HOW DO WE AS A COMMUNITY, APPROACH THE ISSUE OF HOMELESSNESS? HOW ARE WE GOING TO WHAT TYPES OF SERVICES ARE WE GOING TO PROVIDE? AND SO BEFORE WE GET TO THAT POINT, WE'VE GOT TO HAVE AN AWFUL LOT OF COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS. AND WE HAVE OUR CONSULTANT, WHICH IS A GROUP OF TEAM FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT DALLAS, WHO IS GOING TO BE PRESENTED AT THE MARCH 3RD MEETING NEXT WEEK.AS OUR NAVIGATOR. THEY WILL BE NAVIGATING OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH THESE IMPORTANT CONVERSATIONS, SOME RESEARCH THAT WILL BE DONE, DATA COMPARISONS, ETC. AND WHAT OTHER CITIES ARE DOING. HE'S KNOWN FOR HIS UNIQUE STYLE ON HOW HE BUILDS, YOU KNOW, LOBBIES, AND IT'S IT'S MORE GEARED TO THE BUSINESS TRAVELER, YOU KNOW, WORKING WITH THE NORMAL TYPES OF BRANDS MARRIOTT, HILTON, IHG BY NOW, BY 2024, HE HAD ALREADY CREATED ABOUT 16 PROPERTIES IN NORTH TEXAS. AND THEN IN 2024, WE HAVE THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY REINS. THEY MERGED TOGETHER AND THEY EXPANDED MARKETS THROUGH THE THROUGH THE TEXAS MARKET. RAIN STARTED OFF AS A GAS STATION GAS COMPANY OUT IN THE SOUTH. AND THEN THEY QUICKLY WENT INTO THE HOTEL INDUSTRY IN THE 80S. AS OF NOW, THEY HAVE ABOUT 43 HOTELS IN ROUGHLY ABOUT 5000 ROOMS THROUGHOUT THE SOUTH AND TEXAS MARKET, WHICH I'LL SHOW YOU IN A MAP IN A MINUTE. THEY'VE BEEN AWARD WINNING. AND THEN WE HAVE ONE PROPERTY IN FLORIDA. AND THEN IF WE GO BACK TO THE TEXAS, THERE'S TWO THAT ARE IN THE COLONY. I LIKE TO COMPARE THE COLONY AND MCKINNEY TOGETHER. YOU CAN FEEL THAT IT'S STARTING TO SPREAD OUT WITH ALL THE HOTELS THAT ARE BEING IN THE MARKET. MELISSA'S STARTING TO BUILD HOTELS IN THEIR MARKET. A LOT OF OUR CONSTRUCTION COMES FROM MELISSA IN ANNA, WITH ALL THE NEW DEVELOPMENT, AND NOW THAT THEY HAVE A PROPERTY THERE AND HOLIDAY HOLIDAY INN CLOSE TO OPENING, WE'RE SEEING SOME OF THAT KIND OF SPREAD OUT FOR OUR CONSTRUCTION. SPRINGHILL BIG, BIG GROWTH 3.7 REVENUE AT A 114 ADR, 70% IN 2023. AND THEN GOING INTO 25, WE GREW BY 3.9, GREW IN RATE BY $6 AT 120 WITH A 72% OCCUPANCY.
