. NEXT WE HAVE OUR REPORTS 23 0 TO 2 TO 88 ABORTING LIAISON UPDATES, UM MARKETING ANYTHING.AH YES, UM, NUMBER ONE. I HOPE EVERYBODY'S BEEN TUNING INTO MCKINNEY MOMENTO. UM MISS MADISON JUST DID JUST HOSTED ONE. WE HAD ONE WITH THE MAYOR. MARKETING TEAMS DOING A GREAT JOB, BUT I THINK THESE ARE REALLY GOING TO BE GREAT FOR DC AND THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED INFORMATION ABOUT SIGNING UP FOR BYRON TICKETS. SO IF YOU HAVEN'T PLEASE DO, I THINK THAT'S IT. FROM THE D. C. I HAVEN'T SEEN SUBCOMMITTEE IT SHOULD BE FROM THE SEA. YEAH IT WILL BE FRIGHTENED. YEAH WE'LL RESEND IT. RIGHT, MR STATE MANAGER CITY MCKINNEY. GRIMES GOOD MORNING, MR CHAIRMAN, ACTING PRESIDENT, WE WILL SAY MADAM ACTING PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE BOARD. MY NAME IS PAUL GRAHAM CITY MANAGER. THE ITEMS TO SHARE WITH YOU, UH, JOINT MEETING ON APRIL 25TH. THAT'S NEXT WEEK. THAT'S GOING TO BE THE JOINT MEETING WITH THE IMMEDIACY, UH, CITY COUNCIL AND THE CDC. WE WILL BE MEETING HERE. THREE P.M. APRIL 25TH. ALL OF YOU HAVE PROBABLY RECEIVED DRAFT AGENDA. UM SO THAT WE MAY NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT WE'RE
[00:05:05]
COVERING THE TOPICS THAT THE BOARDS THE RESPECTIVE BOARDS AND OUR CITY COUNCIL WANT, BUT WE WILL POST THAT MEETING OFFICIALLY BY, YOU KNOW, THURSDAY OR FRIDAY OF THIS WEEK, AND WE'LL BE GOOD TO GO FOR OUR JOINT MEETING NEXT WEEK. WE'VE GOT PLENTY OF TIME ALLOCATED AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO THAT CONVERSATION. THE OTHER THING IS A QUICK UPDATE ON PACKAGE STORE APPLICANTS. YOU KNOW, WE JUST RECENTLY THE VOTERS APPROVED A PACKAGE STORE. REFERENDUM AND WE HAVE 13 APPLICANTS. I BELIEVE IN THIS COUNTED 13 APPLICANTS. FOUR OF THEM HAVE ALREADY BEEN APPROVED. WE HAVE NINE MORE THAT ARE IN THE QUEUE AND SOME FORM OR FASHION. THERE ARE THREE REALLY THREE STEPS ON THEIR CHECKLIST. THEY HAVE TO APPLY HERE AND THEN THEY HAVE TO A T ABC APPROVAL. THERE'S A PREQUALIFICATION APPLICATIONS IN TBC APPROVAL IN A CITY APPROVAL FINALLY, AND FOUR OF THEM AGAIN HAVE REACHED ALL THE APPROVALS. AND THEN THE OTHER NINE ARE STILL IN THE QUEUE. SO THAT IS A QUICK UPDATE ON THAT ALSO, DOWNTOWN CITY OWNED PROPERTY DEVELOPMENTS THIS BUILDING RIGHT HERE IN THE ONE ACROSS THE STREET DEVELOPMENT SERVICES.CITY COUNCILS DIRECTION TO STAFF IS START PREPARING THE GROUNDWORK, SO TO SPEAK FOR REDEVELOPMENT OF THIS FACILITY, THIS BUILDING AND THE BUILDING ACROSS THE STREET. I SHOULD SAY, MORE LIKELY NOT SO MUCH REDEVELOPMENT OF THE BUILDING BUT REDEVELOPMENT OF THE LAND.
INCLUDING POTENTIALLY THE PARKING LOT, SO MICHAEL QUINN FROM THE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT IS, UM, DRIVING THAT PROCESS AND WE'RE HOSTING A MEETING DOWNTOWN ON APRIL 26TH RIGHT HERE IN THIS ROOM AT SIX P.M. TO GET INPUT FROM THE PUBLIC ON THIS REDEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE, BASICALLY UNDERSTANDING LISTENING TO THE DOWNTOWN AREA AND THE PUBLIC.
