TODAY, OCTOBER IS USUALLY A LITTLE BIT QUIETER FOR US AS WE'RE OPENING POS AND THAT PROCESS AS WELL. IF WE'RE LOOKING AT REVENUES, WE COLLECTED A LITTLE BIT OVER $2.3 MILLION IN REVENUE, THE MAJORITY OF THAT BEING SALES TAX REVENUE, OPERATIONAL EXPENSES. WE HAD CLOSE TO 770,000 PROJECT EXPENSES WAS CLOSE TO 900,000, NON-DEPARTMENTAL WAS 93,000. WE'LL LOOK AT SALES TAX. THIS IS A WE KIND OF DO IT ON THE CASH BASIS. ONCE WE START A NEW YEAR THAT SCREENS OFF ONE SCREEN. YEP. SO THIS APPLIES TO AUGUST, THE AUGUST SALES THAT WE COLLECTED IN OCTOBER. YOU CAN SEE WE HAD A 3.2% INCREASE.

ALLEN HAD A 20.4% INCREASE. FRISCO HAD A 1.8% INCREASE IN PLANO HAD A 6.1% INCREASE. THE BIG THING WITH ALLEN IS OBVIOUSLY COSTCO OPENED MIDWAY THROUGH AUGUST, SO THEY AT LEAST HAD HALF A MONTH OF COSTCO SALES HITTING. AND OBVIOUSLY WITH AN OPENING, YOU GET A LITTLE BIT MORE ACTIVITY WITH AN OPENING AS WELL. NOW THAT'S OBVIOUSLY MY MY GUESS.

WHEN I REACH OUT TO THEM, THEY TELL ME IT'S JUST INCREASED CONSUMER SPENDING, BUT I GUESS THAT'S JUST WHAT EVERYONE SAYS. SO LASTLY, LOOKING AT THE. WELL, LET ME GO TO THE DO WE HAVE THE SALES TAX BY INDUSTRY IN HERE? WE DID I JUST FLASHED BY HERE WE GO. ALL RIGHT. PERFECT. SO OBVIOUSLY WHEN WE'RE LOOKING AT ONE MONTH TO START THE YEAR AND WE'RE LOOKING AT YEAR TO DATE VARIANCES, YOU'RE GOING TO SEE A LOT OF FLUCTUATIONS 3% RETAIL TRADE. THAT'S BEEN PRETTY CONSISTENT FOR ABOUT 12 MONTHS NOW. SO THAT'S BEEN FAIRLY STEADY FOR US. OUR MAIN DRIVER LOOKING AT THE OTHER STUFF, I'M NOT TOO CONCERNED ABOUT THE -15% AND MANUFACTURING. I'D LIKE TO SEE A FEW MORE MONTHS. IF WE GO BACK THREE MONTHS, THEN ALL THOSE ARE KIND OF AVERAGED OUT TO WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN, YOU KNOW, A LITTLE GIVE OR TAKE, BUT BIG PICTURE. THIS PAST CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON TUESDAY, THE COUNCIL ACTED ON FOUR ITEMS, ALL RELATED TO THE COMMERCIAL SERVICE AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION, INCLUDING THE $17 MILLION CONTRACT WITH MARIO SINACOLA AND SONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF TAXIWAY CHARLIE, WHICH IS ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE MAIN RUNWAY, WHICH WILL CONNECT TO THE PASSENGER SERVICE TERMINAL. ALSO, THE ROUNDABOUT AND THE ROAD CONNECTOR FROM FM 546 INTO THE PROPERTY OF THE AIRPORT ITSELF. SO COMBINE THOSE. THOSE TWO ARE $17 MILLION. THERE WAS PROCEDURAL ISSUES AS WELL AS SOME ANCILLARY RELATED CONTRACTS RELATED TO MATERIALS TESTING AND THOSE TYPES OF THINGS. SO WE ARE ROCKING AND ROLLING. THE AIRPORT COMMERCIAL SERVICE TERMINAL IS YOU'RE SEEING IT'S A TILT WALL BUILDING. THOSE TILTS, THOSE TILTED WALLS ARE BEING TILTED UP. SO WE ARE SEEING THE STRUCTURE TAKE PLACE. AND WE ARE CURRENTLY ON SCHEDULE FOR A LATE FALL OF 2026 OPENING. ALSO, YOU MAY HAVE SEEN IN THE NEWS THAT AVELLO HAS ENTERED INTO A USE AND LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY. THAT'S OUR FIRST AIRLINE. WE EXPECT MORE AND WE ARE IN CONVERSATIONS WITH ADDITIONAL AIRLINES, BUT THIS IS ALL A PROCEEDING ACCORDING TO SCHEDULE AND WE'RE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THAT. A COUPLE OF OTHER ITEMS. WE HAVE ISSUED AN RFQ FOR OUR SPORTS COMPLEX.

THIS IS 230 ACRES, I SHOULDN'T SAY OUR SPORTS COMPLEX, A POTENTIAL FUTURE SPORTS COMPLEX ON OUR LAND, PARKLAND SOUTH SIDE OF BLOOMDALE, JUST WEST OF TAYLOR BURKE, THE FUTURE TAYLOR BURKE WHERE IT'S GOING TO CONNECT WITH BLOOMDALE ROAD. THAT WILL BE AN INTERCHANGE WHEN THE BYPASS GOES IN. AND THAT'S A FABULOUS LOCATION BECAUSE IT WILL BE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE BYPASS. THERE'S ALSO ANOTHER 50 ACRES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BLOOMDALE THAT COULD ALSO BE THAT IS ALSO IN PLAY AS PART OF THE RFQ. WE'VE RAISED THE CITY OF MCKINNEY, RAISED 2400 GIFTS. WE ACTUALLY RAISED ABOUT 46% OF THE OVERALL GIFTS OF THE COMMUNITY. THE COMMUNITY GAVE, I THINK, 5100.

