SO TODAY, WE'RE GONNA BE TALKING ABOUT THE 2020 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. MINOR AMENDMENTS. UH, THIS IS THIEF. FIRST ROUND OF AMENDMENTS SINCE ADOPTION BACK IN OCTOBER OF 2018. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS REQUIRED BY CHAPTER NINE OF THE COM PLAIN IMPLEMENTATION. IT TALKS ABOUT THESE MINOR AMENDMENTS AND OCCASIONAL MAJOR AMENDMENTS. JUST MAKE SURE THINGS ARE STILL IN LINE WITH. HEARD MARKET DEMANDS AND FIXING SMALL LITTLE ERRORS THAT WE FOUND. SO FOR TODAY'S PRESENTATION, WE'RE GONNA BE GOING OVER THE AMENDMENTS.

TALKING ABOUT SOME OF TODAY'S CHAPTER THREE, WHICH IS THE LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY. WE'RE GONNA BE GOING OVER SOME OF THE FUTURE LAND USE DIAGRAM AMENDMENTS. MASTER THOROUGHFARE PLAN AMENDMENTS. AND THEN A QUICK SUMMARY IN DISCUSSION. SO FOR THE OVERVIEW

HERE, WE BROKE IT DOWN INTO THREE MAJOR GROUPS OF AMENDMENTS. THIS TIME, THOSE AIR TYPOGRAPHICAL ON GRAMMAR CHANGES WHERE WE'RE JUST FINDING SOME OF THE SMALL ERRORS THAT WE MADE DURING INITIAL ADOPTION. WE ALSO TOOK A LOOK AT UPDATING THE MASTER THOROUGHFARE PLAN. MINOR ALIGNMENT CHANGES AND SOME POTENTIAL CHANGES TO ILLUSTRATE ACROSS THE ACTIONS. THE THIRD. CATEGORY HERE IS ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES IN THAT WE TOOK A LOOK AT THE CHAPTER THREE THAT LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY. THAT WAS ONE THAT WE GOT A LOT OF FEEDBACK ON AND SAID THAT IT WASN'T EXACTLY USER FRIENDLY, SO WE DID A LITTLE BIT OF A REDESIGN AND ADDED SOME ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONALITY TO IT. ADDITIONALLY IN THAT CHAPTER, WE ADDED THE SPECIFIC USES AND LOCATION CRITERIA AND WE ADDED THE FUTURE LAND USE DIAGRAM JUST SO THAT THERE IS A MINIMAL PAGE TURNING WHEN YOU'RE REFERENCING SOME OF THOSE SOME OF THOSE CRITERION DIAGRAMS. AND THEN FINALLY WE DID A DIGITAL OPTIMIZATION OF THE DOCUMENT. ANOTHER THING THAT WE GOT A LOT OF FEEDBACK ON WAS THAT THE DOCUMENT WAS PRETTY HEAVY, HARD TO OPEN. SOMETIMES THE PAGES WOULD TAKE A LITTLE BIT LONGER TO LOAD. SO WE WERE ABLE TO KIND OF GO INTO THE BACK AND TWEAK SOME SMALL THINGS. AND HOPEFULLY THE DOCUMENT RUNS A LITTLE BIT SMOOTHER NOW. SO THE FIRST THING WE'RE GOING TO TAKE A LOOK AT HERE IS THE CHAPTER THREE CHANGES. SO THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT THE DI WHAT THOSE PLACE TYPE DEFINITIONS LOOKED LIKE BEFORE. ON. THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT IT IS PROPOSED TO LOOK LIKE NOW, JUST A LITTLE BIT OF A RE SKIN ON IT ZOOMING IN HERE ON ONE OF THEM.
