[CONSENT ITEMS]
DON'T SEE ANY DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ANYBODY HAS SIGNED DEBT SO WE WILL MOVE TO THE CONSENT AGENDA.ITEM NUMBER 22-1011 MINUTES OF THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION ADVISORY BOARD. REGULAR MEETING OF OCTOBER. THE 6TH 2022 DO WE HAVE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA? SO MOVED. MR. MCWILLIAMS, DO I HAVE A SECOND? THE SECOND IS HANDS. ANY FURTHER DISCUSSION. PLEASE CAST YOUR VOTE BY HAND ALL IN FAVOR. [Consider/Discuss/Act on a Request by Kayce Mershon for a Level 2 (Rehabilitation Level) Historic Neighborhood Improvement Zone Program Tax Exemption for the Property at 304 S. Waddill Street]
WILL MOVE ON TO THE REGULAR AGENDA. ITEM NUMBER HP 2022-010A REQUEST BY CASE IS IT CASEY CASE, CASEY? MARTIAN. I SHOULD HAVE ASKED THAT AND FOR LEVEL TWO REHABILITATION LEVEL HISTORIC NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT ZONE PROGRAM TAX EXEMPTION FOR THE PROPERTY AT 304. SOUTH WADDLE STREET, CASSIE BUM GARDEN. BUMGARNER WILL MAKE THE PRESENTATION. THANK YOU, CASSIE. ALRIGHT.WE'RE GOING TO GET THERE, I PROMISE. OKAY? HMM. THERE WE GO. THERE WE GO. GOOD EVENING. MY NAME IS CASSIE BUMGARNER, AND I AM THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION PLANNER FOR THE CITY OF MCKINNEY TONIGHT. THIS IS WE'RE LOOKING AT A LEVEL TWO AND IZ REHABILITATION LEVEL APPLICATION FOR THREE OR FOUR SOUTH WADDELL AND THE OWNERS ARE PRESENT TONIGHT. THE CRITERIA FOR LEVEL TWO REHABILITATION. LEVEL INCENTIVES ARE AS FOLLOWS. THE PROPERTY NEEDS TO BE AT LEAST 40 YEARS OLD, WHICH THE SUN WAS BUILT IN 1935. THE OWNER NEEDS TO RECEIVE A LETTER OF ELIGIBILITY FROM THE CITY OF MCKINNEY, VERIFYING THAT PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS QUALIFY FOR REHABILITATION INCENTIVE. SO THIS ONE'S A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT ON THIS ONE BECAUSE THE PROGRAM WAS PAUSED AT THE TIME. WE WERE NOT ACCEPTING NEW APPLICATIONS, SO THERE WAS NO FORMAL LETTER OF ELIGIBILITY. HOWEVER THEY DID RECEIVE AN APPROVED CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR THE REHABILITATION OF THE PROPERTY PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK. AND THEN ALSO NO LATER THAN 12 MONTHS FOLLOWING THE ISSUE ISSUANCE OF THE LETTER OF ELIGIBILITY THEY NEEDED TO COMPLETE OR CAUSE TO BE COMPLETED, VERIFIED ELIGIBLE IMPROVEMENTS HAVING COMBINED COST OF AT LEAST 10,000. SO IN YOUR PACKET, YOU'VE GOT A BREAKDOWN OF ALL THE COSTS AS WELL AS THE RECEIPTS. HOWEVER, I JUST WANTED TO GO OVER. THEY HAD OVER $10,000 AND IMPROVEMENTS, WHICH INCLUDED HVAC INSTALLATION. BRIEFING SANITARY , SEWER LINE REPLACEMENT, STRUCTURAL REPAIRS AND PAINTING. AND THEN THIS IS JUST A PHOTO THAT SHOWS A LITTLE BIT OF THE IMPROVEMENTS THAT THEY'VE DONE. WE HAVE REVIEWED THE REQUEST BY THE HOMEOWNERS AND FOUND THAT THEY MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS THAT H AND IZ PROGRAM FOR A LEVEL TWO REHABILITATION INCENTIVE. AND THAT CONCLUDES MY PRESENTATION.