4600 OF THOSE. SO 2400. I'M TRYING TO REMEMBER THE MATH HERE. THERE WERE 2446 GIFTS GIVEN BY THE CITY, 1500. OF THOSE 46%. I'M SORRY. WERE DONATED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.

THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS ABLE TO RAISE A LARGE NUMBER OF GIFTS, AND WE WERE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THAT. THIS, I THINK, SET THE RECORD FOR THE NUMBER OF GIFTS THAT THE COMMUNITY RAISED, 5100 ALTOGETHER, AND AGAIN, 2400 BY THE CITY OF MCKINNEY EMPLOYEES, WHICH I THINK GOES TO SHOW THE HEARTS AND CARING OF OUR EMPLOYEES. AND AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT GETS THE AWARD FOR THE MOST RAISE. SO THANK YOU TO THEM. AND THAT'S ALL I HAVE. OUR BENEFICIARIES THIS YEAR WILL BE COMMUNITY GARDEN KITCHEN, WHO MANY OF YOU ARE ALL AWARE HAS DONE AN AMAZING JOB. LITTLE FREE PANTRIES, WHICH IS THE ONLY ANONYMOUS FOOD SOURCE IN THE CITY, AND WE ARE BEGINNING WITH MCKINNEY FOOD PANTRY THIS YEAR BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE TREMENDOUS FOOD SUPPLIERS, WE FOUND OUT THEY GO TIMES WITHOUT PROTEIN AND THERE IS NEED THERE. AND THEN THE SAMARITAN AND PANTRY COMMUNITY LIFELINE HAS LONG BEEN A BENEFICIARY OF OURS. THEY'RE NOW WITH SAMARITAN, AND WE'RE NOT QUITE SURE HOW IT'S ALL GOING TO MELD AND WHAT THEIR NEEDS WILL BE, BUT WE WILL KEEP THEM ON OUR GROUP AS A BENEFICIARY. I'M A LITTLE CONCERNED THAT WE MAY SHUT DOWN AGAIN IN JANUARY. OUR ADMISSION TO OUR EVENT STILL STANDS AT $35. THE FORMAT WILL BE BASICALLY THE SAME. THE ONLY HUGE ADVANTAGE IS WE'LL HAVE PARKING. MY NAME IS ELENA CIMA AND I AM THE NEW ONE MONTH IN DIRECTOR OF MUSEUM DIRECTOR OF THE COLLIN COUNTY HISTORY MUSEUM. AND WE ARE, AS YOU KNOW, A 500 1C3. AND WE PROVIDE A FREE MUSEUM EXPERIENCE FOR VISITORS OF DOWNTOWN MCKINNEY. AND OUR GOAL IS TO SHARE THE RICH HERITAGE OF COLLIN COUNTY AND ESTABLISH A LONG AND MEMORABLE CONNECTION WITH OUR VISITORS. I WILL BEGIN BY STATING THAT THE MUSEUM HAS BEEN THROUGH SEVERAL TRANSITIONS IN 2025, WITH SEVERAL DIRECTORS AND NEW BOARD MEMBERS. WE HAVE NOW HAVE TWO NEW PAID STAFF MEMBERS, MYSELF AND A BUSINESS MANAGER. OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS ARE VERY EXCITED AND HAVE PUT THEIR HEART AND SOUL INTO MAKING THIS MUSEUM ONE OF THE BEST MUSEUMS TO VISIT IN COLLIN COUNTY. AND AS YOU CAN SEE HERE IN THIS PHOTO, ONE OF OUR BOARD MEMBERS, 69 YEARS OLD, STARTED AT THE STEPS OF THE MUSEUM AND RODE HIS BIKE TO LUBBOCK AND RAISED OVER $27,000 FOR THE MUSEUM. WE FIND A PERCENTAGE OF OUR VISITORS COME TO US. OH, FROM FROM ACROSS TEXAS AND THE OTHER STATES. IN 2024, WE HAD ALMOST 5000 VISITORS, AND IN 2025, WE ARE ON TRACK TO HAVE THOSE SAME NUMBERS. 75% OF OUR VISITORS ARE FROM THE STATE OF TEXAS, 20% FROM OTHER STATES. AND JUST TO SEE HOW MANY ORGANIZATIONS, HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE WANTING TO TAKE THAT NEXT STEP TO FILL OUT THE THE APPLICATION AND IN SUBMIT IT, I MEAN, IT'S JUST A TREMENDOUS STORY OF OUR COMMUNITY AND HOW MANY PEOPLE REALLY, TRULY, TRULY ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN ORGANIZATIONS ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE HERE IN MCKINNEY. SO, I MEAN, WHAT PAUL SAID TODAY IS, YOU KNOW, WE WE HAD 48% OF OF THE CULMINATION OF, OF OF EVERYTHING. I MEAN, THE FACT THAT OUR COMMUNITY IS, IS GIVING IN THAT WAY IS JUST PHENOMENAL. PAUL WHO?
