TONIGHT IF THERE IS AN ITEM THAT WILL GO INTO THE TO THE CITY COUNCIL, WHO ARE A FAN OF VOTE, WE WILL LET YOU KNOW IF YOU WERE HERE TONIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN ONE OF OUR PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS. A COUPLE OF HOUSEKEEPING NOTES FOR YOU. BEFORE YOU COME TO THE PODIUM, PLEASE FILL OUT ONE OF THE YELLOW SPEAKER CARDS AND THOSE CARDS ARE LOCATED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE ROOM. TWO PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER DESIGN EXCEPTIONS TO A SITE PLAN FOR COMMERCIAL ENTERTAINMENT.

OUTDOOR MCKINNEY FLOUR MILL, AND THIS IS AT 601 EAST LOUISIANA STREET, STRICKLAND. CHAIRMAN COX

THIS IS THE SITE PLAN THAT WE RECENTLY HEARD AT OUR LAST PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION, JUST A REMINDER FROM THE LAST TIME THEY ARE ASKING FOR DESIGN EXCEPTIONS FOR THE BILL TO ZONE WHICH STAFF WAS SUPPORTIVE OF DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT'S AN EXISTING BUILDING HISTORIC EVEN IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN OUT THERE, AND THEY'RE ALSO REQUESTING ALTERNATIVE SCREENING MATERIALS, SO. ORIGINALLY THEY REQUESTED TO SCREEN ALONG THE ENTIRE FRONTAGE WITH A 6 FT WALL MADE ENTIRELY OUT OF WHAT THE APPLICANT HAS NOW WORKED WITH STAFF AND THEY HAVE UPDATED THEIR REQUEST. THEY ARE NOW GOING TO BE REQUESTING TO DO A IRON ROT. 4 FT WALL HERE ALONG EAST LOUISIANA STREET. UM THERE. EAST LOUISIANA STREET WITH SHRUBS WHICH WOULD MEET THE INTENT OF THE MTC, AND THEY'RE ALSO REQUESTING NOW IN BRIGHT YELLOW TO HAVE A 8 FT WOODEN FENCE ALONG THE EASTERN PERIMETER SURROUNDING THAT STAGE STAFF HAS WORKED WITH MR BRESNAHAN AND WE HAVE FOUND THAT THE ADDITION OF THE 4 FT WALL TO INCREASE THE PEDESTRIAN FEEL ON THE PRIORITY. A STREET AS WELL AS THE SCREENING THAT WILL ACCOMPANY THE STAGE FOR THE SURROUNDING PROPERTIES. THAT STAFF IS SUPPORTIVE OF THIS UPDATED REQUEST AND I WILL STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS.