THANK YOU. THANK YOU, CASSIE. YOU'RE WELCOME. THE APPLICANTS ARE HERE, AND, UH, WOULD YOU ALL LIKE TO COME UP AND MAKE A PRESENTATION? ANYTHING ELSE? OKAY? OKAY ALL RIGHT. THERE'S
[00:05:05]
THE BOARD HAVE ANY QUESTIONS? HELLO HAVE YOU? HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN THE HOME? YES.WOULD YOU MIND COMING UP HERE AND THAT MIGHT MAKE IT MORE VISUAL? YEAH. UM, WE MOVED INTO THE HOME IN APRIL, WHEN THE RENOVATION WAS COMPLETED. APRIL OF THIS YEAR THIS YEAR. YEAH.
WELL, THAT'S GREAT. I LOVE THANK YOU. THANK YOU. WE LOVE IT, TOO. SO YOU SAID THE H V A C INSTALLATION DID YOU ALL HAVE TO INSULT ALL NEW WE DID. WE HAD THE UNIT THAT WAS THERE PRIOR HAD BEEN. WE HAD REPAIRED IT SEVERAL TIMES, AND IT WAS IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. SO WE HAD A NEW UM, I THINK IT WAS A 14 SERIES UNIT INSTALLED WITH ALL NEW DUCTWORK AND EVERYTHING.
YEAH. ANYBODY ELSE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS? OKAY. ALRIGHT, DUDE, DO WE HAVE EMOTION? MEXICO'S WEST. MOVE. MOVE FOR APPROVAL. MR. MR WEBB. I HAVE A SECOND. SECOND SECOND PART, MR ODELL. UM ANY FURTHER DISCUSSION ON THIS? OKAY ALL IN FAVOR. RAISE YOUR HAND OPPOSED. OKAY PASSES.
UNANIMOUS THANK YOU SO MUCH. Y'ALL HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB, AND I LOVE WALKING BY EVERY DAY.
IT'S A IT'S A BEAUTIFUL HOMES THAT WERE HERE NOW. YEAH OKAY. WELL, APPRECIATE YOU PUTTING SO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT INTO IT. PICTURE. AND MONEY, TOO HONEY. THAT'S LIKE YEAH, OKAY. ALL
[Consider/Discuss/Act on a Certificate of Appropriateness Request by Matthew Crittenden for Demolition of the Building at 101 S. Chestnut Street]
RIGHT. WE'RE GONNA MOVE TO ITEM NUMBER HP 2022-010. THIS IS CONSIDERED DISCUSS ACT ON A CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS REQUEST BY MATTHEW. INDIAN OKAY FOR DEMOLITION OF THE BUILDING AT 101, SOUTH CHESTNUT STREET, AND CASSIE BUMGARNER WILL MAKE THE PRESENTATION FOR THE CITY.YOU WANT ME TO DO IT? OH, YEAH, YOU'RE IN IT. THERE WE GO. MHM. SO LIKE BETTY HAD STATED AH, THIS IS THE CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR DEMOLITION APPLICATION FOR ONE ON ONE SOUTH CHESTNUT STREET. LET'S GET STARTED. SO WHEN I WON SOUTH CHESTNUT STREET WAS BUILT IN 1927 TO 1930. I WILL GO A LITTLE BIT MORE IN DEPTH ON THAT IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF SLIDES AND THEN JUST 1/20 CENTURY COMMERCIAL STYLE. AND IT DOES HAVE A LOW PRIORITY RATING . UH LET ME JUST READ TO YOU ABOUT THAT. SO THAT'S FROM OUR 2015 UPDATE OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES SURVEY. PRIORITY BUILDINGS TYPIFY A COMMON LOCAL BUILDING FORM ARCHITECTURAL STYLE OR TYPE WITH LITTLE OR NO IDENTIFIED HISTORIC ASSOCIATIONS. IS A MODERATE TO SEVERELY ALTERED RESOURCE THAT EXEMPLIFIES A DISTINCTIVE BUILDING TYPE OR