SO THE GOAL WAS TO MAKE SURE THAT WE BUILT AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION THAT WAS READY FOR THE FUTURE. WE ALSO NEED TO RE IMAGE AND REBRAND EDIE. SEE WE WERE. WE WERE SUFFERING FROM THE LACK OF WHAT I WOULD CALL A BRAND EQUITY. IN A NUMBER OF IMPORTANT PLACES, SO I SPENT A LOT OF TIME BUILDING OUR WEBSITE BUILDING. OUR BRANDING WORKING ON ARE MARKING MATERIALS AND COLLATERAL CHANGING THE FACE OF THE ORGANIZATION. I ALSO RECOGNIZE THAT WE NEEDED UP OUR GAME WITH RESPECT TO TOWN. SO HOW COULD WE BUILD BETTER STAFF COMPETENCIES ON OVERALL IMPROVED THE TOWN OF LABOR ORGANIZATION. AND THEN FINALLY, WITH THE SHARP FOCUS ON THE LAND ASSETS THAT WE STRATEGICALLY ACQUIRED THREE YEARS AGO. THEY'RE ALSO UNDERSTANDING THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT WE OFFER IN A MUCH MORE MEANINGFUL WAY. WITH RESPECT TO NEW INDUSTRIES COMING TO OUR CITY. WE HAD TO CHANGE OUR LENS ON PROJECTS. WE NEED TO REALLY UP OUR GAME ON THE KINDS OF PROJECTS WANTED TO PURSUE THE KINDS OF PROJECTS WE TRACKED AND, FRANKLY BE ABLE TO WALK AWAY FROM PROJECT DIDN'T JUST QUITE FIT. AS A RESULT, NOW YOU SEEM MUCH MORE CLASSIC CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS OFFICE DEVELOPMENT IN OUR CITY. AND HISS VERSUS I'M SORRY TO SAY HISTORY OF ATTRACTING SOME NICE BUT NOT NECESSARILY BIG IMPACT WILL KIND OF LOW AND INDUSTRIAL PROJECT WORK. WE'RE GONNA BE READY FOR THE FUTURE. SO THE RESULT OF THAT NOW IS OUR GROWTH POTENTIAL IS INCREASED SIGNIFICANTLY AND WERE ABLE TO ATTRACT LEADING COMPANIES AND HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH LEADING COMPANIES ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITIES HERE IN THE QUALITY OF LIFE WE REPRESENT. SO LOOKING AHEAD. 2020 AND BEYOND. WE REALIZED THAT WE NEEDED TO TAKE ANOTHER LOOK AT OUR POLICIES TOWARD OUR INVESTMENTS. TO MAKE SURE THAT WE HAD THE RIGHT POLICIES TO GUIDE OUR INVESTMENTS IN THE FUTURE GOING FORWARD. NOW. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT DESPITE ECONOMIC DOWNTURN, PANDEMIC WE'VE DONE PRETTY WELL. I MEAN, WE'VE GOT A REPUTATION NOW AS A GREAT PLACE TO LOOK FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. OFFICE DEVELOPMENT SECTORS ARE TRYING TO ATTRACT. MARKET INTEREST IN MCKINNEY IS GROWING, AND IT'S GETTING STRONGER ALL THE TIME. OUR PROJECT PIPELINE IS AT A HISTORIC HIGH. THE DEMAND FOR OUR INVESTMENTS IS PUTTING PRESSURE ON HER FINANCIAL RESOURCE. THIS IS KIND OF A GOOD NEWS. BAD NEWS KIND OF PROBLEM THEY HAVE. WE HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE INTERESTED IN A LOT OF PEOPLE. PLACING A DEMAND ON THE RESOURCE WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO THEM. BUT THAT ALSO PUTS A LITTLE PRESSURE ON OUR FINANCES, BOTH FROM A CASH INTO BORROWING STANDPOINT, A LITTLE BIT OF A BALANCE TO BE STRUCK THERE. OUR BALANCE SHEET IS STRONG. ALICE. SHE IS VERY STRONG, BUT IT'S HEAVILY WEIGHTED RIGHT NOW, IN THE LAND THAT WE OWN ABOUT $66 MILLION IN OUR ASSET COLUMN IS INVESTMENT PROPERTY LANDED THAT

WE'VE BEEN VERY FORTUNATE IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS OF THE PANDEMIC, AND THAT OUR SALES TAX REVENUE IS HAS BEEN GROWING, FRANKLY KIND OF SURPRISING US ALL. WE DON'T KNOW HOW SUSTAINABLE THAT ISSO THERE IS AN ELEMENT OF UNCERTAINTY AS YOU LOOK AT OUR REVENUE STREAMS GOING FOR WE'RE NOT QUITE REALLY SURE WHAT A POSTCODE REVENUE ENVIRONMENTS GONNA LOOK LIKE. ALL THAT REQUIRES US TO NOW SHARPEN OUR FOCUS AND INCREMENTAL PRUDENCE.

MCKINNEY'S MEDIAN INCOME IS STRONG. COLLIN COUNTY AVERAGE WAGE IS STRONG. OUR EDUCATIONAL STATISTICS ARE STRONG. BETWEEN HIGH SCHOOL AND BACHELORS DEGREES.