WHAT THEIR PRIORITIES ARE. WHEN WE THINK ABOUT WHAT WOULD THIS LOOK LIKE WHEN CITY HALL MOVES AND WE MOVE INTO OUR NEW BUILDING, AND WE WANT TO REDEVELOP? WHAT ARE THE PRIORITIES THAT WE'D LIKE TO SEE THAT PROCESS IS MOVING ALONG? AND THEN FINALLY THIS AFTERNOON AT WORK SESSION AT 3 30 TODAY WE STARTED 3 30. WE'RE GOING TO HAVE AN UPDATE ON THE UM STATE HIGHWAY FIVE MCDONALDS STREET PEDESTRIAN CONNECTION DISCUSSION . WE'LL PROVIDE SOME NEW INFORMATION AND THE COUNCIL WILL BE UPDATED AT WORK SESSION. SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THAT YOU CAN TUNE IN ONLINE OR YOU CAN COME TO THE MEETING IF YOU LIKE. SO THAT WILL BE INTERESTING CONVERSATION I BELIEVE AND WILL HAVE AN IDEA OF WHAT THE FUTURE DIRECTION WILL BE FROM THE CITY COUNCIL. AND THAT IS ALL I HAVE. I WILL STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS. ANY QUESTIONS? THAT WAS THE LAST ONE WAS THIS AFTERNOON THIS AFTERNOON AT 3 30 PM EXCUSE ME AT OUR WORK SESSION, PAUL OF THE APPLICANTS OR ANY OF THOSE BIG BOX STORES THAT YOU CAN SHARE WITH YOU HAVE SOME? YES, WE HAVE SOME BIG BOX APPLICANTS. I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S IS IT A PUBLIC PUBLICLY SHARE THAT PROBABLY WOULD NOT HOLD OFF FOR NOW, BUT I SUPPOSE SOMEBODY COULD GET THAT INFORMATION. THERE'S A COUPLE OF YOU'D RECOGNIZE MOST OF THEM ARE I DON'T HONESTLY SO ANYWAY, WE'VE GOT THE FOUR THAT HAVE BEEN APPROVED ARE ACTUALLY RELATIVELY SMALL OPERATORS.
THAT'S NOT A SURPRISE. I THINK THAT PROBABLY TYPICALLY HAPPENS IN COMMUNITIES YOU GET, UH, GROUNDSWELL OF FOLKS WANTING TO GET INTO THE BUSINESS, BUT IT'S NOT AN EASY BUSINESS. THERE ARE CERTAIN REGULATIONS THEY HAVE TO ADHERE TO. AND WHAT HAPPENS IS USUALLY THE LARGER BIG BOXES PREVAILED IN THAT KIND OF COMPETITION BECAUSE OF THE SCALE THAT THEY CAN BRING TO THE MARKET. ANY OTHER QUESTIONS. ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU, SIR. ALRIGHT I DON'T SEE LISA FOR THE CHAMBER.
C. D. C. CINDY. GOOD MORNING, MR CHAIRMAN, MEMBERS OF THE BOARD AND MISS CLARK. GOOD TO BE HERE APPRECIATE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE AN UPDATE. UM NEXT WEEK IS THE CITY C MEETING AND WILL HAVE PUBLIC HEARINGS ON FOUR, UM, PROJECT GRANTS. PROJECTS AND APPLICATIONS THAT WERE SUBMITTED . TWO OF THOSE ARE FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS . ONE FOR HOTEL AND CRAIG RANCH, AND THEN THE OTHERS HEARD WILDLIFE MUSEUM APPLICATIONS SO THE PRESENTATIONS WILL BE NEXT THURSDAY. BOARD ACTION WILL BE SCHEDULED IN MAY. LAST MONTH, THE BOARD APPROVED FOR RETAIL INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT APPLICATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN RECEIVED AND JUST AS A REMINDER.