ARCHITECTURAL STYLE. OR THAT HAS ONLY MINOR HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE. STRUCTURE QUALIFIES FOR THIS CATEGORY BY AGE ALONE. AND CANNOT BE DISQUALIFIED BY ALTERATIONS. OKAY. CAN I INTERRUPT YOU THERE FOR JUST A MINUTE, JUST TO MAKE SURE I UNDERSTAND THAT SO YEAH. WOULD IT BEING A LOW PRIORITY? THAT DID DOES THAT MEAN THAT IT HAS BEEN ALTERED? IT WAS BUILT IN 1927. BUT IT HAS BEEN ALTERED . IS THAT IS THAT WHAT? YES SO WHEN THEY DO A LOW PRIORITY, THAT CAN MEAN SEVERAL DIFFERENT THINGS FOR THIS BUILDING. IN PARTICULAR, IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S SEEN ALTERATIONS AS WELL AS LACKS HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE. UM AS FAR AS LIKE WHEN YOU DESIGNATE SOMETHING YOU NEED TO HAVE, UM, SIGNIFICANCE AND INTEGRITY. IT'S KIND OF LACKING IN BOTH CATEGORIES. THEY GIVE IT A LOW PRIORITY RATING. OKAY? SO LIKE I SAID, I WOULD GET INTO THAT BUILT CIRCUIT DATE JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE SO IN 1927 YOU CAN SEE ON THE LEFT THERE. THIS WAS A LUMBER YARD. UM AND THAT
[00:10:01]
WOULD HAVE BEEN THE KIND OF SHAPE OF THE BUILDINGS ON THE PROPERTY. BUT THEN THE NEXT SAME BORN MAP THAT WE SEE HIS 1960. THAT'S WHERE YOU SEE IT CHANGE INTO THE SHAPE THAT WE KNOW SO WE THINK THAT IT HAPPENS CIRCA 1930, BUT WE'RE NOT 100. AND THEN JUST FOR REFERENCE 1962, AN AERIAL FROM 2022. AND THEN THE APPLICANT DID RECEIVE A REPORT FROM MONK CONSULTING ENGINEERS INCORPORATED WHO ADVISE THAT THE BUILDING HAD TWO MAJOR SUBSTANDARD ISSUES. THE FOUNDATION IS SEVERELY COMPROMISED AND SLOPES APPROXIMATELY THREE INCHES IN ONE DIRECTION AT THE REAR OF THE BUILDING. WHICH YOU CAN KIND OF SEE IN THAT BOTTOM LEFT PHOTO.AND THEN THE BUILDINGS. WOOD FRAMING IS SUBSTANDARD AS THE CEILING JOISTS ARE SAGGING. THE FRAMING OF THE CEILINGS AND THE REAR OF THE BUILDING ARE FRAMED LOWER THAN STANDARD CEILING HEIGHTS. AND THE ROOF SAGGED IN THE REAR OF THE BUILDING. AND THEN THESE NEXT FEW SLIDES ARE JUST GOING TO SHOW US, UM JUST GENERALLY THE CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY. WHAT'S THERE RIGHT NOW? THESE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN WITHIN THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS. AND THEN THE APPLICANT IS PROPOSING TO BUILD A NEW TWO STORY RETAIL BUILDING ON THE START ON THE SITE. THAT CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS WILL COME LATER AND WILL BE EVALUATED AT THE STAFF LEVEL AFTER A DECISION IS MADE TONIGHT. ABOUT THE DEMOLITION OF THE EXISTING BUILDING. UM I ALSO PASSED AROUND A PRINTOUT COPY. THAT'S A LITTLE BIT HIGHER QUALITY RENDERING OF WHAT THEIR NEW ONE IS THAT THE APPLICANTS SUBMITTED TODAY. AND THEN THAT CONCLUDES THE STAFF PRESENTATION FOR THE DEMOLITION. CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS. AND CONCLUDES OUR PRESENTATION.
