WE BELIEVE THAT THE PRESENTATION TODAY REFLECTS A SIGNIFICANT EFFORT THAT SYNERGY HAS PUT INTO DESIGNING AND SITING THIS TOWER IN A WAY THAT COMPLIES WITH THE CITY OF MCKINNEY ORDINANCES AND CODES, WHILE ALSO ADDRESSING THE AREA'S GROWING DEMAND FOR ENHANCED WIRELESS COVERAGE. THE PROPOSED TOWER IS 120 FOOT. STEALTH DESIGN, AND THE BEST WAY TO REALLY DESCRIBE THAT IS IT'S CALLED NOT TECHNICALLY, BUT A FLAGLESS FLAGPOLE OR A SLICK MONOPOLE. ALL OF THE ANTENNAS HAVE TO BE INSIDE OF THE POLE ITSELF, SO THE WAY THAT THEY WOULD ACTUALLY ACCESS THE ANTENNAS INSIDE OF THE ANTENNA WOULD BE TO HAVE TO TAKE OFF A PANEL ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE OF THE TOWER, AND THE ANTENNA IS GOING TO BE BACK BEHIND IT, AND THEY WOULD PUT IT BACK ON. I THINK THERE ARE PROBABLY A FEW OF THEM AROUND THE CITY, BUT IN THIS REGION THEY'RE RELATIVELY COMMON. SO IT'S CALLED A SLICK MONOPOLE OR FLAGLESS FLAGPOLE, AND IT CAN ACCOMMODATE UP TO THREE CARRIERS PER THE UDC CODE.AND IT IS IT'S TYPICALLY WELL SUITED FOR BLENDING INTO THE ENVIRONMENT. WE DIDN'T LOOK IF ANYONE DIDN'T LOOK AT, I THOUGHT THE PROPAGATION MAPS WERE GOING TO BE SHOWN. THE PROPAGATION MAPS. CAN YOU PULL THOSE UP? RELIABLE CELL SERVICE IS CRITICAL TO THE FIRST RESPONDERS AND TO ALL THE MEDICAL PERSONNEL IN THE AREA, AND WE THINK THAT THIS SITE WILL PROVIDE A GREATLY ENHANCED COVERAGE FOR THAT AREA.
IT'S ALSO IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER THE PUBLIC SAFETY HEALTH ELEMENT. IT'S ESTIMATED THAT OVER 90% OF THE E911 CALLS. IT'S IT SAYS IN THE COUNTRY, BUT ALMOST IN THIS AREA FOR SURE ARE DONE THROUGH A CELL PHONE AND NOT A LANDLINE. SO EVERYONE DEPENDS ON THEIR PHONE.