THESE ARE IT'S A MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM MAX AVAILABLE IS UP TO 50,000, AND IT IS FOR EXTERIOR INFRASTRUCTURE OR FIRE SUPPRESSION FOR NEWER, EXPANDING BUSINESSES, PRIMARILY IN THE DOWNTOWN CULTURAL DISTRICT, AND ALL OF THOSE APPROVED WE'RE IN THE CULTURAL DISTRICT. UM LAST WEEK, THE M C D C BOARD MET IN A JOINT SESSION WITH THE PARK'S ADVISORY BOARD AND HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET AN UPDATE ON PROJECTS THAT HAVE BEEN FUNDED WITH, UH, THE ANNUAL COMMITMENT FROM CDC. MR KOWSKI, THE DIRECTOR, AND HIS TEAM PROVIDED A GREAT PRESENTATION. UPDATING THE BOARDS HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO TALK ABOUT WHAT WILL BE RECOMMENDED FOR FUNDING FOR FY
[00:10:06]
24. THAT APPLICATION WILL COME LATER THIS SUMMER. UH WORK ON TUBBS CONTINUES ONE OF THE BIG COMPONENTS OF THE PROJECT. THE TAPROOM WAS SLOW FOR A WHILE STILL HAD TO BE ORDERED WAS DELIVERED WAS TO BE DELIVERED LAST FRIDAY HAVEN'T CONFIRMED THAT IT CAME IN BUT SHOULD BE, IF NOT FRIDAY, THIS WEEK, SO WORK ON THAT CONTINUES. THERE'S STILL AIMING FOR TCO FOR THE PROPERTY IN MAY. SO THEY CAN START BREWING BEER AT THE NEW SITE AND FULL COMPLETION AND AUGUST AND WITH THAT, I'LL BE HAPPY TO STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS QUESTIONS. THANK YOU. VISIT MCKINNEY. GOOD MORNING. I'M A DC EXCITED TO BE HERE WITH YOU THIS MORNING. I WANNA ECHO MISS WILLIAMS COMMENTS EARLIER ABOUT THE MAKING THE MOMENTUM PODCAST . I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET BEHIND THE MIC LAST WEEK, UH, ENJOYING THIS CREW AND BEING IN THE ROOM AND JUST EXPERIENCING AND NOT ONLY THE EQUIPMENT THAT'S BEEN INSTALLED THE BACK THE BACKDROPS, BUT THE PROFESSIONAL LEVEL OF THESE TWO RUNNING, THAT IS PRETTY PHENOMENAL. SO KUDOS TO THE MARKETING TEAM OVER THERE. SECONDLY IS THE LAST TIME I WILL STAND BEFORE YOU BEFORE WE HAVE MCKINNEY'S LARGEST TOURISM EVENT OF THE YEAR. THAT IS THE TIME SCARED THAT WE GOT THE 18 80 ENVIRONMENTAL COMING UP. THAT'S AN ALL HANDS ON DECK EVENT. OF COURSE, AS YOU ALL KNOW, WE HAD A GREAT ARTICLE IN THE TEXAS MUNICIPAL LEAGUE MAGAZINE LAST OR IN APRIL, ACTUALLY, OR THIS MONTH. I'M TALKING ABOUT HOW THAT IS SUCH A JOINT EFFORT BY ALL TO PULL THAT EVENT OFF. BUT I JUST WANT TO ENCOURAGE YOU AS YOU GO OUT AND YOU INTERACT WITH YOUR NETWORKS AND YOUR FRIENDS TO HELP US CONTINUE TO SHARE THE MESSAGE THAT THE BYRON NELSON GOES BEYOND THE COURSE WHEN WE HAVE 40,000 PLUS PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY EVERY DAY, WE WANT TO LEVERAGE THAT OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE MCKINNEY AS WHAT WE HAVE BRANDED THE 19TH HOLE AND SO YOU CAN SHOP, DINE AND UNWIND BEFORE AFTER OR COME BACK. AT A FUTURE DAY AFTER EXPERIENCING THE BYRON FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THAT YOU CAN FIND IT. VISIT MCKINNEY .COM SLASH THE 19TH HOLE. BUT WE'VE GOT THAT MARKETING CAMPAIGN GOING NOW SO PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE THAT AS YOU SEE IT COME THROUGH.LASTLY IF ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS OR OR OR COLLEAGUES OR DYING TO TRY TO WIN TWO TICKETS TO THE BYRON , YOU CAN STOP BY THE VISITORS CENTER. WE HAVE A LITTLE PUTT TO WIN COMPETITION GOING ON WITH A LITTLE PUP PUT, UH, DISPLAY SET UP THERE, SO IF YOU MAKE IT IN YOUR FIRST OR SECOND TRY MY, THEN YOU'LL BE ENTERED WHEN TWO TICKETS, SO SEND THEM OUR WAY. THAT'S ALL I'VE GOT FOR YOU.
