THE BOARD MEMBERS THAT YOU SEE SEATED BEFORE YOU THIS EVENING HAVE BEEN APPOINTED BY CITY COUNCIL AND SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE CITY COUNCIL. IF YOU ARE HERE THIS EVENING AND WISH TO SPEAK DURING A PUBLIC COMMENT SECTION, PLEASE COMPLETE A SPEAKER'S CARD.

STATE YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS FOR THE RECORD AND LIMIT YOUR REMARKS TO THREE MINUTES. WE ASK THAT YOU BE CONCISE IN YOUR COMMENTS AND SPEAK ONLY ONCE, IF NECESSARY, TO CLARIFY OR TO ANSWER QUESTIONS POSED BY THE AUDIENCE. THAT BETTY. ALL RIGHT. FIRST ITEM IS ITEM NUMBER HP 2026 0008. CONSIDER, DISCUSS ACT ON A REQUEST BY OWNER ANTHONY ARNOLD FOR A CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR DEMOLITION OF A DETACHED GARAGE LOCATED AT 410 NORTH BRADLEY STREET AND RINA WILL MAKE A PRESENTATION.

HELLO. OKAY, SO THIS EVENING I'M BRINGING FORWARD A REQUEST FOR CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR THE DEMOLITION OF A DETACHED SHED FOR OUR GARAGE. EXCUSE ME? FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 410 NORTH BRADLEY. AND THE OWNERS ARE HERE THIS EVENING. THE HOME WAS CONSTRUCTED CIRCA 1925, IN THE CLASSICAL REVIVAL STYLE, AND THE 2023 HISTORIC RESOURCES SURVEY HAS IT LISTED AS A MEDIUM PRIORITY. MEDIUM PRIORITY MEANS THAT IT CONTRIBUTES TO LOCAL HISTORY OR BROADER HISTORICAL PATTERNS, BUT ALTERATIONS HAVE DIMINISHED ITS INTEGRITY, AND YOU CAN SEE A PICTURE OF THE GARAGE HERE. AND THEN THE NEXT SEVERAL SLIDES WILL BE PHOTOS OF ITS CURRENT CONDITIONS. AND BECAUSE THIS IS A GARAGE, THERE ARE NO HISTORICAL PHOTOS THAT FOCUS ON THE GARAGE ITSELF. STAFF HAS RECOMMENDED APPROVAL OF THIS REQUEST FOR THE DEMOLITION. THE DETACHED GARAGE IS NOT CHARACTER DEFINING, AND IT IS NOT INTEGRAL TO THE HISTORY OF THE PROPERTY, AND STAFF DOES NOT FEEL IT WILL IMPACT THE PRIORITY RATING OF THE HOME ITSELF. THE BOARD HAS FOUR OPTIONS APPROVE, APPROVE WITH CONDITIONS, DENY OR ISSUE A 90 DAY DELAY. AFTER THE 90 DAY DELAY, THE CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS WOULD BE ISSUED. MOTION TO APPROVE THE ITEM APPROVES THE REQUEST FOR DEMOLITION. AND THIS CONCLUDES MY PRESENTATION. OKAY.
