ACT ON THE RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CHAPTER, 380 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AND PROJECT PLAN IMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT WITH HEADING TO FONDLE LLC FOR THE 501 AND SIX OR ONE EAST LOUISIANA ST FLOUR MILL BUILDINGS ROOF CRITICAL MAINTENANCE PROJECT. GOOD EVENING, EVERYONE. NICE TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN. SO TODAY WE ARE HERE TO PRESENT A CRITICAL MAINTENANCE TOURS. ONE REQUEST FOR THE 501 IN 601 BUILDINGS AT THE FLOUR MILL. THESE TWO BUILDINGS. THERE ARE THE SMALLER BUILDINGS BEHIND THE LARGE FLOUR MILL BUILDING. YOU CAN SEE THE LARGER OF THE TWO SMALL BUILDINGS HERE. THIS ONE WAS THE MILLHOUSE. THE OTHER ONE WAS THE OFFICE. THEY WERE BUILT IN 1915, THE SAME TIME AS THE MAIN MILL BUILDING. THEY LIKE THE MAIN MALE BUILDING OR PUT ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER IN 1987. THEY ARE BOTH WITHIN THE MTC AND THE TOURS. VACANT UNDERUTILIZED PROPERTIES AREA. THE REQUEST IS FOR MONEY TO HELP SUPPORT AND OFFSET SOME OF THE COSTS FOR REPAIRING THE ROOF. YOU CAN SEE THESE IMAGES HERE. THESE ARE FROM THE MILLHOUSE BUILDING. THE ROOF HAS SOME PONDING SPACES IN IT. IT'S BEEN THERE QUITE A NUMBER OF YEARS, AND IT'S DUE TO BE REPLACED. THE SIDING IS ON THE CLEAR STORY MONITOR ON THE TOP OF THE ROOF, KIND OF A POP UP SECTION OF WINDOWS. YOU CAN SEE THERE'S SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE SIGHTING THERE. AND THEN THIS RAFTER TAIL LOOKING THING THAT YOU SEE THERE ON THE SIDE IS ACTUALLY JUST THE END OF A ROOF BEAM TO THE BUILDING THAT STICKS OUT IN THIS HAD SOME WATER DAMAGE FROM OUR WATER ROOF. WATER LEAK IN THE ROOF, AND SO IT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED.AND THEN THIS IS THE 601 BUILDING. IF YOU LOOK AT THE RIGHT ANGLE, YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE THAT THE ROOF OF THE BUILDING HAS WAVES IN IT WHICH ARE GREAT AT THE BEACH. NOT ON YOUR ROOF. UM AND THEN SOME DAMAGE TO THE FACIA AND THINGS AGAIN FROM WATER POOLING. AND SO THIS IS TO CORRECT DO THAT CRITICAL MAINTENANCE ON THE ROOF TO KEEP IT FROM? DESTROYING THE INSIDE OF THE BUILDING. THEY WILL BE MAKING ROOF REPLACEMENTS AND KIND OF SAME THING WITH THE SIDING AND SOFFIT, REPAIR AND FIXING AND REPAIRING SOME GUTTERS, ADDING SOMEONE THERE NEED THEM. UM AND MAKING SOME PREPARES TO THE WINDOWS ON THAT MONITOR WHERE THE DAMAGE HAS HAPPENED, THAT TOTAL PROPOSED COST OF THE ELIGIBLE WORKERS $136,000 $136,240. UM TOURS, MAINTENANCE. CRITICAL MAINTENANCE REQUESTS ARE 5050 MATCHING GRANTS. AND SO THAT BRINGS US TO A $50,000 MAX FOR THOSE PROJECTS, AND SO THIS DOES MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THAT GRANT THE ELIGIBILITY AND THE FUNDING. BOTH ASPECTS OF THAT STAFF RECOMMENDS APPROVAL AND I STAND FOR ANY QUESTIONS. I WENT OUT AND WALKED THE PROPERTY. I'M FAMILIAR WITH IT. DEFINITELY THERE IS A DIRE NEED. YES, I HAVEN'T BEEN THERE TOO. YOU WANNA HAVE QUESTIONS? THE AFRICAN LIKE TO SPEAK TO THE ATOM. THE BOARD MEMBERS JAMES PRESIDENT HAN AT THE FLOUR MILL 407. EAST LOUISIANA STREET. UM. THEY CALL ME THE BUCKET MAN, BECAUSE I'M THE GUY THAT'S HAS ALL THE BUCKETS AROUND THE ON THE FLOOR WHEN IT RAINS AND THE WATER DRIPS DOWN, AND IT'S NOT GOOD. WHEN YOU'RE HAVING A WEDDING. THE BRIDE DOESN'T LIKE IT TOO MUCH. BUT FOR THE MOST