THANK YOU. THANK YOU. QUESTIONS, OKAY. APPRECIATE IT. TOGETHER WITH AHEAD OF MYSELF ON THE COMMITTEE UPDATES. SO THAT'S WHY JULIE YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE. I AM. I SINGLED OUT GOOD BECAUSE YOU'RE SPECIAL. SO HOW ABOUT FINANCE FINANCE MET? WE HAD AN ABBREVIATED UM AGENDA. WE'RE REALLY OUR NEXT STEP, AND WE'RE WAITING ON THE BUDGET IS WORKING ON PUTTING THOSE TOGETHER SO THAT WE COULD REVIEW THOSE OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE. UM WE DID LOOK AT ONE PARTICULAR PROGRAM THAT PETER HAD BROUGHT UP. UM AND REALLY JUST WE JUST OPENLY DISCUSSED DIDN'T REALLY MAKE SENSE FOR US TO MOVE FORWARD, SO WE DIDN'T BRING THAT FORWARD FOR ANY SORT OF COMMENTS AT THIS POINT. OKAY, WELL, STATE REAL ESTATE MET, UM. WE DISCUSSED PREDOMINANTLY OUR PROPERTIES ALONG 1 21. WE LOOK FORWARD TO THIS JOINT MEETING BECAUSE THERE ARE SEVERAL SEVERAL ISSUES THERE THAT WE LOOK FORWARD TO DIRECTION AND DISCUSSION WITH THE COUNCIL ON THE MANAGEMENT OFFICE ON THESE PROPERTIES AND IN THE FUTURE. ON GOVERNANCE WE MET AS WELL AND, UH, YOU WILL BE GETTING AND I'LL TALK A LITTLE BIT. I CAN JUST DOVETAIL INTO MY COMMENTS SINCE IT'S NEXT. SO OUR BOARD HANDBOOK IS GOING TO BE SENT TO YOU ALL. AH, IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, REVISIONS.
SUGGESTIONS ADDITIONS ANYTHING OF THAT NATURE IF YOU COULD GET COMMENTS BACK TO DINA SO WE CAN GET THAT FINALIZED BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY, THAT'S SOMETHING THAT WE WILL BE USING FOR FUTURE BOARD MEMBERS AS WELL. AH IN TERMS OF HOW THE BOARD OPERATES A LOT OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE FOR A FOUR B STATUTE OR INTERACTION WITH CITY COUNCIL. AH! SUBCOMMITTEE'S SUBCOMMITTEE ROLES ARE THERE'S QUITE A BIT OF GOOD INFORMATION IN THERE THAT WE'RE GOING TO USE FOR ONLY OUR BOARD, BUT FUTURE APPOINTEES. SO IF YOU LOOK AT THAT, ALSO, IN ADDITION TO THAT SHE'LL BE SENDING OUT THE STRATEGIC PLAN DOCUMENT IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY SAYING THAT A REVIEW THAT ESPECIALLY GIVEN THE FACT THAT WE HAVE THIS JOINT MEETING ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WE WANT TO
[00:15:03]
DISCUSS WITH THE COUNCIL, OBVIOUSLY. IS WHETHER OR NOT OUR STRATEGIC PLAN THAT WE PRELIMINARILY LOOK AT. HMM. HOPEFULLY ADOPT. THAT IT IS IN LINE WITH THE STRATEGIC PLAN, AND THE PRIORITIES OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPOINTS US IS WHAT LEADS TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND SO THAT WILL BE A TOPIC OF DISCUSSION ON THE 25TH. SO IF YOU TAKE A LOOK AT THAT, ALSO, AND IF YOU HAVE ANY AGAIN, COMMENTS QUESTIONS POTENTIAL REVISIONS IF YOU COULD GET THAT BACK ALSO THE DINO, THEN THAT WAY WE CAN HAVE A DOCUMENT THAT WE CAN UTILIZE ON THE 25TH IN OUR MEETING WITH THE CITY. AND THAT'S REALLY ALL I HAVE. OTHER THAN I LOOK FORWARD TO. ALSO TO OUR MEETING WITH THEY'RE FULLER IN THE CITY COUNCIL AND CITY STAFF. I THINK THAT IT'S GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR US TO COME TOGETHER AS ONE BODY AND MAKE SURE THAT