THOSE ARE THINGS THAT YOU ASKED STAFF TO LOOK AT IN MORE DETAIL AND BRING MORE INFORMATION BACK SO THE COUNCIL CAN MAKE SOME POLICY DECISIONS ON WHERE WE WANT HISTORIC PRESERVATION TO GO. OUR STAFF IS WORKING REALLY HARD ON THAT. WE ANTICIPATE BRINGING THAT INFORMATION BACK TO YOU A LITTLE LATER THIS YEAR TO GET DIRECTION AT THE END OF THE YEAR, AS RELATED TO WHERE WE WANT TO GO WITH SOME OF THESE ITEMS. THAT'S NOT TO INCLUDE MONEY THAT IS UNDERNEATH THAT 477 MILLION FOR OTHER FACILITIES FOR OTHER PUBLIC SAFETY FOR PARKS PROJECTS. THESE ARE JUST THE HIGH DOLLAR TICKET ITEMS THAT WE'RE HIGHLIGHTING HERE, SO THIS ISN'T EVERYTHING. IT'S JUST THE ONES THAT KIND OF HAVE THE BIGGEST BANG FOR THE BUCK. SO I'LL POINT OUT AGAIN. THAT'S RIGHT AT HALF A BILLION DOLLARS OF UNFUNDED PROJECTS OR PROJECTS THAT ARE BEING REQUESTED OR BEING FORECASTED FOR NEED IN THE OUT YEARS. SO WE MARRY THAT UP WITH OKAY. WHAT CAN WE AFFORD TO PAY FOR IF WE WERE TO, UM LOOK AT OUR 10 YEAR CAPACITY ON A DEBT ISSUANCE SIDE AT THE MAIN AT THE CURRENT INS RATE, OR THE CURRENT DEBT CAPACITY THAT WE HAVE ON THE DEBT SIDE OF THE TAX RATE. WHAT DOES THAT DOLLAR FIGURE GIVE US AND THAT NUMBER IS ROUGHLY $687 MILLION OVER THE NEXT 10 YEARS. IN 2018. WE CAME BEFORE YOU AND WE SAID, HEY, IT'S RIGHT AT 500 MILLION, SO WE SEE THAT INCREASE OCCURRING OR MANAGING THE DEBT? FOR EXAMPLE, A PARALLEL TAXIWAY ON THE EAST SIDE THAT WOULD PROVIDE CONNECTIVITY FOR ANY TYPE OF AERONAUTICAL DEVELOPMENT ON ON THE EAST SIDE IS PROBABLY IN AND OF ITSELF. A $33 MILLION PROJECT. DEPENDENT ON WHEN WE STARTED AND HOW WE FACE IT. AND THEN THERE'S THE ISSUES OF CONNECTIVITY FROM THE LANDSIDE FOR SURFACE TRANSPORTATION. AND WE FEEL THAT FIRST TWO GUIDING PRINCIPLES THAT WE LANDED ON ARE ALSO WELL ALIGNED WITH THIS INITIATIVE TO MAXIMIZE THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE AIRPORT TO THE ECONOMIC GROWTH OF THE CITY AND THE REGION. AND TO DEVELOP THE INFRASTRUCTURE, BASICALLY WITH THE HIGHEST AND BEST USE OF AIRPORT PROPERTIES AND ASSETS. SO WE TOOK SOME ACTION IN JANUARY. 2020 22 TO REALLY START TO LOOK MORE DETAILED AT THE EAST SIDE AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE OF THOSE FACILITIES AND REALLY INITIATED TWO PROJECTS, ONE WITH GARVER, WHICH IS BASICALLY ADDRESSING ALL THESE BULLET ITEMS THAT YOU SEE HERE. MODERN LEGACY DEVELOPMENTS AND THINGS OVER THE START WHATNOT. WE THINK WE HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY AS A CITY AND WE THINK IT IS THE RIGHT TIME TO COME FORWARD AND START HAVING THIS CONVERSATION TO HAVE A BOND COMMITTEE TO LOOK AT WHAT IS POSSIBLE AND TO HELP US CONSIDER WHAT TO TAKE TO THE VOTERS FOR AUTHORIZATION. SO THESE ARE THINGS LIKE A 1500 FT RUNWAY EXTENSION 500 FT. TO THE SOUTH 1000 FT TO THE NORTH. YOU'RE GOING TO SEE BY THE END OF THIS YEAR. HOPEFULLY CONSTRUCTION ON THAT SOUTH END AND WHEN THAT'S DONE WELL. TURN AROUND AND BUILD THE 1000 FT TO THE NORTH, AND THAT'S GOING TO GIVE US A RUNWAY THAT'S CAPABLE OF LANDING HALL OF THE CORPORATE JETS THAT ARE CURRENTLY AT OUR AIRPORT AND HOPEFULLY ATTRACTING MORE TO OUR AIRPORT. EAST SIDE RAMP SPACE MUCH LIKE WE ARE EXPANDING THE RAMP SPACE OVER HERE. THERE IS A NEED ON THIS SIDE FOR RAMP SPACE ACCESS ROADS, UTILITIES HANGERS, TERMINAL BUILDING. THAT IS SOMETHING THAT WE'VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THE WIND IS THAT THE IDEA OF A COMMERCIAL TERMINAL VIABLE AT MCKINNEY. WE NEED TO LOOK INTO THAT AND SEE WHEN WE CAN MAKE THAT A POSSIBILITY. WE HAD A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO THOUGHT MCKINNEY AIRPORT WAS ACTUALLY IN WESTERN MCKINNEY, WHICH IS A PRIVATE AIRPORT THAT WE DO NOT OWN AND DO NOT OPERATE, BUT PEOPLE WERE NOT AWARE EVEN THAT WE HAD THE AIRPORT ON THE EAST SIDE.
