CONSIDER AN ACT ON AN ORDINANCE AT CITY COUNCIL CITY. MCKINNEY, TEXAS, CERTIFYING THE ELECTION RESULTS FOR THE NOVEMBER 3RD 2020 SPECIAL ELECTION. MAJOR FULLER IN CASTLE. I'M IN FRUSTRATION. SEE THE SECRETARY OF CITY. PURPOSE OF THIS ITEM IS FOR THE CITY COUNCIL TO CANVAS OR OFFICIALLY APPROVE THE RESULTS OF THE CITY OF MECHANICS. SPECIAL ELECTION OF NOVEMBER 3RD 2020. THE ACT OF THIS GOVERNING BODY TO CANVASS THE ELECTION IS A REQUIREMENT OF TEXAS ELECTIONS COACH AFTER 67. VOTERS CAST BALLOTS ON ELECTION DAY, WHICH WAS NOVEMBER 3RD, AS WELL AS DURING THE EARLY VOTING PERIOD OF OCTOBER. 13TH 30TH. WE HAVE RECEIVED THOSE FINAL RESULTS AFTER CAREFUL PROCESS OF TABULATING THE BALLOTS. VOTERS WERE ABLE TO CAST BALLOTS IN PERSON IN NUMEROUS LOCATIONS ACROSS THE COUNTY AND BY MAIL WHEN APPROPRIATE. I'D LIKE TO THANK THE MANY LIBRARIES, SCHOOLS, RECREATION CENTERS AND OTHER FACILITIES THAT OPEN THEIR DOORS FOR THIS WEEK'S LONG PROCESS. I'D ALSO LIKE TO THANK COLLIN COUNTY ELECTIONS ADMINISTRATOR BREWSTER BUT AND HIS TEAM AND THE ELECTION JUDGES AND THE POLL WORKERS THEIR JOB.