WE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT WE HAVE TO LAND THAT WE HAVE, HOW WE'RE GOING TO USE THE LAND.ULTIMATELY USE OUR ABILITY TO CREATE INCENTIVES FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, ALONG WITH OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CDC ON PROJECTS, SO THAT'S GOING TO BE A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING AND I'D LIKE TO JUST PUBLICLY THANK PAUL GRIMES AND CITY COUNCIL FOR FACILITATING THAT AND HELPING GET THAT SET UP FOR US FOR NEXT WEEK. APPRECIATE THAT. SO WITH THAT. OUR NEXT ITEM ON THE
[Consider/Discuss MEDC Monthly Reports]
AGENDA. IS THE BDC MONTHLY REPORTS. MADAM PRESIDENT. AH. GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE. MADISON CLARK, AND I AM NOT THE PRESIDENT OF THE A. D. C. BUT THE BUSINESS RETENTION DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS RETENTION, EXPANSION AND WORKFORCE, SO PLEASURE TO BE HERE TODAY. PETER IS TRAVELING ON BUSINESS, SO I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO FILL IN. I WILL BE BREATHED WITH BRIEF WITH A FEW COMMENTS AS YOU NOTICE, PROBABLY IN YOUR PACKETS. THE MARKETING TEAM REDID THE MARKETING REPORT, WHICH I'M SURE YOU'LL GET TO HEAR FROM LUKE SOME ON THAT. BUT THAT MARKETING REPORT LOOKS GREAT DASHBOARD APPROACH REALLY EASY TO DIGEST INFORMATION. UM AND THEN, ADDITIONALLY, I'D LIKE TO FORMALLY INTRODUCE YOU ALL TO EMILY BECK ARE NEW PROJECTS AND SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGER SO WE'RE VERY HAPPY TO HAVE EMILY ONBOARD AND SHE'S BEEN VERY INSTRUMENTAL ALREADY IN OUR PREPARATION FOR THE BYRON NELSON. SO WHEN YOU GET A MOMENT, STOP BY AND SAY HI TO EMILY. SHE'S GREAT ADDITION TO OUR TEAM. UM AND I BELIEVE THAT'S IT GREAT. ANY QUESTIONS? NOPE. RIGHT? OH I FORGOT TO MENTION IN MY COMMENTS TO SALT AT THE NEXT MEETING, WE WILL HAVE ON THE AGENDA OF FORMAL VOTE ON SUBCOMMITTEES. TO REPLACE THE COMMITTEE SAID JOE WAS SERVING ON SCOTT. I'M GOING TO SUGGEST FOR REAL ESTATE. ACTUALLY, THAT SINCE WE HAVE. TO TAKE MY PLACE ON REAL ESTATE. MOHAMMED SUGGEST THAT HE GO TO FINANCE AH! I THINK WE NEED TO FILL ONE MORE SPOT ON INNOVATION. SO THAT'S ONE THAT IF ANYBODY'S INTERESTED IN GOING TO THE INNOVATION, INTERESTED THANK YOU. WELL, THERE WE GO. INNOVATION AS WELL. AND SO.WE'LL HAVE TO HAVE THAT POSTED FOR A VOTE AT THE NEXT MEETING. AND SO WE'LL DO THAT. THE NEXT
[Consider/Discuss/Act on the February 2023 Financials]
ITEM ON THE REGULAR AGENDA IS CONSIDERED ASSESS ACT ON FEBRUARY 2023 FINANCIALS. SIR.GOOD MORNING, CHANCELLOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER. LET'S GO AHEAD AND GO TO THE INCOME STATEMENT. IT'S UH OH. USUALLY JUST YOU MIGHT HAVE TO FIX IT WHERE I CAN SEE THE TOP. BUT ALRIGHT. THIS IS THE FIFTH MONTH OF OUR FISCAL YEAR. FEBRUARY DO YOU MIND SCROLLING UPS THAT OR AM I ABLE TO SCROLL UP? OK, HMM. YEAH THE RACE. AH OKAY, WELL. THAT'S NOT EVEN ON MY SCREEN, THOUGH LONG WORK ACROSS IT. CLEAR ANNOTATION TO SEE THAT THEY DON'T GO. ALRIGHT HERE WE ARE SO SELF TAX REVENUE FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY WE RECEIVED 2.2 MILLION WE HAD AROUND 50,000 AND INTEREST INCOME. AND UM AROUND 2000 AND OTHER INCOME, SO TOTAL REVENUE FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY WAS 2.25 MILLION. MOVING DOWN TO EXPENDITURES WE HAD AROUND 200,000 IN OPERATIONAL EXPENSES. THIS IS YOUR PERSONNEL SUPPLIES AND OTHER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES. UM
