JUST ONE CORRECTION THERE AND WE CAN JUMP TO THE KPI. OKAY? ALL RIGHT AHEAD.CURRENT $45 MILLION IN CAPEX, WITH THE CONTRACT SPENDING AT 49 ACTIVE PROJECT PIPELINE AT 31.
ABOVE TRADE SHOW TARGETED, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE'RE SLOWING DOWN. THERE WERE WELL IN IN LINE TO HIT THE TARGET OF 60 FOR B. R E M TOURS WERE AT TWO. WE'VE GOT ANOTHER ONE COMING IN THIS WEEK TO DO ANOTHER ONE. WE'VE GOT COMMUNITY FORUM ONE BEING THE H O A EVENT HERE IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS, AND THEN WE'LL BE INVOLVED WITH ANOTHER ONE HERE IN THE FALL. INNOVATION FUND IS REALLY PICKED UP. I KNOW I MENTIONED IN JUNE WE WENT TO TWO COLLISION, BUT THAT'S PART OF THAT REASON IS THAT WE'VE FINALLY BACK TO FULL STAFF WHEN IT COMES TO PROJECTS SEEM SO JUST, UM APPRECIATE CAROLINE AND MIKE AND THE TEAM. MIKE'S REALLY HUSTLED TO GET TO A LOT OF EVENTS DOWN IN DALLAS AND ACROSS THE METROPLEX TO REALLY PUSH WHAT MCKINNEY IS DOING WITH INNOVATION. SO YOU'LL HAVE CLOSED INNOVATION FUND PROJECTS . THERE'S ONLY ONE YEAR TODAY, BUT TWO OF THOSE JUST CLOSED IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS AS FAR AS THOSE AGREEMENTS BEING EXECUTED.
AND THEN I'LL PASS ON TO MARKETING REPORT FOR LOOSE. MORNING MR CHAIRMAN, MR VICE PRESIDENT, MEMBERS OF THE BOARD . LUKA JARRED MARKETING MANAGER WANTS TO JUST HIGHLIGHT A FEW NUMBERS. IF YOU DON'T MIND. CAN WE GO TO THE DASHBOARD? THIS KIND OF A SUMMARY OF THE MARKETING REPORT? ALL THIS DATA IS AVAILABLE TO YOU IN YOUR REPORT. YOU CAN SEE OUR SOCIAL MEDIA NUMBERS ARE KIND OF ON PAR WITH OTHER INDUSTRY PEERS AND THEN WE ALSO HAVE CONTINUED GROWTH. AS JULIE MENTIONED, OUR PODCAST IS CONTINUING TO SLOWLY PICK UP STEAM AND BECOME A RESOURCE TO THE COMMUNITY TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL EDUCATION, ADDITIONALLY, WILL BE PROVIDING SOME STRONGER CAMPAIGNS TO EDUCATE AND BRING AWARENESS TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF WHAT THE DOES HOW WE OPERATE, HOW WE'RE FUNDED BASIC, CDC 101 EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGNS FOR OUR COMMUNITY MEMBERS. AND THEN YOU CAN SEE OUR WEBSITE TRAFFIC THERE. AND OF COURSE, OUR NEWLY FAIRLY NEW YOUTUBE CHANNEL HAS HAS BEGUN TO PICK UP STEAM AS WELL. SO I'LL HAPPILY STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS. QUESTIONS FOR LUKE. THANK YOU. ALL RIGHT. NEXT WE HAVE OUR REGULAR AGENDA ITEM.
23 650. SOON, FINANCIALS. GOOD MORNING CHANCE. MILLER ACCOUNTING MANAGER WILL BE GOING OVER THE MONTH OF JUNE WAS A FAIRLY QUIET MONTH. START WITH THE INCOME STATEMENT. OKAY? ABOUT 1.75 MILLION AND REVENUE. THE MAJORITY OF THAT CAME FROM SALES TAX REVENUE, WHICH TOTALED ALMOST 1.7 MILLION. MOVING DOWN TO EXPENDITURES. WE HAD 430,000 AND OPERATIONAL EXPENSES. THIS A LITTLE BIT MORE THAN USUAL. THIS IS BYRON NELSON COMING OUT THIS MONTH AND STUFF LIKE THAT, SO YOU CAN SEE THAT IN THE SERVICES AND INJURY THAT 345,000 IN REGARDS OF PROJECTS. WE SPENT ALMOST $800,000 ON COMMITTED PROJECTS THAN THE NON DEPARTMENTAL IS Y'ALL'S MONTHLY TRANSFER TO AHRENS FUND MAKE CALLS THAT SERVICE PAYMENTS AND STUFF LIKE THAT, SO TOTAL EXPENSES WAS 1.46 MILLION. UM WHICH RESULTED IN A NET INCREASE OF ALMOST 300,000 FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE. WE'LL MOVE ON TO SELLS TAX. ALRIGHT SALES TAX FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE APPLIES TO CELLS IN APRIL. YOU CAN SEE MCKINNEY HAD A 2.2% DECREASE. WE DID HAVE PRIOR PRIOR PERIOD COLLECTIONS AND COLLECTIONS LAST YEAR, SO OUR TRUE INCREASES RIGHT AT BREAKING EVEN MORE SISTER CITIES
[00:15:02]
