2ND CONSIDER DISCUSS ACT ON IMPORTANT CITY. COUNCIL CERTIFYING THE ELECTION RESULTS.

6 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS COUNCIL MEMBERS HISTORY, TOO. DISTRICT FOURTH LARGE NUMBER TWO GOOD AFTERNOON, MAYOR FULLER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT. I'M INTERESTED IN THE CITY SECRETARY HERE TODAY TO PRESENT THE RESULTS OF THE CITY'S GENERAL ELECTION, WHICH WAS HELD ON MAY 6TH 2020 23. AH FOR THE COUNCIL MEMBERS FOR DISTRICT TO DISTRICT FOUR AND THAT LARGE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE COLLIN COUNTY ELECTIONS ADMINISTRATION AND ELECTIONS CLERK BRUCE SHARE, BUT FOR THEIR SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE CITY OF MCKINNEY, AS WELL AS DOZENS OF GOVERNING BODIES ACROSS THE COUNTY TO ENSURE PROPER ELECTIONS WERE HELD. I'M GOING TO START OUT WITH THE ELECTION RESULTS FOR COUNCIL MEMBER FOR AT LARGE NUMBER TO KEEP IN MIND THAT OUR LAWS REQUIRE THAT THE WINNER OF EACH ELECTION MUST OBTAIN AT LEAST HALF OF ALL VOTES. THE CANDIDATES FOR LARGE NUMBER TWO WERE TAIWO A JUNE 1, TOM MEREDITH AND MICHAEL JONES.

TAIWAN JUNE 1 RECEIVED 836 VOTES. TOM MEREDITH RECEIVED 8654 VOTES AND MICHAEL JONES RECEIVED 9795 VOTES. MICHAEL JONES WON THAT RACE WITH A TOTAL OF 50.79% OF ALL VOTES. FOR COUNCIL MEMBER DISTRICT TWO. THE CANDIDATES WERE MICHAEL SILVA. AND PATRICK CLOUDIER. MICHAEL SILVER RECEIVED 802 VOTES. PATRICK CLOUTIER RECEIVED 2500 VOTES AND WITH 75.71% OF ALL VOTES CAST. PATRICK LUCKIER WON THAT RACE. AND FINALLY FOR COUNCIL MEMBER DISTRICT FOUR.

RICK FRANKLIN RAN UNOPPOSED AND RECEIVED 2703 VOTES, WHICH WAS 100% OF ALL VOTES CAST. FOR THAT RACE. THESE RESULTS WILL BE ENTERED INTO THE CITY'S PERMANENT RECORD FOR ELECTIONS.

I WILL STAND FOR ANY COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS THAT YOU HAVE AND THIS IS REQUIRED TO BE ACCEPTED BY THE COUNCIL TO BE ENTERED INTO LAW. JUST SAY THAT HAVE SOME PARTY IN THE HEARTS LATER.

CITY MCCAIN, TEXAS CERTIFYING THE ELECTION RESULTS MAY 6 2023 SPECIAL BOND ELECTION. ON MAY 6TH 2023. THE CITY ALSO CONDUCTED A SPECIAL ELECTION TO WHICH WAS PRESENTED TO THE VOTERS OF THE CITY ON WHETHER TO ISSUE $200 MILLION IN BONDS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMMERCIAL SERVICES AT THE MCKINNEY AIRPORT . I WILL NOW READ THE RESULTS OF THAT ELECTION, WHICH WILL BE ARCHIVED IN THE CITY'S PERMANENT RECORD. THE VOTES CAST FOR THAT BOND MEASURE WAS 9029. AND THE VOTES AGAINST OR 12,834. SO WITH 58.70% OF VOTES CAST AGAINST THAT MEASURE, THAT MEASURE DID NOT PASSED. I WILL STAND FOR ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE. PERSONALLY. OFFICER.