[00:20:03]
PROJECTS WE HAD AROUND 391,000 OF EXPENDITURES AND THE LAST DAY FOR NON DEPARTMENTAL, WHICH IS MAINLY OUR MONTHLY TRANSFER TUTOR FOR YOUR DEBT SERVICE PAYMENTS TOTALING AROUND 237,000 SO TOTAL EXPENDITURES FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY WAS 1.828. WE HAD A NET INCREASE. UH 1.4 MILLION FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY. WHEN WE WANT TO SELL STACKS. ALRIGHT SALES TAX FOR FEBRUARY. THE WE COLLECTED IT IN FEBRUARY, BUT IT APPLIED TO DECEMBER. THIS IS OUR BIGGEST MONTH OF THE OUR FISCAL YEAR. AND WE SAW 7.8% INCREASE. THAT'S A TASTEFUL BUT. ALAN SAW 33.6% INCREASE. FRISCO SALT 14% INCREASE IN PLAINTIFFS ALL 7.9% INCREASE, I WILL NOTE ALLEN HAD A LARGE AUDIT COLLECTION. THEIR TRUE INCREASE FOR THIS FOR PERIOD TO PERIOD WAS 5.5. UM AND YOU CAN SEE OUR YEAR TO DATE BRINGS US TO 9.4% INCREASE. SO THAT IS ABOVE THE BUDGETED NUMBER FOR THIS PHYSICAL YEAR, SO WE'RE STILL TRENDING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. UM AND ALL TOUCH BASED ON THE BY INDUSTRY MARK REAL FAST. YOU CAN SEE OUR RETAIL TRADE IS AT 7% AGAIN.THIS IS THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE CONSECUTIVE MONTH OF AROUND THE 5 TO 7. SO IT LOOKS LIKE THIS IS A GOOD BENCHMARK PROJECT. FUTURE SALES TAX GROWTH THAT IS, THAT IS OUR LARGEST INDUSTRY. UM NOTHING ELSE TO REALLY NOTE. I KNOW WHOLESALE TRADE SO NEGATIVE 20% BUT IF I'M LOOKING AT NEXT MONTH, AND UM, TWO MONTHS AGO WAS UP 2024% SO THOSE WILL FLUCTUATE ON A MONTH TO MONTH BASIS, BUT NOTHING REALLY JUMPS OUT AT ME. THE MAIN THING IS JUST THE RETAIL TRADE. OUR BIGGEST INDUSTRY HAS BEEN CONSISTENT FOR THREE MONTHS NOW, AND THAT WILL BE OUR INDICATOR FOR PROJECTING FUTURE SALES TAX GROWTH. WE ALSO WORKING ON THE BUDGET, SO WE SHOULD HAVE THAT HOPEFULLY IN JULY, WILL BE PRESENTING IT TO THE BOARD BUT WOULD BE PRESENTING TO THE FINANCE COMMITTEE BEFORE THAT. AND I KNOW WE HAVE NEW FACES. I'LL LOOK FORWARD TO THAT, UM, INTERACTIONS AS WELL AND I'LL STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS. QUESTIONS. AND WE NEED A MOTION GROUP. SO ENTERTAIN A MOTION TO APPROVE OR UNLESS YOU DON'T WANT TO APPROVE THE FINANCIALS, I MOVE TO APPROVE THE FINANCIALS. HAVE A SECOND MOTION BY MR HELMSLEY SECOND BY MR WOODRUFF.
DINA UM, LOCKED OUT AGAIN, HOPEFULLY CAST VOTES GOING TO SLEEP. YEAH. YEP, THERE IT IS.
THAT'S NOT SHOWN UP YET. AND AS IN SUMMIT FAVORITE. OKAY. MOTION PASSES. RIGHT? SO NEXT. WE HAVE PUBLIC COMMENTS REGARDING MATTERS, NOT ON THE AGENDA. IS ANYBODY HERE? WANT TO ADDRESS THE BOARD? THE BOARD COMMENTS. SOME. WE WILL GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH TEXAS
[EXECUTIVE SESSION]
