AND OF COURSE, TOURISM NOW HAS REVEALED SOME NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR MCKINNEY, KEN AND BEACH BEING THE PRIME EXAMPLE HERE. THE NEXT ONE IS OUR AIRPORT. SO SOME OF YOU ARE SEEING THIS EXHIBIT FOR THE FIRST TIME. THIS IS HIGHLIGHTING THE MASTER PLANNING POTENTIAL OF THE LAND EAST OF THE AIRPORT. SO THROUGH WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS CONNECTION WITH THE THE CITY OF MCKINNEY, THEY HAVE SAID, HEY, WE WANT TO STAND UP A PILOT THAT CAN BE REPLICATED ACROSS THE 14 COUNTY AREA THAT WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS SERVES. AND KNOWING THAT MCKINNEY IS A PLACE WHERE INNOVATION AND IDEAS CAN THRIVE, THEY REQUESTED WITH MR. GRIMES APPROVAL TO PARTNER WITH US. SO THIS IS A GREAT INITIATIVE THAT AGAIN, ALIGNS WITH THE FISCAL YEAR 26 OBJECTIVES THAT WERE APPROVED BY CITY COUNCIL EARLIER THIS YEAR TO FORM AT LEAST ONE PARTNERSHIP WITH A COMMUNITY PARTNER. SO THE OBJECTIVE IN THIS INITIATIVE WILL FOCUS ON HOSPITALITY TO INCLUDE ACCOMMODATION, TRAVEL AND TOURISM, FOOD AND BEVERAGE, ENTERTAINMENT, SPORTS AND RECREATION. AGAIN, LEANING TOWARDS THE INDUSTRY DEMAND THAT MR. KOSKI SPOKE TO AND DEVELOPMENT COMING OUR WAY. SO TO DATE, WE HAVE GATHERED OVER 40 STAKEHOLDERS, GATHERED THEM AND REALLY SOUGHT FEEDBACK FROM VARIOUS STAKEHOLDERS IN THE COMMUNITY ON WHAT SUCCESS COULD BE FROM THEIR PERSPECTIVE AND THAT INITIAL INITIAL DISCOVERY MEETING THAT WE HAD A MONTH OR SO AGO, OVER 150 IDEAS WERE GENERATED, AND WE HAVE BEGUN TO START TO TO CULL THOSE IDEAS DOWN. AND OUR DISCOVERY MEETING NUMBER TWO WILL HAPPEN WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK. AND THE INTENT IS REALLY TO DIVE DEEPER INTO THAT HOSPITALITY COMPONENT AND THEN TO ALIGN PARTNERS COMMITMENTS, TIMELINE AND ENSURE THAT WHAT WE'RE STANDING UP IN MCKINNEY COULD BE NUMBER ONE SUCCESSFUL FOR OUR COMMUNITY AS WELL AS THE REGION, WITH OTHER ACTIVITIES GOING ON IN THE REGION, SUCH AS UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, KALAHARI, THE SPORTS COMPLEX, NORTH IN NORTH MCKINNEY.