THANK YOU. THANK YOU, CASSIE. AND I THINK THE APPLICANT IS PRESENT. YEAH YOU LIKE TO COME UP AND MAKE A PRESENTATION AND WE DON'T SAY IF YOU WANT TO THE ONLY THING AND JUST GIVE YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS, OKAY, SO TERRY, CAN MY NAME AND WHAT? YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS MY NAME IS BEN KEENEY AND I LIVE IN FAIRVIEW. SO WE OWN THE BUILDING. AND THIS PARTICULAR SECTION IS PART OF YOU CAN SEE THE BRICK PART. AND THAT'S ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE THERE. THIS PARTICULAR SECTION IS JUST IT'S IN TERRIBLE SHAPE. THE WHOLE FOUNDATION. YOU CAN THROW MARBLE , AND IT PROBABLY ROLLS 12 INCHES DOWNHILL. SO OUR PLAN WAS TO, YOU KNOW, INCREASE THE VALUE OF THE AREA. ALMOST TO BUILD A NEW BUILDING THERE, SO THAT'S STILL JUST OF THIS CONCEPT. WE LIKE DOWNTOWN. WE LOVE DOWNTOWN . UM WE DID GO THROUGH A FEW PRELIMINARY STUFF. THAT'S WHY IN THE RENDERING I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU GET THERE. YOU CAN SEE, WE'VE GOT MOST OF THE GLASS THAT MEETS CRITERIA. UM WE WANTED TO KIND OF CLIP THE CORNER AND PUT WOOD ON IT TO GIVE YOU KNOW, HOMAGE TO THE LUMBER YARD. SO WE'RE TRYING TO DO A FEW THINGS LIKE THAT. UM JUST TO MAKE IT LOOK BETTER. DO YOU OWN THIS BUILDING AND THE RIGHT BUILDING IS THIS IS THIS GONNA RIPPLE DOWN? I KNOW ABOUT THE DEMOLITION OR DO YOU HAVE ANY PLANS TO DO ANYTHING WITH THE BUILDING THAT WE'RE SEEING JUST A LITTLE BIT TO THE RIGHT. NOT YET. NOT AT THIS TIME. SO ORIGINALLY, I WAS GOING TO SUBMIT IT AS A REMODEL BECAUSE FOR ME, IT'S LIKE ALL ONE BUILDING, BUT YOU KNOW THIS ONE'S WOULD THE OTHER ONES BREAK? SO THIS ONE IS NEW. YOU KNOW, LATER, WE'LL PROBABLY WIND UP DOING SOMETHING. YOU KNOW IT'S A LITTLE BIT NICER, CLEAN UP THE OTHER SIDE. YEAH, BUT RIGHT NOW I HAVE TENANTS IN IT AND YOU KNOW THEY'VE GOT THEY'VE GOT LONG TERM LEASES. THAT UM GRADY LINENS THAT UH, YEAH. I WAS THINKING SHE'S A GREAT LADY.
YEAH. AND THEN THE BARBERSHOP. YES. PERHAPS IT'S SELF EVIDENT, BUT IS IT GOING TO BE USED AS A LUMBER YARD? WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO USE BUILDING? IT'S GOING TO BE RETAIL SO EITHER EITHER RESTAURANT GENERIC NAME SOMEBODY. YOU KNOW, THE BAKERY WENT IN ACROSS THE STREET, YOU KNOW? IDEALLY I WOULD LIKE A RESTAURANT IN THERE. YEAH BECAUSE YOU KNOW, IT'S GOT OUTDOOR DINING. AND WE ALL KNOW FROM COVID. IT WAS JUST A NIGHTMARE AND I ACTUALLY OWN THE GRASS AREA AND SOME I'M NOT BUILDING IT ALL THE WAY OUT BECAUSE OF SOME OF THE GUIDELINES. WE'VE GOT TO STAY IN LINE WITH THE OTHER BUILDINGS, SO THAT WILL ALL BE, YOU KNOW, OUTSIDE DINING. IT'S A VERY INTERESTING AREA IN MCKINNEY, RIGHT THERE, KIND OF LIKE IN,
[00:15:01]
BUT WE'RE NOT IN WERE ON THE OUTSKIRTS. IT'S IMPORTANT. YEAH BUT BUT WITH A NEW RENDERING, GOING ACROSS THE STREET AND ALL THAT, YOU KNOW THAT COULD HELP. IN THE FUTURE. BE NICE. YES SIR.SO YOU'RE PLANNING ON BUILDING IT OUT TO LOOK LIKE THIS AND THEN LEASING IT HAS TOP FLOOR SEPARATE AND THEN BOTTOM FLOOR SEPARATE. DO YOU WOULD BE THE LEAST AT ALL AS ONE TENANT AS ONE TENANT, OKAY? LIKE LIKE I SAID, IDEALLY, I'D LIKE A RESTAURANT IN THERE AND THEY COULD USE TOP AND BOTTOM, POSSIBLY STORY RESTAURANT WITH OUTDOOR IS IT IS, IT WILL BE TWO STORIES OR JUST BE HIGH CEILINGS WILL BE TWO STORIES. SO WE'LL HAVE THE SAME. I DON'T KNOW. CAN YOU PULL UP THE PICTURE? WE ALL HAVE THE PICTURE. OKAY, SO YOU SEE, UPSTAIRS IS KIND OF LIKE A PATIO AREA. YEAH MHM UPSTAIRS IS KIND OF LIKE PATIO. THAT'S NICE . NICE IDEA. I THINK THAT'S A GREAT I MEAN, THAT'S LIKE, IN MY OPINION. I THINK THAT'S A GREAT PLAN. GREAT FOR THE SQUARE. WE ARE GROWING THAT WAY. UM THAT COULD REALLY ADD TO THAT AREA OF THE SQUARE AS WELL. SO LOOKS COMPLEMENTARY TO WHAT CITY HALL AND PULLING UP IN THAT DIRECTION . IT LOOKS LIKE IT FITS.
