THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME A FEW MINUTES OF YOUR TIME AND WELCOME TO 2024 . I KNOW YOU'RE GOING IN EXECUTIVE SESSION, DISCUSS A BIG ITEM, AND I WON'T SAY THANK YOU FOR THE TIME YOU'VE PUT INTO THIS, UH AND WE'LL GIVE YOU MY SUPPORT AS A DOWNTOWN STAKEHOLDER. IN MAKING THIS DECISION AND WANTED TO COME HERE. I'M NOT AVAILABLE LATER BECOMES SAY TO YOU AS YOU GO IN EXECUTIVE SESSION THAT I KNOW THE WEIGHT OF A DECISION THAT IS 100 AND 50 TO 200 YEAR DECISION. WE NEED TO BUILD SOMETHING THAT HAS LONG SIDED AND I KNOW THAT THAT IS A DECISION TO MAKE AS YOU SELECT DEVELOPMENT PARTNER TO GO INTO THE THIS WILL WORK WITH US. WHAT I CAME HERE TO ASK YOU TO CONSIDER AN EXECUTIVE SESSION IS NOT JUST PICKING THIS PARTNER. I WOULD ASK YOU TO CONSIDER AN ADVISORY BOARD TO HELP BE A PART OF THIS DESIGN. PROCESS THE AESTHETICS, THE COMPONENTS, THE BUSINESSES, I BELIEVE THERE ARE THREE KEY ELEMENTS THAT NEEDED THREE KEY GROUPS OF PEOPLE NEED TO BE CONSIDERED. IN THIS DEVELOPMENT, THE RESIDENTS OF OUR HISTORIC DISTRICT THE BUSINESS OWNERS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF OUR HISTORIC DOWNTOWN. AND THE FUTURE BUSINESSES THAT WERE ASKING TO COME HERE. AND I HOPE THAT YOU WILL IN PART OF THE DECISION PROCESS WILL, UM LOOK FOR A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT CAN HELP BRING VISION AND INSIGHT AND TRY TO PUT OUR PAST AND OUR INTO OUR FUTURE. BUT PAINT OUR FUTURE IN A WAY THAT IS NOT JUST FOR THOSE THAT ARE HERE. BUT FOR THOSE THAT ARE COMING AND I VIEW EVERYTHING I DO. AS FOR MULTIPLE GENERATIONS AND KNOW THAT YOU'RE GOING INTO THIS WITH THAT, I JUST WAS LIKE, THANK YOU FOR GOING INTO THIS DECISION WITH THAT. I KNOW. I REALLY THINK THAT WE NEED TO DO A BETTER JOB OF COMMUNICATING WITH THE PUBLIC OUR PLANS FOR THE NATIONAL AIRPORT. AND I WANT US TO TAKE OUR TIME AND NOT RUSH THROUGH IT TO BE VERY TRANSPARENT WITH THE PUBLIC AND TO COME BACK WITH A REALLY GOOD PLAN IN TERMS OF WHAT WE SEE IN THE FUTURE OF THE AIRPORT, SO WE'RE GOING TO BE ASKING STAFF TO CLARIFY SOME OF THAT FOR US.
