT KIND OF LIKE SOME CHECKBOXES AT THE END AND SAY GUIDELINES A GUIDELINE.

IT'S NOT A REQUIREMENT.

HEY, WE, WE MET THIS GOAL BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT THIS PROJECT DOES.

AND WE KIND OF MET THIS GOAL.

YOU KNOW, IT DOESN'T, IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE A CRITERIA, BUT IF IT, IF WE HAVE SOME INTERNAL, UM, CORNERSTONES THAT WE WANT TO SEE, AT LEAST WE CAN SAY, BUT THIS PROJECT MET THAT GOAL, THIS, YOU KNOW, KIND OF THOSE PILLARS.

WE COULD CREATE SOME PILLARS INTERNALLY THAT WE COULD THEN KIND OF SAY, WE DID THIS.

WE DID NOT NECESSARILY LITMUS TESTS.

IT'S NOT LIKE IF IT DOESN'T HAVE THIS RIGHT.

OF WITH KEEPING TRACK OF IT AND POSSIBLY IF YOU COULD EMAIL US THAT WITH THE AGENDA EVERY MONTH, JUST SO WE WOULD HAVE A COPY TOO, AS WE WERE LOOKING AT THE AGENDAS ITEMS OURSELVES, I MEAN, NOT NECESSARILY ATTACHED TO THE AGENDA, JUST IN, YOU KNOW, JUST SO THAT IT'S CONSTANTLY PRESENTED TO AS, OKAY, THIS MONTH, HERE'S YOUR CHECKLIST.

SO WHEN YOU'RE GOING THROUGH AND LOOKING AT THE AGENDA, YOU CAN PERSONALLY SEE HOW IT FITS FOR YOUR OWN PERSONAL, AND IT'S VERY HELPFUL WHEN WE'RE EVALUATING.

AND I WOULD SAY IT SHOULD BE PART OF OUR MISSION, NOT AN INTERNAL SET OF, UM, IT SHOULD BE PART OF OUR, IT REALLY SHOULD BE.

AND I THINK IT COULD BE PART OF OUR BRANDING MESSAGE.

VERY GOOD.

AND FRANKLY, I THINK IT IS HOW WE LIVE RIGHT NOW.

I THINK WE ARE DOING, WE ALL HAVE A MEASURING EYE AND WE CAN, WE CAN MEASURE, AND WE CAN PUT THAT IN AS A CRITERIA.

I'M ALL ABOUT IT.

I JUST, THERE ARE A LOT OF, A LOT OF ORGANIZATIONS OF THIS TYPE OF ALL TYPES THAT ARE NOT EVEN APPROACHING THE SUCCESS THAT WE HAVE HAD WITH, UM, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION.

FIRST OF ALL, LOOK AT ME AND RICK, UM, YOU KNOW, THE MINORITY HERE AND, UM, ALL OF THESE WOMEN AROUND US.

AND, UM, I THINK WE DO AN AWESOME JOB AND WE SHOULD CONTINUE TO PUSH THAT AS A PRIORITY.

UM, AND, UM, BUT ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE ARE DOING A LOT OF COOL THINGS.

UM, IN THAT RESPECT, YOU KNOW, THE, THE STRIDES WE TAKE TO INCLUDE THE COMMUNITY ON THE EAST SIDE, AS WE DO THESE PROJECTS AND, UM, DEBRA'S LEADERSHIP ON AN ANGIE'S LEADERSHIP ON THOSE COMMITTEES WITH THE CITY.

UM, WE DO A LOT OF GOOD STUFF AND I BET THERE ARE SOME PRETTY IMPRESSIVE HIS, YOU KNOW, PROJECT DATA THAT WOULD BACK THAT UP.

UM, AND BOTH, YOU KNOW, AND THE COMPOSITION OF HOW THIS BOARD HAS GROWN AND MORPHED OVER THE YEARS TOO.

UM, I DON'T KNOW THAT HISTORY ENTIRELY, BUT, UM, I WOULD SAY IT'S, UM, COMMENDABLE MAYBE WORTH WHEN WE LOOK AT THAT WHOLE CONCEPT OF DEI, UM, TO EVEN SIT THROUGH, UM, AS A BOARD, SOME TRAINING TO, TO START TO THINK ABOUT, UM, I KNOW THAT MOST DEI INITIATIVES DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS, WHERE YOUR, YOUR INSTITUTION, YOUR, YOUR BUSINESS IS LOOKING THROUGH THAT LENS AND IT MAY BE WORTH US.

UM, EVEN IF WE PULL SOME TRAINING THAT'S AVAILABLE FOR .

YEAH.

YEAH.

I THINK THAT WOULD CHAMBER OFFERED SOMETHING AT SOME POINT.

YEAH, I THINK THAT W I THINK THAT'S A GREAT IDEA.

I THINK WE ALL THINK WE HAVE GRASP WITHIN WHEN YOU REALLY START LOOKING INTO IT.

IT'S JUST KIND OF SEEING THINGS, UM, UH, THROUGH A LENS THAT MAYBE YOU HADN'T CONSIDERED BEFORE.

SO THAT COULD HELP US, UM, AS WE'RE CREATING THAT, YOU KNOW, CHECKLISTS METRICS, WHATEVER IT IS THAT WE HAVE IS IF IT BECOMES UP FOR A WEEK.

I LIKE THAT IDEA.

[01:15:01]

UM, THERE'S ONE LAST ONE, AND CINDY TOLD ME TO KEEP IT BRIEF, SO I DON'T WANT TO GET BLAMED FOR A, UH, UH, WELL, WE'RE ALREADY DOING ALL RIGHT.