CORRECT. THAT'S KIND OF WHAT WE WERE GOING. WE WERE TRYING TO GO. BEFORE SO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO WOULD BE INTERESTED IN LIKE THE RESTAURANT WISE. UM WE'RE RIGHT HERE AT THE DEMO STAGE. SO IT'S STILL EARLY DAYS, APPROVAL TO DEMO IT AND BUILD IT LIKE THIS, AND THEN I CAN START WORKING ON THAT STUFF. THANK YOU , AND JUST TO SPEAK TO ONE OF THE THINGS HE MENTIONED, SO IN OUR HISTORIC SURVEY, WE ACTUALLY HAVE THESE LISTED IN THE HISTORIC SURVEYS TO SEPARATE STRUCTURES. SO THE STRUCTURE THAT'S COMING DOWN AND THE OTHER STRUCTURE BECAUSE THERE'S KIND OF A PARTY WALL TYPE FIREWALL KIND OF THING. IN THE WITH THAT SEPARATION BETWEEN THE BRICK AND THE WOOD. SO YOU KNOW, I THINK WITH THE NEW CITY HALL CORNYN AND I THINK WE'RE PROBABLY GOING TO START SEEING A LOT MORE OF THIS. UM WHICH IS EXCITING. BUT I JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY. WHAT KIND OF GUIDELINES WE HAVE IN PLACE TO TRY TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT FITS. SO WHAT IS IT THAT WHAT IS IT THAT WE'RE USING? BECAUSE I KNOW THERE'S A LOT OF DIFFERENT LOOKING BUILDINGS DOWN THERE. SO WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO TO TRY TO KEEP IT CONSISTENT IN? SORRY SO I MENTIONED THAT THE LAST MEETING THAT MTC GUIDELINES AND THAT'S WHAT MEANT AND BEN OR REFERRING TO BEFORE IS WE HAVE GONE BACK AND FORTH AND KIND OF TALKED ABOUT HOW WE BALANCE MAINTAINING THE STREETSCAPE OF THE HISTORIC FACADE AS WELL AS FOLLOWING ALONG WITH THOSE MTZ MTC GUIDELINES TO HELP MAKE SURE THAT WE'RE USING MATERIALS THAT ARE APPROPRIATE TO THE DISTRICT, AND SO YOU SEE AND HEAR. THEY'VE GOT THIS WHITE UM, MATERIAL HERE. THAT'S BREAK RIGHT. AND SO THERE'S BRICK ON THE BUILDING. THERE'S YOU KNOW, THE KIND OF AWNINGS AND THINGS LIKE THAT. SO THE IDEA IS THAT YOU WORK WITHIN THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE MTC, AND THAT IS GUY GUIDELINE TO HELP US KIND OF STAY WITHIN THOSE SAME SIMILAR MATERIALS AND FINISHES AND SETBACKS AND STYLES THAT WE HAVE DOWNTOWN. YEAH, IT WAS A LITTLE DIFFERENT, AND THEN WE GOT SOME OF THESE GUIDELINES AND SOME FEEDBACK, SO WE NEEDED TO FIT INTO THAT. AND SO WE'VE MADE THOSE SMALL CHANGES. UM AND ACTUALLY, I THINK IT'S A LOT BETTER. WITH THOSE MINOR CHANGES. IT LOOKS TO ME A LOT BETTER. I THINK THAT IS WHAT IS ONE OF MY BIGGEST CONCERNS IS NOT NOT WITH YOUR BUILDING AND I'M EXCITED DOLLAR DOING THE LUMBER YARD TO TRY TO, YOU KNOW , BECAUSE AT ONE TIME WE THINK IT WAS A LUMBER YARD. BUT TO TRY TO MAKE IT. LOOK THAT WAS JUST THAT WAS JUST A SIGN THAT WE PUT ON THERE FOR. YEAH BUT WITH THE RIGHT RIGHT WITH, DON'T KNOW. YEAH DELIVER YARD, BUT WITH THE WOOD AND ALL THAT BAD RESTAURANT WANTED TO LOOK COHESIVE WANTED IT, YOU KNOW, AND WHATEVER WE CAN DO TO TRY TO MAKE IT YOU KNOW, GO WITH THE REST OF THE SQUARE. WE HAVE TO BE CAREFUL NOT TO MAKE NEW BUILDINGS LOOK LIKE THEIR OLD BUILDINGS. SO THAT'S THAT'S DEFINITELY SOMETHING WE ALWAYS TRY TO DO IS MAKE SURE THAT WE HAVE SOME DIFFERENTIATION BETWEEN THE OLD AND THE NEW SO THAT WE CAN KNOW WHAT'S NEW AND WHAT'S OLD. SO THAT'S THAT'S ALWAYS A CONSIDERATION, BUT BUT WE'RE NOT. WE'RE NOT AT THAT. YOU KNOW THEY'RE NOT DONE WITH THIS YET.