. ALLEN HAD 5.2% INCREASE. FRISCO SOL 6.2% DECREASE. PLANO SAW 1.4% DECREASE. SO IT FEELS LIKE ALAN STARTING TO CATCH UP. AFTER A COUPLE OF YEARS OF TRAINING FAR BEHIND THE OTHER SISTER CITIES. NOW, WHY EXACTLY? WE SAW A DECREASE THIS MONTH. THERE'S NOTHING GOOD THAT I CAN SEE IN THE INFORMATION THAT WAS PROVIDED LOOKING AT BUSINESSES AND LOOKED LIKE IT WAS ACROSS ALL OF OUR BIG SALES, TAX PAYERS AND THE CITY. NOTHING THERE'S A COUPLE THAT HAD A LITTLE BIT MORE OF A DECREASE. BUT THIS THIS NEXT MONTH THEY PICK BACK UP. SO LOOK LIKE IT WAS JUST A ONE MONTH THING. UM AND I'LL MOVE ON TO THE SOUTH SEXPOT INDUSTRY REAL FAST SO YOU CAN SEE THAT RETAIL TRADE SO 9% DECREASE. WE HAD BEEN TRAINING AROUND. FATHER 6% EVERY MONTH FOR THE PAST FIVE MONTHS AT THIS POINT, SO THIS IS THE FIRST DECREASE LIKE THIS. UM THE OTHER ONES ALWAYS FLUCTUATES. I WASN'T TOO CONCERNED ABOUT ANY OF THE OTHER INDUSTRIES. BUT UM, RETAIL TRADE DID POP BACK UP IN JULY TO THE NORMAL 5 TO 6% SO CONSIDERING EVERYTHING THAT WE'VE SEEN ALL THE INFORMATION WE'VE LOOKED AT THIS LOOKS LIKE AN OUTLIER, BUT WE'RE CONTINUING TO MONITORING JULY AND AUGUST CAME BACK THAT BOTH LOOKED BACK TO NORMAL NUMBERS AROUND THE FIVE OR 6. SO WE'RE CONSIDERING THIS NOW ARE UM AND WE'RE STILL TRAINING TO BE THE BUDGET AND NUMBER OF 5% OF THIS TIME AND I'LL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. QUESTIONS. ENTERTAIN A MOTION. TO APPROVE THE MOTION TO APPROVE. I'LL SECOND. WE HAVE A MOTION. WE HAVE A SECOND. WITH THE OPPORTUNITY ABOUT CAST YOUR VOTES. THE MOTION PASSES. ALL RIGHT. NEXT. WE HAVE PUBLIC COMMENTS REGARDING MATTERS NOT ON THE AGENDA. ANYBODY WISH TO ADDRESS THE BOARD? THE BOARD[BOARD COMMENTS]
COMMENTS. I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE ONE COMMENT I SHOULD HAVE MADE EARLIER. I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT THERE WAS A REALLY GOOD ARTICLE IN THE PAPER. ABOUT THE 87 CITY. SEE THIS? PAST WEEK. UM BUT I AM GLAD THAT THE MARKETING COMMUNITIES COMMITTEES TALKING ABOUT COMMUNITY OUTREACH, BECAUSE ONE THING THAT STOOD OUT IN THAT ARTICLE WAS THE FACT THAT THERE IS A LACK OF KNOWLEDGE IS TOO HELP PROJECTS COME ABOUT HOW WE PROVE THEM. YOU KNOW, JUST THE WHOLE PROCESS AND WHAT WE DO WHAT WE DO YOU HAVE. THE FOCUS WAS QUITE A BIT ON CITY HALL AND TOPS, AND OBVIOUSLY WE HAVE A LOT OF OTHER PROJECTS THAT WE'VE PARTICIPATION WITH COMPANIES LIKE RAYTHEON AND ENCORE WIRE AND WHATNOT. SO I'M GLAD YOU ALL ARE. WORKING ON THAT. NEXT WE'LL[EXECUTIVE SESSION]
GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION. IN ACCORDANCE WITH TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 551071 SUB PARAGRAPH TWO CONSULTATION WITH GENERAL COUNCIL ON ANY WORK SESSION, SPECIAL REGULAR SESSION AGENDA AND RECORDING CONFIDENTIAL ATTORNEY CLIENT ADVICE. DELIBERATION DISCUSSION ITEMS AS NEEDED 551087 DELIBERATIONS REGARDING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MATTERS. JW MARRIOTT PROJECT ERGEN. PROJECT BLUE SKY PROJECT SHARP, ACTIVE SECURITY CONSULTING. SECTION 5510 SYMBOL FOR PERSONAL MATTERS IN BDC PRESIDENT MIDYEAR REVIEW WE ARE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION. AT 8 19 ACCORDING TO THE CLOCK IN HERE, WHICH IS ACTUALLY 8 17. OR IS THAT A 21? 17 8? THERE WE GO. SO WE WILL ADJOURN TO EXECUTIVE SESSION AND COME BACK. RIGHT IT IS 9 34 AM WE'RE OUT OF[ACTION ON EXECUTIVE SESSION]
EXECUTIVE SESSION. THIS TIME, I WILL ENTERTAIN A MOTION ON THE JW MARRIOTT. YES SIR. I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A MOTION THAT WE AMEND THE EXISTING TERM SHEET PER OUR DISCUSSION AND EXECUTIVE SESSION SESSION. THERE WAS SECOND I WAS THINKING. AND WE HAVE A MOTION AND WE HAVE A SECOND UM MOHAMMED. ROOTS. MOTION PASSES. AND MOTION TO ADJOURN. MOVED TO THE MOTION TO ADJOURN BECAUSE I HIT THE BUTTON SECOND EMOTION AND