BUT THE LAST THING THAT WE WANT TO THINK ABOUT GOING IN IS THIS, WE ALWAYS WANT TO ENCOURAGE PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS.

WE ALWAYS SAID, WE WANT TO DO IT.

PERHAPS WE SHOULD DO THINGS WHERE WE STRUCTURE, HOW THOSE COULD BE A LITTLE BIT MORE GOING IN SO THAT WHEN PEOPLE ARE COMING, UM, WHAT WAS THAT? OH, OKAY.

SO THAT WHEN PEOPLE, WHEN, WHEN PEOPLE, UM, COME IN, THEY UNDERSTAND THERE'S, THERE MIGHT BE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR LOANS INSTEAD OF GRANTS.

ARE THERE THINGS LIKE THAT? SO THINK ABOUT THAT AS A WAY, WHEN PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS ARE COMING IN, WANT TO FUND A BUSINESS THAT DOES HAVE QUALITY OF LIFE ELEMENTS, DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE A GRANT? RIGHT? THE MOST SUCCESSFUL ONE WE HAD, WASN'T A GRAIN, RIGHT.

PSA WAS A VERY SUCCESSFUL THING.

I THINK IT'D BE NICE TO SEE AGAIN, SOME, UM, GUIDELINES FOR US WHEN WE TALK ABOUT THAT, BECAUSE IN MY MIND, IF WE, IF WE HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR, UM, THAT IF WE'RE GOING TO SUPPORT THIS IDEA OF A PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP, I THINK IF WE HAVE SOME GUIDELINES GOING INTO IT, CAUSE SOMETIMES WHEN WE'VE HAD THESE DISCUSSIONS, I FEEL LIKE IT'S JUST SORT OF LIKE, YEAH, THIS SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA, BUT IF WE CAN NARROW IT DOWN TO WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE, SO THAT WHEN WE HAVE THOSE DISCUSSIONS, WE CAN KIND OF NAIL IT DOWN TO THE, YOU KNOW, ALMOST LIKE A GUIDE BOOK OR A GUIDE SHEET SO THAT WE CAN REFERENCE IT BACK AND SAY, IF WE SEE THIS AS AN OPPORTUNITY, THIS IS THE FEEDBACK SPECIFICALLY THAT WE CAN GIVE SOMEONE RELATED TO THAT, BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT WE AGREE, UM, THAT COULD LOOK LIKE, UM, AS PERCENTAGE, YOU KNOW, WHATEVER THAT LOOKS LIKE.

I THINK THAT WOULD HELP THE DISCUSSION.

SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE IN THAT WAY, WE'RE A LITTLE, ALL OVER THE PLACE.

IT ALSO HELPS YOUR SPECIAL PROJECTS COMMITTEE WHEN YOU'RE MEETING EARLY WITH THE GUYS, RIGHT.

IF YOU CAN TALK ABOUT, WELL, YOU KNOW, THIS IS THE TYPE OF THING WE DO.

YEAH.

THE, WHAT I STRUGGLE WITH IS, AND I, IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL TO ME TO HAVE THE BOARD PRIORITIES AND UNDERSTAND WHERE THE BOARD IS ON POLICY.

BUT IF WE PUT A POLICY IN PLACE AND THEN WE KEEP IGNORING IT, OR WE, WE DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO IT, I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO THAT SITUATION.

SO HOW DO WE THINK THROUGH, OR, OR CREATE THOSE CAVEATS, THIS IS THE WAY WE'RE GOING TO DO IT, UNLESS THERE'S SOMETHING REALLY SPECIAL ABOUT THIS, OR I JUST, AS YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT IT, JUST THINK ABOUT THAT PART OF IT AS WELL.

WHEN WE HAVE THINGS LIKE, WHETHER IT'S, UH, INFRASTRUCTURE FOR A PROJECT LIKE DISTRICT 1 21, OR A HOTEL THAT'S PUBLIC PRIVATE, UM, IT WOULD BE REALLY HELPFUL TO HAVE, HAVE THOSE GUIDELINES IN PLACE.

OKAY.

ANY, ANY OTHER DISCUSSION? THANK YOU, RICK, FOR THAT FEEDBACK.

THANK YOU FOR THAT GUIDANCE AS WE HAVE HOMEWORK TO DO.

THANK YOU.

I DON'T KNOW IF WE WERE ALL SUPPOSED TO WRITE THAT DOWN OR IF CINDY OR I COULD JUST SEND A LITTLE EMAIL ON WHAT THEY SAID.

I WROTE IT, BUT A LITTLE REMINDER, KIND OF.

YEAH.

I WROTE SOME.

SO WHEN WE SEND IT OUT, IF WE DIDN'T CAPTURE IT, OKAY.

WE HAVE A COUPLE OF ACTION ITEMS OUT OF EXECUTIVE SESSION.

FIRST I MOVE TO APPROVE AMENDMENT TO THE BLUE SKY PROJECT AGREEMENT AS DISCUSSED IN EXECUTIVE SESSION.

SECOND, SECOND BY ME, SECOND BY RICK

[ACTION ON EXECUTIVE SESSION]

MOTION PASSES.

THANK YOU.

UM, AND CAN I GET A MOTION TO ADJOURN? SO MOVED SECOND OCEAN PAT.

OKAY.

THEN THAT'S THE WRONG ONE.

OKAY.

THAT'S THE WRONG ONE.

SO WE NEED TO KNOW WHERE TO PARK FOR THE HEB THING.

I'M GOING TO HAVE TO SKIP THAT ONE.

THANK YOU.

THANK YOU.