AND WE'RE NOT THERE YET. AND SO WE'RE JUST LIKE HE SAID. WE'RE JUST WORRIED ABOUT THE DEMOLITION TODAY, AND THEN WE'LL WE'LL SEE HOW THIS CANDY FOR A LATER TIME. REALLY WE'RE JUST HERE TO TALK ABOUT THAT. AND THIS IS SOMETHING THAT WILL GENERALLY BE, UM, GENERALLY SHOULD BE STAFF SHOULD BE STAFF APPROVABLE. UM, FROM FROM THIS PERSPECTIVE, THE ACTUAL CONSTRUCTION PART, BUT IT WILL. IT WILL ALSO HAVE TO GO THROUGH THEIR SITE PLANNING FACADE PLAN PROCESS WITH THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT PLANNING DEPARTMENT AS WELL, SO IT'S GOT. IT'S GOT
[00:20:04]
LOTS OF STEPS DOWN THE ROAD BEFORE WE'RE DONE. WELL OF US WHO HAVE LIVED HERE FOR QUITE A LONG TIME. WE WERE AWARE OF THE FACT THAT IS THAT HE HAD SAID THAT THE LUMBER YARD THE WHITE LUMBERYARD WAS THAT JONES AT LOUISIANA BLOCK FURTHER TO THE WEST. BUT IT EVOKED THAT THOUGHT IN BOTH BETTY I'M SURE IN ME THAT YOU HAD CAPTURED THAT THOUGHT, BUT IT WAS ACCIDENTAL.YEAH THIS ONE WAS THE WILCOX LUMBER YARD BACK IN THE DAY BACK IN THE TWENTIES, SO WHITE LASTED A LONG TIME AGO. HOMAGE TO THE PAST DIVERSITY. VERY EXCITED. I THINK THIS IS GREAT. UM I LOVE SEEING THAT SIDE OF THE SQUARE STARTING TO GROW AND INVOLVED SO I THINK THIS IS GREAT. I'M EXCITED THAT Y'ALL ARE DOING THIS AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT IN THE FUTURE. WE APPRECIATE YOU WANTING TO DO SOMETHING ON THE SQUARE AND WE LOVE DOWNTOWN AND I COME DOWN HERE ALL THE TIME.
HOWEVER, RIGHT HOW LONG HAVE YOU OWNED THIS? THESE BUILDINGS, TOO? 2.5 YEARS. IT'S GREAT. WELL ANY OTHER ANY OTHER DISCUSSION OR QUESTIONS OR DO WE HAVE EMOTION? THE SCENES. WE'VE GOT A MOTION FOR APPROVAL. DO I HAVE A SECOND? GOODBYE, MR MCWILLIAMS, A FURTHER DISCUSSION. OKAY GOOD DEAL. LET'S CAST A VOTE ALL IN FAVOR. RAISE YOUR HAND. POSED OKAY PASSES UNANIMOUSLY. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING IT. DO WE HAVE ANY CITIZEN COMMENTS REGARDING ITEMS THAT ARE NOT ON THE AGENDA? YEAH, AND I DON'T THINK I SEE. THAT WE DO. OKAY DO THE BOARD
[BOARD OR STAFF COMMENTS]
